Awesome environment and awesome ambiance. My and my girlfriend decided to go here because of a great reservation deal that we came across. It was my first time attending a restaurant with prices like such but it was definitely a great experience. The steak was the most tender steak I’ve ever had! The downside… a lack of flavor… The sides were intense and really good flavor. Best part of the meal. Overall, I’d recommend it if you have some extra cash but don’t expect life changing taste!

One of the best steaks I have ever had. You also have to try the seafood tower and the molten lava cake. Service was excellent also.

My boyfriend and I came here for our five year anniversary yesterday with high expectations that were met! We always look into places before we go to eat so we were aware that sides do not come with many entrees and the sides cost at a min $ 10. I believe our waiter’s name was James and he was very helpful. He told us what he recommended and even what he thinks we should stay clear from which was very nice. My boyfriend and I got their filet mignon(one medium well the other medium) a side of flemings potatoes and their chipotle mac and cheese. Their complimentary bread was very good and the steaks met our expectation. They made my boyfriends steak medium rare which wasn’t a big deal for us because he likes his steak any way but when James offered to make a new one and my boyfriend declined in James came back with a free dessert! Our potatoes were amazing and the mac and cheese was alright but I would probably order something else next time I go. The cheesecake was really good as well. When we paid for our bill James came back apologizing and said he forgot to ask if we came for a special occasion and when we said yes he ran away and came back with a box of truffles and a $ 25 gift card. I think the gift card was an apology for being a little forgetful but waitressing once myself I know what it is like to keep messing up on one table so I wasn’t mad at all. Overall the food was amazing and our server was extremely helpful and nice. I will be back!

Celebrated my 30th birthday here last night with 15 of my closest friends and there isn’t a single thing I could complain about. We had a semi-private room, the ambiance was perfect. Drinks were so yummy and the food– out of this world! I had a Caesar salad, and Oscar filet and I split some sides with friends such as the asparagus, truffle potatoes and Mac & Cheese. Everything was cooked perfectly! Our service was top notch as well! They were incredibly attentive and genuinely kind. Before we left they gave me a $ 25 gift card to come back and a box of homemade truffles for my birthday. We will ABSOLUTELY be back to this restaurant. Yes, it is pricey but you get what you pay for and honestly it was completely worth every dime!

My husband & I enjoyed their Sunday Brunch(11a.m.-2p.m.) today and loved it! The atmosphere is great and our server, Holly, was outstanding! She knew so much about the menu & answered all our questions too! My husband wanted to make a substitution so Holly went and asked the Chef if it could be done… Holly came back to our table & said«whatever will make the customer happy, I’ll do» Chef said! So, instead of the Chicken & Waffles my husband had Chicken & Pancakes! It was delicious! I had the New England Lobster Roll(which came with homemade seasoned potato chips). The sandwich & chips are SO good! I also ordered a side of Fleming Potatoes because I didn’t realize I was getting the chips. These are a signature side & very delicious! I even left with leftovers for lunch! We live in Howell, so we won’t be dining there a lot but we will plan on another great dining experience in the future!

Filet was dry. This place is WAY overpriced. They think they are Capital Grille or Ruth’s Chris but they are nowhere near their quality. Truth is Bonefish is the best in their family and half the price. Completely not worth it. Dessert lava cake was good. That’s why 2 stars.

Meh… Nice place, great wine list. Beer list is nothing special. Food was ok. Steak and asparagus were warm while the potatoes were HOT — speaking of potatoes… They were ok. Needed salt. The service attempted to be good but he explained the menu twice, practically word for word, and he seemed too busy to deal with us. Walking away after asking a question and not waiting for the answer. «Would you like more bread?» And gone before I could say no and then more bread, that I ate, but didn’t want. When I asked what the spreads were he told me what they were called and was walking away before he really even finished and before I could ask another question. The food was pricey and not worth it. $ 40 for a 6 oz filet that had little flavor, I could have done better at home. It was meh at best and not worth the money. I was not impressed. At all.

