The first time I came into the gallery, I didn’t know how I wanted to frame my antique fan. With Ron’s help, it turned out better than I ever expected. The second time I brought in a piece for framing, I thought I knew what I wanted. After working with Ron with mats and frames, we came up with the desired look that really made my picture look great. Now when people come over, they actually look at the artwork on the walls because they are so unique and beautiful. I have had many pieces framed here and found the experience both creative and fun.

I stopped in here looking for a gift for my wife for Christmas. I don’t know much about buying art and I was still wearing construction clothes as I stopped on the way home from work, but the owner was extremely helpful and cordial. They have a great variety of pieces at a range of prices. I ended up buying two original oil paintings and will definitely be back. Extremely positive and fun experience.

Great little gallery to stop in and check out some very reasonably priced artwork. Lots of variety here to choose from and the staff, well, the owner(I believe) is very helpful but only on YOUR terms. In other words, he’ll ask you if he can help you with anything, then just let you browse untethered until you have any questions or are ready to buy. A HUGE plus in my book. I’ve stopped here a few times in the past few years and have seen a couple of prints I’d definitely like to hang in my home. Once the economy gets a little better, I’ll be back to see if they’re still there. I’ll give them four stars for now… five if they ever have any openings or events. If you’re in Chicago, I can’t say I’d recommend a trip down solely for Wildwood’s selection, but if you’re in the general vicinity, definitely stop in and look around a while. You may find a sculpture, canvas or print that says«I’m exactly what you’ve been looking for!» After all, with art, you just never know!
