Chelsea’s Hair & Nail Salon

I had heard great things about this place so I was looking forward to spending my day off enjoying a relaxing pedicure and manicure.
Well that didn’t happen.
First off, the water was ice cold for the pedicure. She «fixed it» made it scalding hot. But didn’t want to complain so just soaked my feet in the scalding hot water. Next as the woman is cleaning under my nails, she stabs the hell out of my toe! (Wondering if she was new?) I picked out my color. She got the wrong color and proceeded to paint my toes in the wrong color. I kindly brought it to her attention. She said «oh we are out of that color» OK well can I at least pick a color I like!?! «Yeah sure»
I got the Shellac pedicure. They didn’t have a UV light that fit on the pedicure chair so I had to hold my legs up oh so carefully and balance my toes to fit their giant UV light (not relaxing or comfortable)
Next another woman did my manicure. When I went in, my nails looked beautiful and just needed a little cleaning up around the cuticles. Well that didn’t happen either. I left with horribly filed and crooked nails. She even chipped one of my nails while filing them and insisted that it was like that when I came in. WTF!?! PLEASE get your s#!t together. I probably won’t go back. Bummer!

Best nail salon I’ve found in Livermore!!! The place is exceptionally clean and the updated space meets all my criteria. Cookie and her staff are skilled experts in their field, not to mention delightful ladies.

This place is AMAZING! Massage chairs are super comfortable. Great selection of nail colors and the foot massage is extensive and they use a basil sugar scrub which smells SO good. The salon employees are very friendly and quick. High quality – I would certainly return to this establishment.

Where do I start? I’ve been coming to Chelsea’s for years (when Cookie took over) formally Diamond Nails. I walk out completely satisfied with each visit. Cookies attention to detail and thoughtfulness keeps me coming back. All of the women that work in the salon posses the same level of detail and thoughtfulness.
The shop was recently remodeled and I like many other faithful and happy customers were perplexed and troubled at the thought of going somewhere else. I think of this as loyalty. If I (a new customer) looking for a place that’s fast, detailed and did I mention affordable, come and see the ladies at Chelsea’s. Cookie is there almost every day!
Now I have to comment regarding one of the reviews. Claudia… Eeehemmm I after all of these years (active Unilocaler) have never been asked/​pushed to purchase any kind of product. Are you confused perhaps with another salon? We are all entitled to our options, however keep in mind that this is a small business and accurate Unilocal reviews either make or break a business.

Best pedicure in Livermore!!! Salon has been remodeled and is gorgeous. The ladies do a great job and do beautiful designs. The atmosphere of the salon is very upbeat, there’s always laughter and general good humor.

Beautiful, clean, newly remodeled nail salon! I’m super picky so I entered with hesitance but was pleasantly surprised. Drawn in by the warm, friendly associate I took a chance and it was well worth it. My toes look spectacular, my legs were so relaxed and the specialist did an impeccable job — great attention to detail. I will return again because of the kind and friendly people, cleanliness and amazing service.

This site offers the worst manicure and pedicure I’ve had that in my life. The service was very fast, and very sloppy, but the staff dedication to make me buy the nail polish resistant super … so tough now that my nails are a mess, weak, and damaged. Never will recommend this site to anyone.
