Champion Thai Restaurant

What a great dinner. Excellent service. Always looking forward to coming back and trying other dishes.
We started off with deep fried pot stickers with a sweet chili sauce. Very good. We also had the small house salad with peanut sauce. Very refreshing. They then brought us a complimentary order of the veggie egg rolls, again with a sweet chili sauce. Very tasty.
For our entrees Kathy ordered Cashew Nut Chicken. I ordered Bangkok Pepper Beef (I think that was the name, #40 on the menu). Comes with a house made spicy red sauce. We also ordered Jasmine White Rice.
We shared our entrees. To my surprise, Kathy liked my spicy #40. After our waiter brought out some Thai spices of green and red diced hot peppers in what I think was a fish sauce, I doctored up the chicken dish.
We were both happy we came here tonight.

The BEST Thai food in Lodi! Their food rivals Siamese Street in Stockton, even my finicky kids loved their Satay Chicken, hubbie loves their Pad Thai and my favorite was the Green Curry! The best part is they deliver free with a $ 25 minimum order!

I have been slacking on doing this… I took my GF to try this place out, well let me tell you. I ordered thai Basil beef and she ordered shrimp pad thai with an appetizer of squid. the squid was fabulous. We got our meals and mine was off the charts Awesome. My GF loved her shrimp pad thai but what hit me the most was I asked for mine to be really hot and I was brought a side dish of different kinds of thai peppers. Holy Moly! They were awesome and very hot. I told the owner the these things were like little terrorist’s in your mouth but the flavor of the thai basil beef and these I couldn’t get enough. I was sweating and he was laughing but I sincerely think these people cook with love. Highly Recommend.

I can not say it enough. Some of the best Thai food I have had. Very good food. Clean and Service was good. had Pineapple Fried Rice, pad thai, honey Duck, BBQ Chicken. Have to say the trout was best item. Will come back again.

I do think it is clean and the guy who took my to go order was very nice and even came to the florist next door to make sure I didn’t forget it. However I’m still trying to fix up the pineapple fried rice I brought home. They should buy the recipe from the other family who owned the previous restaurant at same location. The calamari in it is so tough it is unedible, and the rice has no flavor at all, AND they used frozen mixed vegetables in it, like the kind one buys in the grocery store with lima beans… but no where on the menu does it state these ingredients. Also the MMA theme, or boxing theme posters underglass on the tables is very unappetizing to some.people. I don’t mind boxing but when one is dining one does not like to think of sweat and blood flying all around. I think they have an identity crisis… one has to go all the way with the sports theme with TV’s etc, or not… They have nice white cloth table cloths on the tables like the former owners, but they have put boxing, or MMA, posters on top of them and glass over that! In the corner they have tons of sweet little miniature plates of food in a nice glass case that little girls would love to look at,
.It just doesn’t work together. One could just do takeout, but I will not go back I’m going to throw out the rice I brought home anyway…

Very good food. Clean and service was good. Suprised we were the only patrons in restaurant as food was so good. Will come back again. Had honey duck, deep fried trout, pad thai. Have to say the trout was best item.

I was getting my car worked on and stop at this restaurant by accident! It’s amazing the places you find like that! The place was clean and I don’t know this kind of food. I tried it and liked everything I ate! I will defiantly go back on purpose.

We used to patronize the previous Thai restaurant at this location and will always have a soft spot for them. However… I have to say the new restaurant is absolutely amazing!
The menu has so many different choices, and still we went with some of the items we’ve always been comfortable with. We know there are dishes we want to try when we return (like the BBQ Pork and the Fried Trout.)
We had the Panang Curry with Beef, Pineapplr Fried Rice, Papaya Salad and Fried Calamari. All were so yummy. And there is always room for dessert. We tried the Fried Banana with Coconut Ice Cream– need I say more?
We shall return.

Stopped in to this new restaurant after hearing the location had changed ownership/​name.
We had lunch but can’t wait to come back again to try more dishes ! They have a good selection of specials for lunch at a good price. Their yellow curry, which is my go to Thai dish that I judge a place on, was very good. Satay with peanut sauce also delicious. Looking forward to trying noodle and rice dishes !!
