I’ve eaten here 3 or 4 times over the last few months. Decent Tex-Mex at a reasonable price. Food presentation is nice, but service can be spotty. Still, it’s the best Tex-Mex in Llano…

Food quality has gone down hill, we’re from Austin and we travel all over Texas and love stopping by little towns and been here once before and love it. But now the food had no flavor and the kitchen messed up on my daughters plate twice, which ok, it happens wasn’t mad. But when I went to pay, I’m assuming is the owner. I saw him talking to our waitress and going at it with the calculator, so I just had a feeling that this guy is going to charge us for the mistakes his kitchen made to make up for the food cost that they just lost. And yes he was charging us two extra plates! I told him it wasn’t our fault our order came out wrong, so he had to redo it. I just think that is so shady and for that I will not be returning here and won’t be recommending it to any one in the future.

The food and service is very good, and very consistent. 2 things I love. I know when I go in, exactly what my visit will be, and I appreciate that. Everything I have ever ordered is amazing. The staff is extremely friendly. LOVEIT.

This place definitely won’t get any awards for coziness, that’s for sure. Besides that the food was OK but not exceptional. There are not that many options in Llano, so if you do end up there this is not necessarily a bad choice. It might actually be the best choice for all I know, but don’t expect a revelation, just OK but not exceptional Mexican food.

Can’t give zero stars. Don’t know where to start… Slow service. Wilted lettuce, mushy tomatoes, greasy meat, cheese wasn’t melted, mediocre beans, rice not cooked, stale tea, odd tasting chips, decent salsa. Taquitos had ground beef, not shredded beef. Way over priced for what you got. Meat was bland, no seasoning. Will not go back there.

Passing through llano on a Tuesday afternoon and was beginning to get hungry. I decided to come here and I was not disappointed. I came in and was quickly seated. There were plenty of open tables. They kind of rushed on taking my order but I did get my food really fast. It was simply delicious. If you are looking for a place in llano you will not regret coming to Rita’s.

We were passing through on a Monday so this is where we ate for lunch. We stood inside the door waiting to be seated and were told by a waitress that we were in the way. Bathrooms are outside and what you would expect from outside bathrooms — dirty and neglected. We had to ask for our chips to be refilled. The food was ok. I’ve definitely had much worse, but nothing to write home about. My husband said his cheese enchiladas flavorless and my chicken fajitas had a strange sweet flavor to them. The bright note is their guacamole. It was excellent.

I really couldn’t find anything impressive about this place. I came to grab a quick bite after my daughters band concert tonight. The atmosphere is wide open and super noisy. There can’t be an absorptive surface in there, almost like a loud gymnasium. I ordered Rosy’s steak nachos. The nachos were thin chips on a plate, slathered in refried beans, top with pieces of steak fajita and white cheese then cooked in the oven. This style would be good if the chips were substantial enough to not be soggy. The first bite I took I was in total disbelief as to the lack of flavor. The meat had almost no flavor, kinda like an unseasoned, chewy steak sliced up. The beans had little flavor as well. Then, of coarse the chips were soggy. I never saw my waitress again after she dropped off my food. Food was bland, service was marginal at best & the loud/noisy environment was almost unbearable. This restaurant won’t on my try again list.

Only restaurant open on Monday in Llano so its always packed; food is good but no beer is served. Staff is friendly but overwhelmed. Very noisy with bad acoustics so be prepared. After all, it is Llano.

This is my wife’s favorite place to eat in the world. She loves the mini-steak taquitos. I really like the al pastor with pineapple. Mom loves the green chili enchilada & dad loves the Rosita’s special. The chips and salsa are yummy, especially with a order of queso and guacamole. They don’t mind brewing coffee for me for dinner or supper either.

Guacamole was great. The taco and chi laps good and the enchilada fair. Service was great as usual. I am here frequently as I travel and prefer to support family owned and operated businesses.

I try to eat at Rosita’s every time I am in Llano. The food is very good and the staff friendly and efficient. I have a hard time ordering anything other than the La Bandera because I like it so much. It is the beef, cheese, and chicken enchiladas and is very good. A good meal that won’t break the bank.
