Clean, cozy, and convenient location for Seneca Lake wine trail and nearby restaurants. Mike and Brenda(Your hosts) are terrific. And a wonderful breakfast is delivered to your doorstep every morning. Great way to start your day. I also love the huge hot tub, enclosed in a gazebo, on cool evenings. Peaceful and beautiful surroundings

I LOVE this place! The cabins are small but well laid out and well equipped and beautifully kept. Everything looked brand new, and some great amenities were provided(other reviewers mentioned these already). The hot tub was really great, its enclosed in a gazebo so the bugs won’t bother you, and a fan to keep a nice breeze. The homemade breakfast provided is amazing! Each morning there was a hot dish, like a quiche or fritatta or egg bake; and a pastry, like muffins or scones; and some fresh fruit and juices. We all oooed and ahhhed while we gobbled it down. The location is right in between Seneca and Cayuga lakes, so its very easy access to many wineries and local shops, it made for easy touring. The cabins are in a fairly wooded area so its relatively cool and comfortable, even during 90 degree days(like when we stayed!). I will definitely come back again the next time I visit the Finger Lakes region!

We spent three nights here in September 2011 and loved every minute of our trip. Mike and Brenda are wonderful hosts and their cabins are lovely and incredibly clean. They’ve thought of everything, from half & half in the fridge and ice in the freezer, to jacuzzi towels(oh yeah — there’s a hot tub) to lanterns for finding your way in the dark, to a bed for the dog. Each morning Mike brought by a picnic basket of assorted delicious, homemade breakfast goodies. They provided charcoal and wood if you feel like hanging out in the cabin and grilling. They offered tons of recommendations for nearby activities and wonderful places to eat. We couldn’t have asked for more. Best of all, the property is remote yet close to places we wanted to go(we even biked to some nearby wineries on Seneca Lake) and very, very peaceful. We aren’t usually the types to vacation at the same spot more than once, but we look forward to making a trip to Mill Creek Cabins an annual event.

This place is just lovely, especially if you’re looking to shack up for a few days. The owners, Brenda and Mike, have thought of everything, and the cabin came fully equipped with coffee maker, full-sized fridge, stove, oven, and every kitchen thing you could think of(pots, pans, serving spoons, cork screw, pot holders, towels, plates, bowls, cups, etc.). Plenty of big towels, and magazines about the area and free postcards were a nice touch. Outside was even better! BBQ grill with full array of BBQ utensils, a covered porch with a bunch of chairs, a fire pit, and of course, the charcoal and wood to boot. I was a little disappointed that Mike set up a fire for us each night as I have some awesome fire-building skills I learned as a Girl Scout that I was ready to show off. But even I had to admit, that guy can make a fire! You’ll have a raging campfire going every night even if you’ve never lit one in your life. Brenda also makes a yummy breakfast each morning that they deliver to your porch. They’re the perfect B&B owners in that they know everything about the area and gave us some great recommendations; however, I never felt as awkward as I do at many B&Bs…they kept their distance and I felt like we had a TON of privacy at our little cabin in the woods. But the BEST thing about this little gem is that there’s a gazebo between the two cabins that has a giant awesome hot tub in it. Seriously, the thing is as big as a hotel hot tub, but it has better jets and crazy underwater lights. There’s a sign out front that says«open» or «occupied,» so it’s easy to jump in and feel like you’re in your own… well, giant awesome hot tub in the middle of a forest(which you are). Bonus: open 24 hours! One last note, we had three cell phones each on a different network, and none of them got reception at the cabin(but once you drove out to 414 you could get it). This is actually a nice plus for us, but def something to know before you go. There’s a phone in the cabin but local calls cover a pretty small area, so you may want to buy a cheap pre-paid phone card before you come.
