My darling husband bought me a Champion Juicer in 2000, I still use this bad ass masticating machine almost everyday and it really does live up to it’s name. I make fresh vegetable juices, fruit juices, apple sauce, baby food, etc. The $ 220 for the juicer has more than paid for itself, and I look forward to many more decades with this machine and my sweetheart who bought it for me.

me m of Unilocal fame reminded me that I own The Champion Juicer made & manufactured in our very own Lodi. The juicer lives up to it’s name. It keeps masticating those fiberous fruits and veggies and never tires of it’s duties. Many juicers don’t live up to their claims and bog down under the leafy greens and dense carrots. Not my champion! I’m not really sure how long I’ve had it but I’m pretty sure it’s at least as old as my marriage, 17 years. I’ve never had to replace any parts but it’s good to know I don’t have to throw the whole thing away if I do need parts; they are readily available online. I can’t remember where I purchased the juicer but I think it was at Artesian’s Health Food Store again, some 17 years ago. The only thing the juicer needs is a little olive oil on the shaft that turns the masticating blade every other use. It’s no more difficult to clean than the centrifugal style that is sold on television but the juice it renders is superior. If you are one that is not a fan of eating 5 vegetables a day and don’t have that much chewing time or preparation time; juicing may be just the thing you’ve been looking for to improve your health and well being.