Came here for dinner on Saturday with the wife and a couple friends. The service is excellent and what you would expect from a high-end steakhouse. Ditto for the food. I went with the filet and lobster tail special which started with a crab empanada that was absolutely delicious. Fresh crab meat in a hot, soft dough served over cheesy grits. The caeser salad was so tasty and had prosciutto chips sprinkled on top which complemented the salad perfectly and gave it a nice, salty bite. My filet was cooked perfectly and had a delicious rub on it. The lobster tail was excellent and didn’t need any of the butter they served with it. The bar had an excellent whiskey selection and my rye manhattan was as good as any I’ve had. My only complaint with the Livonia Fleming’s is that it feels more like a casual chain restaurant instead of an über high end steakhouse. Part of the reason is the main dining room is enormous and loud which takes away from the ambiance and intimacy most nicer restaurants have. But the main reason why Fleming’s feels more lower end than it is has nothing to do with the restaurant but it’s patrons. We came on a Saturday night and I was very surprised to see most patrons wearing jeans. I’m sorry, but I don’t think that’s appropriate for a restaurant of this caliber. I was wearing a sport coat to a dinner I easily dropped $ 200 at and felt out of place and overdressed. Something is seriously wrong with that picture. /end old man rant Overall, the food and service are as good as you’ll find at any high end steakhouse. But if I’m dropping 200 – 300 bucks on dinner and drinks, it needs to feel exceptional and the ambiance is a big part of that. Since I can’t give 3.5 stars I’m giving 3 because with their prices, the dining experience should be 5 star in every aspect. Eating at Fleming’s feels more Olive Garden and less London Chop House.

I was pleasantly surprised when I came here for their late happy hour. Because of President’s Day, they allowed us to order from both happy hour menus just to be nice. Their blueberry lemon drop martini is so yummy that it’s dangerous and the happy hour food choices are huge. I will definitely be going back next time I’m in town!

We were not fans of Flemings. The bread was great. Our pork belly app was pretty good. We each got steaks — I tried the filet and he had the wagyu strip. They were properly cooked and seasoned but when the $ 160 bill came, neither of us were impressed enough to warrant returning. I think the steaks would have been better with one of their toppings but the server didn’t even offer. Overall I wasn’t impressed and can find far better places to spend my money.

This steakhouse is kept from 5 stars only because they do not do good seafood. If you entire group want’s a steak then by all means this is a great place. Pricey but your steak shouldn’t disappoint. My advise to Flemings is either kill the shellfish offerings altogether or get your chef some seafood advice. Fish isn’t bad but stay away from the shellfish, it is dry and lacking flavor. On a much more positive note, the happy hour offerings in the bar area are amazing. The Housemade Burrata is really a treat. They have a 5 for $ 6 till 7pm menu and an 8 for $ 9 till 10pm menu that keeps the bar area a popular destination. The atmosphere is very nice and the wait staff and bartenders have always been great. This is a great choice for a special occasion. Most everything is a la carte.

My wife and I each had the Wagyu NY strip with the kona coffee rub, truffle mashed potatoes, and creamed spinach. The steaks were perfectly done(medium rare and rare, respectively) with enough rub to bring out the flavor without overpowering the tender, juicy meat. The potatoes had just a hint of truffle, and were mashed exactly how I love them: still a few chunks of potato in a whipped, not-too-creamy base. The creamed spinach was quite good, although I felt the cheese was more than was necessary. The mushroom ravioli starter was light, and paired nicely with excellent parmesan bread and infused cheeses. The service was impeccable, and our server was on top of things throughout the meal despite having a number of tables. All of this comes at a cost, though. Our meal, one appetizer, two steaks, two sides, two cocktails, and one desert ran a little above $ 220…100% worth it in my opinion. We’ll definitely be back; a meal as good or better than Morton’s or The Palm, but closer and with better ambiance.

This place won me over when I found out that they actually serve beef carpaccio. Any place that serves that, and does it well as Flemings does, then the rest of the menu is going to be good. We go there from time to time for the happy hour or late night specials. Kristie is by far the best server there, happy to have her take care of us and ask for her when ever we go. She knows the wine list inside and out along with the menu.

