Brought in a suit for alterations. Was told it would be ready for pickup on a specific date. Went back on that specific date. Suit wasn’t ready.
It gets worse.
Was told to come back in 20 minutes. Suit altered poorly in that narrow time frame. Hole made in jacket during hurried alterations. Sewn shut with two very conspicuous stitches. Suit unwearable.
Avoid. Evade. Wear off the rack.

I had a gown I purchased off the rack altered for a wedding. Martha was very accommodating, did a great job, and the price was more than reasonable. I wouldn’t hesitate to go to Martha again for any alterations I need done — many people were in and out of the shop having regular clothes (casual shirts, jeans, shorts, etc.) altered — which surprised me at first, then made me realize that this shop is the real deal. I’m sure you won’t be disappointed if you go to Martha for alterations of any kind!
