I couldn’t give a 5⁄5 because I’m writing 2 reviews here– First — I would give Erika from Bath/Kitchen — 5⁄5! She was absolutely fantastic! During Memorial Day Weekend we were shopping for all new appliances(stove, hood, dishwasher, fridge, washer, and dryer). We learned that Best Buy was having a pretty amazing deal on Samsung products– when we went to Home Depot to compare we mentioned it and she said they would price match! Not only that but she made the entire process super easy– fast forward to deliver and we noticed a dent in the freezer and a missing kick plate but these were quickly resolved by her once we called it in. The service that the bath and kitchen personnel give there is amazing and we are so thankful that they were able to help us during this Reno time! We also appreciate all those in the paint section as they are also very quick and courteous! My most recent experience is not the best; once again we were there to purchase pretty pricey items– this time lawn and garden materials(lawn mower, weed whacker, leaf blower, propane, rakes, spreader fertilizer etc etc etc). We were the first ones in the store and spent maybe 40 minutes choosing our items with no help– another customer was kind enough to explain the different mowers and options available to us! Thank goodness that random customer was there to help us. We made our way to the register to be greeted by a young lady whom was clearly not happy to be helping us– when I inquired about a shed she seemed so bothered by it. She turn and rudely asked if I «even knew the name of the shed». I informed her that I did indeed know the name and sku number which she didn’t reply and just turned her back to make a phone call. We were then informed that we would need a permit(which we did not know since we are just moving into this area and don’t know the ins and outs as of yet). She then sent us to the customer service desk in which they were slightly more helpful. All in all once we get this permit I probably won’t return to Home Depot for this product just because I have such a bad taste in my mouth from her. I’ll make my way across the street to Lowes for that one– but I’ll stick with Erika in kitchen/bath for those products. You’d think that when you bring a cart full of products worth over $ 1300 they might be a little nicer– UPDATE8÷10÷15: After several conversations with the store manager and Devante we are pleased to increase the rating we originally gave(original 3⁄5) Devante and the store manager both apologized and addressed the situation and worked with us. I am so glad that although we experienced a pretty sour attitude the company realizes how important each customers satisfaction is! We are very appreciative of both the store manager and Devante! Thank you for taking the time to make things right :)

My experience with customer service here is horrendous. I thought that establishments such as this were all about helping the customers get what they need, but apparently not. First off, my boyfriend and I went to rent a tiller to till our garden. When we got to the tool renting area there was no one at the desk, so we waited, figuring there was someone else being helped. We waited ten minutes before the guy actually came back and apparently he was just seeing if a tool would fit in the customer’s car. The employee did not acknowledge us at all, and stood in the doorway talking to his customer for another ten minutes about non tool related things. Now, a line starts to form of about three other people besides us waiting to rent tools, and this employee is still talking to the man, not acknowledging any one of us waiting. We waited 25 more minutes for the man to finish his previous job but he got nothing done but catching up with an old friend while customers are waiting, so we left. It would have been nice to at least be acknowledged. Second, my boyfriend decided to give them another shot by buying our garden soil from here. He purchased about 12 bags of soil, and loaded them all himself. Again, not one employee offered to help him lug these ten bags onto the cart, or even out to his car for that matter. So, we will not be going back to this Home Depot, as they have not been of any help for any project we’ve been doing. If you have a big project you need help with, steer clear of this poorly staffed establishment.

Amazing selection of tools to rent big and small. Also their staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. I’ll be back to rent again soon for my next project.

They have tool rental, which is nice, but this particular store has all these threatening mean spirited signs up about how if there’s even a speck of dust on the tools when you return them, you’re going to pay, pay, pay. Unpleasant.

I went in to pick up what was described to me as «heat tape» for the water pipes on my friends trailer. A passing employee asked if I needed help finding anything. When I told him what I needed he didn’t try to correct my verbage, he just said he knew right where it was. Rather than tell me how to find it, he walked me all the way to the other side of the store and pointed right to it. It was actually an electrical cord that wraps around a pipe to keep it warm and prevent the water inside from freezing. I was grateful because I didn’t have a lot of time to search all over for the item. These guys know their stuff and will go out of their way to help you find it.
