Have been going here for over 15 years. Donald is a whiz with my hair and gives me the best blowouts ever. Chris has been cutting my husbands hair for years as well and now cuts my 3 year old sons hair. He is very patient and great with him. Michelle does my waxing — she is a pro with my eyebrows. Couldn’t imagine going anywhere else.

Amazing salon, super welcoming. Everyone there really knows what their doing, what’s best for your hair and how to make you leave the salon looking like a celebrity! I went my first time to get very subtle balayage highlights and loved it. Tori is the colorist that did my hair and she was amazing and SUPER sweet. I originally wanted to go more blonde but I told her to do her thing since she knows best and the results were beautiful, better than I wanted! She didn’t let my hair get brassy or anything, it’s a very soft caramel type of balayage with some very dark blonde streaks here and there. If you want your hair colored I definitely suggest Tori, although I’m sure the others are just as wonderful! Can’t wait to go back to go lighter, it’s super addicting once you get it done the first time! Even going there for my prom hair :) I added some pictures to show you guys the before and after :)

My sister convinced me to go to this salon as per her co workers recommendation. At first I was skeptical because this place is far from my home in queens and the Unilocal reviews weren’t too good. Regardless, I set aside my reservations and tagged along for the ride. Boy was I glad I did. Amanda was my stylist and did an amazing job cutting my hair into layers and blow drying it. She left me with great volume and I am absolutely obsessed with my new hair cut! She listened to me and consulted me before during and after to make sure I was satisfied. I recommend this salon the customer service was great. I was seen at the time of my appointment which means everything to me. The haircut and blow dry cost me $ 65. It is a bit pricey but if you won’t be let down!

Very disappointing experience all around. I had my haircut with Tina. Never met her before. She was a nice lady but I left with a butchered cut. The back of my hair is square and my sides are poofy and round. There’s no symmetry and the haircut doesn’t flatter me at all. I’ll have to wait many weeks to get it corrected. $ 120 without tip for a haircut and dissatisfied. The salon is very dated inside. For the money I spent, I expect coffee, tea, snacks to be offered and ultra cleanliness. Everything looks very 1990s. I don’t normally care about appearances as long as the haircut is amazing. But this was far from amazing. I should have trusted my gut when I walked in. The staff wasn’t friendly at the front desk. The parking sucked. And here I am with a bad haircut. I expect NYC upkeep and style for a NYC priced haircut.

I have been going here for the past year and a half now to get my eyebrows waxed. Michelle is amazing!!! The place is clean and nice. It’s pricey but well worth it, she spends a lot of time planning out a good eyebrow shape and uses wax that won’t make you break out. The front desk can be a little rude but the salon staff is friendly overall

This establishment first charged me $ 35 for a haircut (a man’s haircut since I have extremely short hair). It’s more money than I usually pay but the staff was nice so I returned for a trim. After my second cut they told me the price was $ 70 because I am a woman not a man. I am part of the LGBT community, the manager Laceille (probably spelled wrong) claimed she doesn’t recognize that, she goes by first name and it happens to be Melissa «which is a girl’s name».
I am in shock and disgusted at this establishment. My hair is shaved on the sides and two to three inches on the top, I wear men’s clothes. Yet because my name is Melissa they are allowed to charge me double.

What an absolutely amazing experience getting my lash extensions done by Camila!!! I’m obsessed and the best part is I won’t need to use mascara while on the cruise this week. She’s so friendly, personable, and professional! If you’ve never had lash extensions before please do yourself a favor and make an appointment with her– I promise you will NOT be disappointed :)

I’ve been getting my hair cut here for years and I always walk away with a smile. I’ve only ever had my hair cut by Karen, so I can’t vouch for any other stylists. Karen is the best stylist I’ve ever had — my mother, aunt and two cousins also go to her! She’s young and hip and has so much style. She knows what’s up.
Antonio’s is classy and with classiness comes price, but the price is 100% worth it.

I left a review for this business a few months ago, and I see it has been removed. I received the worst haircut of my life here. The woman who cut my hair made snide and nasty remarks the whole time I was there. She asked me if I cried when I got my haircut before because it «was so bad» and when I told her what I wanted her to do, she kept saying how she thought that was «unattractive». She was so rude that for the first time in my life I didn’t even tip. She commented on how surprising it is that I’m so gray and she pulled the little hair that grows in front my of ears and said «where did this come from? have you always had this?». It was a horrible experience and I left feeling cheated out of a lot of money and feeling very insulted. I was scheduled to have a pedicure after, but I was so embarrassed I just left.

Great salon in the heart of Livingston. The salon itself has skilled stylists, some of which specialize in curly hair. There is a separate coloring area and a separate nail salon area within the salon. The owner works on-​site as to his sons so you can be sure to be treated well while there.

I went to antonios to get rid of the triangle effect my last hair cut had given me– so the stylist gave me the ouidad hair cut– let me just say I have 3b hair and I have no problem with volume. But this hair cut thinned out my hair so much from the midshaft down that I want to go to devachan and chop it all off now. Not only that but the stylist was very shy with product and tried to tell me how to style my hair wen she clearly wasn’t doing a good job at it– 1 size does not fit all. I like ouidads gel a lot but I do not recommend the carve and slice technique. I didn’t feel they had a true understanding of curls.

If you’re a Ouidad girl and you live in N Jersey don’t hesitate. I couldn’t handle the
commute to midtown anymore. I am very pleased with my Ouidad cut. Samantha is experienced and has the technique down perfectly. Thanks Samantha!

Don’t let the fact that the inattentive front desk is always on the phone and that you may get a busy signal (yes they still exist) when you call for an appointment. Ask for Rima, you will not be disappointed (with Rima)
