The short: Hidden away in downtown Lodi if you look hard enough you might find a olive oil shop The long: Another store hidden away in downtown. It’s a small little shop with a tiny selection of olive oils and vinegars that you can sample and purchase. They have a few different flavors of both which you can pair up together. Now I usually like these little shops, but I’m not sure if the lady working the counter either was really bored and overly excited to have customers or was a control freak but she did not allow us to try anything on our own. By that I mean she paired everything for us and even if we wanted to try flavor A with flavor B she wouldn’t allow it. I’m not sure how long this shop is going to make it unless this lady backs up and lets customers be. What works: An EVOO and vinegar shop in Lodi What to improve: Leave people along to taste on their own

I really like the product but the vibe is very awkward the past couple times we’ve gone. It needs some music, and space to sample. As soon as you walk in the owner is right on top of you so it feels a little uncomfortable.

5 stars is not enough for Olive Heaven! What a great addition to downtown Lodi. Who knew you could taste & fall in love with so many oils & vinegars??? Thank goodness they sell sample packs so you can take some home to enjoy for later. These sample packs also make great gifts for those who may have different tastes so that way they can find the one that is the best! I bought Mushroom Garlic olive oil with Lemon flavored vinegar. OMG! Heaven… I guess that’s why they call is Olive Heaven huh??? :) I also purchased the chipotle olive oil with traditional vinegar. Again… heaven!!! Finally, I decided to get the really hot bread dipping oil in the large bottle! And that was by far one of the favorites for our Christmas Party. The best thing about this place(besides it’s amazing oils & vinegars, duh!) is the location. What a perfect item to buy before you head out to go wine tasting at one of the many downtown tasting rooms in Lodi. I will be back. Maybe even today ;)
