Lockport Pub

The new management here has improved everything. The food and the service are really great. I love the Lockport Pub Special Sub. The tacos are more like burritos. Good beef on weck. All in all, a great place. Much improved!
I am editing my review. After witnessing some extremely unprofessional behavior here, I cannot recommend this restaurant.

Given the date on the previous reviews, and that last time I was here, this was Finnan’s, I don’t know if we are reviewing the same place. My friend brought me here explaining he’d received a flyer that everything was supposedly hand-​made.
Both times now I’ve been there and I can say that it seems that many things are hand made. I had a burger which I found to be pretty good, seasoned, hand pressed sort of thing. Chicken fingers were hand breaded and spiced cutlets. The sauce with the pizza logs and mozz wedges (yes they are $ 7 for 4 of these things) was a hand done «sauce».
The place doesn’t seem to get a lot of business, and they don’t have much staff on, but the food has been pretty good. Given what’s in the area it’s not bad at all, and, again, given the volume, it’s pretty light on the service but not inattentive. There are much worse places. Try it out for yourself. For pub foods, it was pretty good, and we’ll probably be back up there if we’re in LP for casual dining.

Decided to try this new restaurant/​bar out a couple of weekends ago. Such a disappointment! Not only was the service absolutely terrible, the food was just not good either. We had a party of 6 and I am not exaggerating when I say the waitress brought out one person’s dish about every 7 minutes. So by the time the last person received their food, the first was done eating. We mentioned this in passing and we’re told that this was because everything is made to order. (If you say so…)
Probably won’t be back.

Awful. Had the recommended Pub Burger while my wife had the ‘winner, winner turkey dinner’. We started out with 4 tiny mozzarella ‘wedges’. Good but not for $ 7. Waitress didn’t know any of the menu. The burger seemed like it might have been rotten and they tried to cover that with pepper. All you could taste was something funky and loads of pepper. My wife’s turkey dinner was pan fried, sliced lunch meat turkey (for $ 12?!). You can read my other reviews, I’m not out to give any place a bad rap, but this place was just an awful experience. I’ve been sick to my stomach since last night, because of it.
