We had such a great experience with the Petal Company. Jessica is wonderful and creative and made everything look so amazing. I really wasn’t quite sure what I wanted in terms of flowers, but described the overall feel of the wedding along with the colors I had picked out for the bridesmaid dresses and some colors I had thought of for the flowers and she put it all together better than I could have ever imagined. She even made a pinterest board with her ideas so that I could see some examples of what she had in mind. She went above and beyond.

I met with Jessica in March 2015 for a consultation. She was very sweet during our meeting and attentively took notes of what I was attempting to explain. She said she would give me a quote and inspiration board within a week but a week turned into two weeks and still no reply. I decided to take it upon myself to reach out to her but she replied saying she had several events and a family emergency, which I understood. Finally, when I saw the quote, it was comparable to the other florists I talked to, but by then, I felt uneasy with our poor correspondence. She provided a Pintrest board full of beautiful ideas. There would be no doubt she would have created beautiful flower arrangements, but customer service is highly important. Without it, it’s extremely nerve-​wracking for the bride to wonder if her florist will actually pull through if she only hears from her intermittently after hearing excuse after excuse of why she hasn’t replied. I thought it was just a snapshot in time due to her family situation, but judging from her Unilocal reviews, it reflects only her as individual and her mediocre business ethic.
I went with an excellent, talented florist who always emailed me within minutes to hours! Communication is key!

I’ll make this short and sour… My experience with this company was not a pleasant one. Initially, my consultation with Jessica was very pleasant and I felt very confident. It all changed when we started communicating via email. She told me after our consultation she’d have a quote for me within one week. After TWO weeks, I wrote her an email asking if she’d forgotten about my fiancé and I. She said she was busy and would send us a quote ASAP (I was more than understanding, I know summer is a busy time). I received a very vague quote, in which I responded to her within ONE day. I followed her protocol and then yesterday got an email saying she had other brides interested in my date. I then responded to her immediately, «I’m definitely using you, just waiting on a final number.» Got an email today saying she booked someone else. WTF?! I’ve been waiting on you! I’m glad I wasted more than a month dealing with you regarding my special day… NOT! Maybe it’s all fate though because my new florist who I got lucky enough to book today actually knows how to use an email and a telephone! I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone!

I didn’t buy flowers from The Petal Company, however my sister used them for her wedding. I received a bridesmaids bouquet and I held my sisters bridal bouquet throughout the wedding. The arrangements were gorgeous yet all floral pieces had wilted/​brown flowers which was a total bummer. My sister called the company to let them know and they explained it was a hot day and that’s what happens. End of story.
Hmm, maybe look into buying a refrigerated truck, especially when you charge over 2K for your services. Just sayin’.

I was originally so excited to have my wedding flowers done by Jessica and her team at the Petal Company back in April of 2014. My first consultation with her was great! Her office is very cute and inviting. She asked me tons of questions and took a lot of notes during our meeting. She told that me she would send me an estimate and my «pinterest inspiration board» within two weeks and that she would follow up from there. Two weeks went by and I received nothing. I waited another two weeks before following up again because I know it is always a busy time for a florist. I emailed Jessica several times over the next few months, all of the responses I received from her stated that «its the busiest time of the year right now, you’ll get your quote in two weeks…» Several weeks went by and I finally called the shop and made an appointment to go she her to make sure we were on the same page. This appointment was in September of 2014. She was so surprised as to why I was not emailed my quote and would email it to me after she added the changes we discussed in the meeting. Three weeks later I finally received my quote, but the changes we discussed we not on the quote. After emailing her again, I was very frustrated because I wanted to nail down my florist and pay a deposit. I have emailed her multiple times about the contract for my wedding, asking about payment dates and how to make a deposit. Jessicas response to these emails seemed very rude to me and quite frankly she sounded annoyed with all of my questions. I decided to take my business elsewhere after that. Jessica I think is a great person and the work that her team does is amazing BUT there is a serious lack to customer service ad respect in the bridal industry. I wish I would have had a better experience because I really wanted Jessica to do my flowers, but it didn’t end up that way. If you want her to do your wedding make sure you leave plenty of time for your information to fall through the cracks because they’re «always in a busy time of the year.»

I worked with Jessica and the Petal Company for my wedding at Wente Vineyards in 2014 and couldn’t have been happier! Both Jessica and my photographer (Kelly Boitano) were BY FAR my favorite vendors to work with. Jessica was incredibly accommodating, especially during those last few weeks when everything got hectic, and her arrangements were absolutely beautiful.
I was incredibly shocked to see ANY non 5-​star reviews, until I realized that they were ALL from people who didn’t actually use the Petal Company for their events. However I never felt like I had to wait for a response, and whenever we had consultations/​site visits, Jessica never made me feel rushed.
I’ve recommended the Petal Company to multiple friends that are getting married, and I look forward to continue using them any time I need flowers in the future.

Jessica gave me the most beautiful floral arrangements I could ever have imagined. I am very specific when it comes to the look I wanted for my wedding day and she hit the nail on the head. Jessica was able to recommend flowers I have never heard of based off of a vague description and got the color palette perfectly. She is incredibly low maintenance to work with, and is so kind and accommodating. I will definitely be using her for all of my future floral needs!