1st, let me recommend that you request to be served by Holly. She is the best waitress I’ve had the pleasure of dining by. She was pleasantly curtious, without being overbearing. She was friendly, without being awkward or clumsy. She was engaging, without being pesty or irrelevant. She was attentive & knowledgeable about menu, history of Flemings, & helpful. The food is priced appropriately to the quality of food & sufficiently proportioned. Being that I am a hospice caregiver, & was scheduled by the family to celebrate my clients 64th wedding anniversary with them(client, wife, son, son’s wife), while on duty, I had no opportunity to take pics, as that would’ve been rude. The food & drinks were Exellant. Items ordered were 3 petite filets, 1 salmon, 1 braised beef rib over fresh spinach, onion rings, french fries, creamed spinach, crème brule, donut platter, decaf & regular coffee. All were superb, fresh, and refilled without notice. The prices were $$$, but welll so. Quality & quantity appropriately represented the portion & taste. The décor is modern sheik. The lighting is very low. Floors, bathroom, & kitchen are clean & comfortable! And, being well staffed, even during slow hour is impressive. Valet parking is flawless & not desperate for business. Valet attendants are gracious & acommedating. So, bring cash tip to show appreciation for their«A-1» service. They serve wine by the quarter, half, full glass, & bottle portions. Mixed cocktails are blended well, not to mention tasty! In conclusion, I encourage you to dine, celebrate, & entertain at this Fine Establishment!!! Bön Appétit~ xoxo

I’ve never been to an upscale restaurant where I felt for the price paid, the service and food was 100% worth it. That is, until Flemings. We went there for a special preview before they opened and have been back many times since. Our«go-to» place when we want excellent food and excellent service. Some upscale restaurants have left me wondering why I paid so much for so little. With Flemings, while not a cheap meal, the price is equally reflected of the overall quality. Worth ever penny every time we go there. If you’re looking to spend a little extra for dinner, this is the place. Literally, the only knock on this place I have at all is they don’t have Tiramisu on the dessert menu. But that’s just me. It’s my favorite dessert and would complement my favorite meal at my favorite place perfectly.

I had a GREAT dinner experience here. The service was perfect, we didn’t have to wait but didn’t get pestered either. The bread is good and they have two different tasty spreads. I wanted to save room for dessert so I skipped the appetizers. I ordered the craft mans ribeye medium rare. It was cooked perfect, and had such good flavor. I also ordered their asparagus but the asparagus was only so-so, it wasn’t as I would have liked it and didn’t have much flavor. Our server highly recommend their chocolate lava cake. You have to give them some time because the cook it when it’s ordered. It was amazing! The best lava cake I’ve had and very rich. It was definitely enough to share for two people. This was definitely one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time!

Thoroughly enjoyed my first experience here as a guest for a party of 20 in a private room. Service was top notched and friendly, not as formal/stuffy as you’d think upon walking in. We had a limited menu to choose from but I would definitely order my meal again should I have the opportunity to come back. Starting with the modern caesar salad(hearts of romaine, parmesan, fried capers, crisp proscuitto chips) to start. Perfectly portioned and full of flavor, highly recommend. For my main I selected the filet mignon prepared medium rare. It was cooked to perfection, simply seasoned and juicy; all characteristics that I would expect in a filet but haven’t experienced at a steakhouse in quite some time. Sides of creamed spinach, Fleming’s potatoes, and grilled asparagus were served family style. All were really yummy but the potatoes were by far the best. The menu describes them as a «house specialty with cream, jalapeños and cheddar cheese». I didn’t taste jalapeños so don’t be scared off by the potential heat because there really isn’t any. My meal was complete with a slice of carrot cake. It is quite possibly the best and most moist carrot cake I’ve ever had. I would consider coming back even if it was just for this slice of heaven again.

I was very fortunate to go to a sponsored dinner in a private room here. The service was very helpful and fast. The set menu gave us some great options. The sides were creamed spinach and mashed potatoes; both were very good and we ate them all! The only down fall was that the steaks were undercooked. Anybody ordering medium received a rare steak. It was still delicious, just not cooked as ordered. Of course I’d go again!
