China King

So many things are wrong with this restaurant. The staff yell at you for starters. I live in Little Ferry and they deliver to my neighbor’s home. Yet when I requested an order 2 times a female employee told me I would need to order $ 30 worth of food or more in order for them to deliver to my town. After a failed delivery attempt I decided to pick up food from the restaurant itself. I like trying different chinese take outs in order to find good fried rice not the plastic yellow greasy stuff most chinese take out gives you. So I ate their fried wantons, fried fish with shrimp fried rice and a wanton soup. The food was too greasy. The fish smelt rotten and had more breading than fish. They only put 4 shrimps in the rice. The soup was ok. The next 2 days I had some of the worse stomach pains. I am not sure exactly what it was that made me sick but it came from China King

Service is bad. Food is bad. Price is above average.
bottom line: don’t go there. If you do need to order take out Chinese food, do yourself a favor, find another store.

Nice and quick. Ordered shrimp Lo. Mein. I think the number of shrimps are less in the lo mein than other Chinese restaurants around.

I don’t know how I could possibly be the first person to review China King. It’s nestled in a strip mall on a road that is part Terhune/​Passaic across from the Curtis Wright complex and new Avalon community. The food has been great — it’s always fresh and consistently appetizing. The service is wonderful-​The staff is always smiling and really seem to appreciate their customers which is rare in other Chinese take-​out establishments. I’ve never waited more than a half hour for delivery and pickup is available within 10 minutes. Again, I highly recommend China King. You can even order online and the site is so easy to use (includes promo codes!) Thanks China King!!!
