Rivers Edge Apartments

I was a resident at Rivers edge for over 5 years on 2 seperate occassions and my husband even longer. The last apartment we rented from them was horrible!!! We had multiple issues with the electrical, the windows not properly being sealed, multiple leaks in the bedroom, bathrooms and kitchen as well as issues with the fire place and neighbors that would not clean up after their animals making it impossible to open our windows or even walk around with our children! Not to mention that the homeless not only dig through the garbage but also use the laundry facilities! The neighborhood is horrible and the office staff does not communicate with each other so nothing gets resolved! If you are looking for a apartment to rent I would suggest looking else where!!! Save your money, time and sanity!

I’ve been living here for about a year and a half, and I really like being here. The maintenance guys are always really nice and helpful, Elvie is always prompt and attentive.

Really wonderful place, the managment are super helpful and kind, if there is ever a problem they help out the best they can and they try really hard to do a great job. The aparments are nice and in good condition, the parking is annoying but workable but it’s still a great place that feels like home

TERRIBLE!!!
The office is unorganized and there’s lack of honesty between the leasing agent Tracy, and the manager Elvie.
Tracy is new. Lost our rent check and said to submit a new check. She then said to put a stop payment on the missing check so that she didn’t deposit two checks. Well, the office found the missing check and tried to cash it. Well since we had already put a stop payment on the check that Tracy advised us to do we are now getting charged a fee for the bounced check.
When we confronted Tracy in front of the manager that she was the one that lost the original check and told us to put a stop payment on it she denied it!!! We’ve lived here for 3 years with no problems until Tracy came into the picture and we’re the ones being blamed for the issue bc of a lying employee trying to save her job.
Every other day cars get broken into, gas syphoned, bums walk the premises looking for recyclables and recently a tenant’s cat was tortured.
Supposedly there’s security. The units are nice but that’s the only positive about this place. Tracy needs to be reprimanded, tenant screening and a major clean up is needed.
