Ordered the burrito plate which was ok. Could have had a better side such as Mexican rice. Seasoning was off. Nice atmosphere friendly and prompt service. I would come back to try their bread. Served only on weekends.

Reyna’s Mexican Bakery is a hidden gem located a couple of blocks off the square in Lockhart. It’s a charming little breakfast place with large windows fronting the sidewalk. You’re able to sit down for a home-style Mexican breakfast or just pick out a pastry from the display case. We did both. The migas plate at Reyna’s was balanced and delicious. The cherry-filled pan dulce coated in cinnamon and sugar was so good I had to ask for another. Great coffee as well. The place appears to be family owned. The customer service was the friendliest I’ve experienced in quite some time. I’ll be back to try out the rest of the menu.

Best TexMex breakfast & bakery in Lockhart! Hands down! Great salsa’s & tortillas. Customer service is always very good. Very friendly staff. Note to tourists. this is not a quick taco stand! Each plate or taco are lovingly prepared. So relax and enjoy!

Even tho they’ve been here for years, this is the first time my husband and I have tried this place. Their breakfast tacos and rancheros were on point. And their pastries! So good, and cheap! Would definitely come again when I’m back in town.

I worked in Lockhart for 3.5 years while we were building SH130 and this was a regular stop for breakfast and sometimes lunch. It’s the only thing I miss about Lockhart!

The chillequieles with eggs over easy is an excellent breakfast. I recommend trying it with once with the ranchero sauce. It’s i little less spicy than the verde salsa(and I tend to go for the spicier salsas) but I love the flavor. The real gem, for me, here is the migas plate. They have, by far the best migas out of any place in South Austin, Buda, Kyle, San Marcos, or Lockhart. Beyond the meals, the staff is incredibly friendly and the prices are great.

Ok food Hard pastries I went alone for breakfast there was one woman up front who took my order she seemed to provide great service to all the other people in there as for myself she could have cared less especially because I paid first I guess. The food is what expect in cheap texmex breakfast. I read the reviws and just dont see it.

Loved this place. We were in town for the Lone Star Grand Prix and ended up pitting right in front of this place. I had the enchiladas with verde sauce which was amazing. The verde is homemade and delicious. You get three enchiladas plus beans and rice for $ 6. It’s a very generous serving. Their guacamole is yummy, too. They have several bakery items available in addition to the many items for breakfast and lunch on the menu. Talked to lots of people that grabbed breakfast or lunch there over the weekend and heard nothing but universal praise.

When we hit the road, we are always on the look out for these little«Local Joints» and this did not disappoint. It was busy with LockHart folks on this cold morning and the staff was super friendly, which seamed to be all family. Eggs, bacon and potatoes for the wife and Migas for myself. Everything was hot and fresh. Migas was spot on, and the beans were a tasty treat. Taters needed a little salt, but they were cooked thru. Bacon was small, but had some good flavor. The big thing that caught our attention was the tortilla’s, Man these were Good… think, hot, fresh with just a «bit“of sweetness. All together, very inviting, with some great food.

As a lover of Mexican food, breakfast, breakfast tacos, and pastries, I am easily drawn to Mexican bakeries. Reyna’s is easily one of the best. The migas were absolutely perfect. The tortillas taste homemade and are wonderfully fresh. Excellent salsa and the prices are great! The wide variety of pastries looked really good. I had the little shortbread cookies, which were wonderful. Don’t miss Reyna’s! Come early, they close at 1 on weekends and 2 on weekdays.

We love this place. It’s just off the square in Lockhart We eat breakfast or lunch here twice a month. I love the Huevos Rancheros, Huevos Mexicanos, and the taco plate(3 for $ 2.75). Great salsa, homemade tortillas, friendly family service. Ricardo gives great service, really nice kid, usually works Saturdays. The flaky palm shaped pastries are delicious. I’d skip the biscuits and gravy, though, that was the only thing I found disappointing.
