H&M

This truly is THE WORST H AND M IN NEW JERSEY. The store ALWAYS looks frumpy and unkept. The selection is very, very poor! I’d rather shop online. The customer service is NON EXISTANT. Everytime I go in I leave with nothing cause they keepthat store like a teen boy’s room, DIRTY, TRASHED, UNKEPT AND CONFUSING. I rather go to H and M all the way in Jersey Gardens Mall or to NYC…

This H&M is absolutely awful. I LOVE H&M, so this review is strictly regarding this branch’s employees. I have not had a problem with any other H&M stores I’ve been to.
I went today, which was a Tuesday afternoon – it was NOT busy. There were only a few other shoppers around, so there shouldn’t have been too much to handle with customer service. The dressing rooms were a disaster. When I went to the dressing room, I was the only one so I had a peek into each room, and they were all the same. There were tons of clothes hanging on the pegs, and a pile on the benches. It was a mess. I felt so rushed to get out of them because it was so uncomfortably messy.
While I was shopping, this employee was so rude when she was trying to get around me while I was shifting through a rack. The workers didn’t look busy at all and were just standing around and gossipping… which is fine, but… could you talk while cleaning up the damn dressing rooms? After about an hour of perusing the clothes, I ended up with two basic tank tops that I wanted to purchase.
I went up to the cashier. There was a girl standing there. When she saw me, she said «Oh sorry» (not all that sincerely either) and languidly walked away with some kind of small booklet in hand. I watched her walk aimlessly in a circle, really accomplishing nothing, and the last thing on her mind was coming back to help me. I just walked out after a couple minutes of watching her walk around in circles. Like, the slowest circles a person could possible walk.
I was SO ANNOYED with my whole shopping experience here.
