Imagine yourself sitting in a movie theater on a big soft couch enjoying a glass of wine and watching a movie, and a pizza is delivered to you at your seat. Or, if it’s a craft beer and a burger you want, you can have that too. Watching sports events at the Vine on the big screen is a lot of fun too.

Our favorite theatre in Livermore and the east bay, Tri-valley area in CA. Now showing X-men Apocalypse! Great service, beer selection and food.

I think this little quaint movie theater is terrific. They play fun«off the wall movies» that you’d typically need to go out of town to see being they aren’t normally«big budget movies» but ARE«highly acclaimed/awarded» and the staff has always been very courteous. I enjoy the«date night outs» with my husband watching movies on their comfy small couches.

Very disappointed. The movie times changed and their website did not update The 1:30 movie started at 1. They sold tickets to us and about 20 other people after 1 and it was a mess

I love The Vine. Great, usually independent, movies, friendly staff and well-priced food/wine that they bring to you while you’re watching the movie. They are available for fun, private events, such as a wedding movie première that I attended. The sing-alongs are an absolute blast! I have done Grease and Mamma Mia song-alongs and it is one of my favorite things to do!

This theatre is a really cool experience! The seating is really different than most movie theatres and some of the seats are actually couches! The selection of films here are very diverse and most of them are independent films that you can’t see anywhere else! I had to rate this theatre four stars though, because my flatbread that I ordered was unfortunately served cold and was completely burned. I have ordered food here before and it was good but it seems that they are inconsistent with the quality of their food. I would still highly recommend checking out this theatre!

The Inland East Bay Area’s Art House. I lived in LA for a number of years and the Vine reminds me of so many great movie theaters down there. Food, beer, and independent cinema right on the south side of Downtown Livermore. Can’t wait to visit again. TIP: follow the vine on social media — they do flashback features and special event screenings all the time.

I love this theater. We attend the annual Oscar festivities, and also go to movies frequently. We love the Zephyr food we can order while we watch our movie. The couches and tabled are super convenient if you’re having food, or beer, or wine– and the Italian sodas are wonderful! I love the art movies the vine brings to Livermore. Many times the Vine is the only place in the area to see these movies, AND they have classic movie nights as well! This place is just a superb asset to Livermore. Check it out!

This is definitely my favorite place to relax and watch a movie. The wine and beer selection is always changing and the food is a good addition to a beer and a movie!

Definitely our favorite movie house and so much more! Kenny does a fantastic job of keeping the theater clean, food fresh and by far the best popcorn in the business.

Love this place, eat, drink, watch a flick. All at the same time, awesome independent films, classics a sprinkle of mainstream films.

I’d like to come here again when it’s not so busy. I came here to see one of their Christmas movies, and we arrived about 30 minutes early. We should have gotten here earlier, it took us about 25 minutes to get through the food line, and by the time we got into the theater, almost all of the seats were taken, so we had to squeeze into the 3rd row. The seats were a little small, but there was plenty of leg room. However the staff was very friendly, the manager came up and gave some fun facts about the movie before it started. And no previews! The food was really good, but expensive for the portion sizes. However I’m sure the price is slightly marked up from what Zypher charges, so I can’t hold this against the Vine.

I love this theatre. They carry a decent selection of wine and beer. Although, their wine list could do with some revamping. The selection of movies is good and they have weekly events and«classics» nights, which I love! Everyone is pretty nice and the theater is always clean and welcoming. Plenty of great seating and a wonderful nostalgic vibe to the whole place.

My husband and I decided to check this place out yesterday for the Steve Jobs film. Prices were a little high for food and drinks: Calamari Fritti $ 10.95(quite a few plump, tender and yummy pieces) Jumbo Fried Ravioli $ 9.95(Delicious!) Margherita Flatbread $ 11.95(a little burnt, not worth the price) Beer on Tap $ 7.00 per glass(Yummy) Angry Orchard Hard Apple Cider on tap $ 7.00 per glass(Yummy) Movie tickets $ 10.00 each We ordered our food/drink up front at the concession stand, then we took our drinks and our order number inside the theater, and tried to locate a place to sit, which was a challenge in the dark. Our food showed up about 10 minutes after we sat down. The theater itself is oddly set up. There are permanent small round tables and chairs as well as theater seating every few rows. The small tables are a little far away from the chairs, so you have to keep leaning forward to reach your food/drink. I was kind of surprised they serve the beer and cider in actual glasses since they could easily be tip over and break. All the food is served in plastic take out containers. You have to go back out to the front to order more food/drinks.

Date night with the boyfriend a few months ago and have been meaning to Unilocal this place. Love it! Cinema with couches/love seats ;), beer, food, popcorn and ice cream! What more can you ask for. It’s like snuggling at home but with a big screen. Wish this place had more business. They play mostly independent movies and usually only three different movies at a time. A lil run down but vintage and unique place for the area!

Can you G.A.S.P. Garlic, artichoke, spinach, and pesto flat bread pizza!!! Soooo yummy! It is the perfect entrée for eating at this comfy movie theater. Nice, clean, unique, and honey venue. Love having the option of a table in front of you to set your food and drinks on. Such a downtown gem!

My parents and I came here to see The Theory Of Everything. We ordered two different salads, a hot dog, and a side of fries… And of course popcorn! Unfortunately the fries had a lot of garlic on them, which we were not aware of. They were also soggy, but when asked for a refund, they were happy to give it to us. The seats were extremely comfortable and there were even about 5 couches close to the front that seated two people on each one. I was a bit bummed about the tables. There were only 12 in the theater we were in and they were sporadically placed throughout the room at the end of the isle. The table was located a good foot from the chairs, making it difficult to get to the food during the movie. They also use plastic containers for the food, which is a bit wasteful! With the amount of food being ordered, I suggest they have reusable plates or bowls and utensils!
