This is an older courthouse and doesn’t appear to be updated… appears that they have added on to it in the back so that they have ample room for the Clerk of Court office… This courthouse is truly a maze and if you walk in the main door which fronts on Iowa Street then be prepared for a maze if you’re looking for the Clerk’s office and some of the courtrooms… My suggestion to navigate this building a little more easily is to go to Iowa Street then turn on South Magnolia and go to back of courthouse and enter thru a more open entrance that puts you right by the Clerk’s office and navigation will be much more manageable… ample parking in the back plus they have a gravel lot you can use plus another gravel lot off of Iowa Street. Haven’t had the opportunity to check out the courtrooms themselves but when I do I’ll add a postscript PS Coming in the back way, yeah I said it, puts you right by Courtrooms #s 1&2. Gotta do the metal detector dance to get into either of these rooms so I figure they’re mainly used to handle the criminal element… to get to Courtroom #3, which I was in recently, you work the rat maze backwards to the front doors… smallish courtroom but it has aged nicely… the funny thing is the spectator benches look uncomfortable as hell but oddly they are extremely comfy
