Got the shrimp salad, asked for fried and got grilled. The salad is $ 7 and came in a small container with maybe 8 small shrimp, very disappointed. Stick with the burger and fries if you order here.

Typical small town greasy spoon here. Food is consistent, service is slow & parking is a pain. That said, their burgers are pretty good. They do have the crushed ice that everyone in my household loves. Perfect for a hot day. My youngest likes the catfish and my oldest likes the hamburger po’boy. Their fries come unsalted which I like — so when you order be sure to ask for salt.

Food here is pretty consistent and decent. Prices aren’t bad, but they only accept cash. I usually stop here on my way through Livingston to pick up a treat, but service is slow and the employees are rude unless they know you!

Nice people and a nice place to eat. But watch out for the pricks that come from out of town that think there better than everyone else.

Livingston, oh Livingston. When in this small backwoods town in Louisiana, I can’t help but think of the movie My Cousin Vinny when Ralph Macchio & his buddy get framed for murder. Yeah, there really isn’t a town, and it’s sort of a depressing place. There are only a few dining options here, and I’ve just about explored all of them. This evening it was G&J. I’ve actually had some of their po’ boys before(work would take large to-go lunch orders). Tonight I went on by to eat at their establishment. It was about 8pm, and this place was the happening place in good olé downtown Livingston. I went with a shrimp po’ boy, tater tots, and a soda. The food was good, and the cultural experience was something worth Unilocaling. So, if anyone of ya’ll happen to be in Livingston, LA — not sure why! — this is an option for some good olé southern dining.
