All the reviews said that this place sucks, but I found it quite nice actually! Went at approx. 4:30pm on a Saturday and ordered several items for a hungry car full of hikers and within just FIVE minutes our carhop came out with a tray full of food for us! I got the Sonic cheeseburger as an afternoon pick-me-up and it sure did hit the spot, but the French fries were a tad too salty/over-seasoned for my liking. Will be sure to come back the next time I am in the area.

I visit a sonic in another city daily. I have visited sonic’s in several cities. The sonic in Llano continues to disappoint. I have been to this sonic numerous times and it’s a bad experience from start to finish. They are the WORST sonic I have ever visited. Don’t bother! Even with one other customer in the parking lot they will take 10 minutes to come on the speaker to take your order then they will take another twenty minutes to bring out a simple order. Then when you wait ALL this time they will take your money and run. You will then discover they have left a item off and then you start all over again. Also don’t bother to ask to see a manager on duty it WON’T happen. They already have taken your money and they don’t care about customer service. The employees were inside talking on their phones and laughing and standing around. I’m surprised this sonic haven’t went out of business after the service I have gotten there. I would think twice about visiting this sonic. Got a call from a women who said she was a district manager for sonic. She said they were trying to improve this sonic and offered to send a $ 10.00 gift card for the food I paid for and never got. It’s been almost three weeks and I never received the gift card promised by the manager. This probably explains why the llano sonic has bad customer service starting with the managers who are in charge.

I wouldn’t normally rate a place at one star. However, this Sonic Drive In has been despicable for the last few weeks. I am the only car here and it took 18 minutes for them to take my order. Other recent trips to this location have also resulted in tremendously long wait times, either to place an order or receive one. I can see at least 5 people inside the location and no one has made an effort to take my order.

I just must say that if you order something from this Sonic and they accidentally mess your order up by forgetting to bring out about half the items you ordered and paid for, don’t expect the missing items to be brought out any sooner than 20 – 30 minutes. I kid you not. I was just about to push the button again to ask them what’s taking so long and about that time, a girl handed me a bag and she scurried off. I then had to ask for straws for the 4 drinks I ordered… that was like pulling teeth to get… but, we did eventually get everything… and by that time… everything was cold. I know mistakes happen, but, that was a little much. I wouldn’t say everyone’s experience will be the same as mine was today, but, I just don’t like the way things were handled… just saying.