I met with Jessica for a consultation for my May 2015 wedding. The consultation was very enjoyable. Jessica was friendly, took lots of notes, and offered some great ideas for centerpiece containers for my reception flowers. I left our meeting in a good mood, looking forward to receiving a quote.
Knowing it is «wedding season» I expected it might take sometime to get the quote. A little over a week after our meeting I sent a follow up email asking when I could expect a quote… no reply. I gave it a week thinking perhaps they were busy or maybe the email was lost or filtered, you never know. For my next follow up I figured I’d try a different tactic, the phone, I left a voicemail at the design studio and waited for a call back… nothing.
Over 3 weeks after our initial consultation and no followup, I am disappointed.
I am sure The Petal Company does beautiful flowers, but the customer service is certainly lacking.

The Petal Company provided flowers for our wedding in June and I can say without a doubt, every arrangement was amazing! The flowers were all fresh, smelled wonderful, and were beautifully put together. The bouquets looked wonderful and held together very well despite an extremely hot day. The boutennoires looked awesome and went extremely well with the wedding colors. All of the table arrangements looked perfect and were expertly put together. I would recommend the Petal Company for any and all of your floral needs. They are easy to work with and will accommodate your request with fresh and beautiful flowers that not only look good but smell amazing.

When it came to flowers for my October 2013 wedding, I had a pretty clear picture of what I wanted and how much I was willing to spend. After meeting with two other florists in the area and not being sold on what they could offer me for the price, I asked my bridal salon, J’aime Bridal, for any other recommendations. They referred me to Jessica, who met with my mom and I and listened attentively to what I envisioned for my big day. What really sold me on Jessica’s services was that she provides all of her brides with a quote that lists several different arrangement options (and corresponding prices) per bouquet, centerpiece, etc. This was unlike anything I’d experienced with the other floral designers I’d met with, who gave me one quote with one recommendation each for each item. Jessica’s unique process really helped me to pick and choose to get the most out of my budget. In addition, she provided me with a Pinterest board of inspiration following our meeting! Working with Jessica was fairly easy, and I really appreciated that she provided the option of visiting my venue with me a few months before my wedding. As we walked around that day, she pointed out other things to consider and gave me additional décor ideas that I hadn’t thought of before. Lastly, if you’re considering working with Jessica be sure to ask about all of the great things she has for rent! I fell in love with some beautiful ornate chalkboards she has in her studio and was able to rent them for my wedding day for much less than if I had purchased them on my own. She even brought them to the ceremony with my pre-​selected messages already beautifully printed on them.

Jessica made wedding planning easy! She communicated with me throughout the entire process, responded to all of my (many) emails and really listened to what I was looking for in terms of my wedding’s floral design. She provided me with many different options to ensure I stayed within my budget and was full of great ideas that I would have never come up with on my own. Our ceremony and reception venues were beautiful. All of the bouquets and boutonnieres looked great and held up throughout the evening. I could not have been happier with the final result. Everything looked like a dream. I definitely recommend Jessica and The Petal Company for your wedding floral design needs.

Jessica was a pleasure to work with and made everything easy-​a must for a bride working 80 hours a week until the week before the wedding. She spent lots of time with me to be sure that she understood what I wanted and rolled with the last minute changes I requested. Her team was also quite helpful and patient in ensuring I understood all pricing changes (as a result of my list minute requests), and they delivered all of my beautiful arrangements to two different locations without any problems. The arrangements themselves were amazing, and they included local, seasonal blooms, as well as fruit (orange, lemon, lime, pomegranate!). Thanks, Jessica!

Words to describe Jessica, let me see… Amazing, fantastic, understating, creative, on top of everything, incredible, astonishing, wonderful, remarkable the list could go on for days. I was referred to Jessica from my photographer and I couldn’t have asked for more. Jessica was always there she understood what I wanted, needed, didn’t need etc… The flowers were amazing and its true on the day of your wedding everything goes by so fast that you don’t notice anything but your husband. We just recently got our pictures back and saw flowers and details that we never knew were there and it was exactly what we wanted and we have Jessica to thank for that. As well as being the florist Jessica was the wedding planner and she went above and beyond anything I could have asked for. From coming up with creative ideas for a s’more bar (it was yummy) to dealing with the 3 different personnel changes at my venue she handled it all and just well rocked it. Jessica was perfect for my wedding and I know she would be perfect for yours as well.

From the first meeting with Jessica, I knew she would do a wonderful job with our wedding. Her organization and knowledge of flowers and other wedding ideas were so helpful. Jessica listened to my needs/​wants and the budget I was working with and in the end we had the most beautiful flowers and décor at our wedding — it was exactly what I had hoped for.
As the planning began, Jessica and I worked back and forth on email and she was responsive to all my questions. She even came out to the wedding location twice and got on the phone with me a week before to check on all the details and answer any questions I had. This put my nerves at ease and I knew everything was going to be great at our wedding.
Jessica is not just a florist — she is a supportive vendor that very much acted like a coordinator, willing to help in anyway. She managed all my flowers, linens and table décor and did it all with such ease and with a smile on her face the entire time.
Our friends and family continue to talk about how beautiful our flowers were at our big day! I would recommend The Petal Company to any bride or anyone planning an event. Jessica is absolutely wonderful to work with.
