Sooo we accidentally came here thinking that it was a BBQ restaurant, and were sadly disappointed to discover that we were quite wrong. This is, in fact, a BBQ specialty store, selling all the items you’d need for a home-set-up, along with some fantastic sauces. The owner is one of the nicest guys — when he realized the mistake we made, he offered us a bowl of the delicious gumbo that he was cooking out in the back(wish that was for sale!). We picked up a bottle of their spicy BBQ sauce, and it’s absolutely amazing. I regret not buying more while we were there, definitely going to stock up the next time we’re there! If you’re a fan of BBQ, it’s worth checking it out to find your next favorite sauce!

Wow! Great BBQ store. Dave is very informative and friendly. He carries everything for the serious BBQer. All the rubs, sauces, marinades, grills, smokers, charcoal, and accessories. I will be a regular here.

You know that you’re dealing with seasoned BBQ pros when you walk into a BBQ shop and there’s a trophy wall. When I saw the name Bart’s Blazin’ Q(I’ve had their BBQ sauce) on my BBQ shop search on google, I had to visit. I stopped by today to get some Father’s Day gifts, the shop is tiny, but the love of BBQ is huge. The selection of items is limited but that shouldn’t throw you off… These guys know their BBQ and everything in there is good quality. Dave greeted me the second I walked in with a friendly smile and I felt very comfortable right off the bat. This is a new location for Dave and Deny, and I sincerely hope that they get enough business to expand because they deserve it. They also do catering in the back of the shop… How cool is that? One last thing, if you haven’t tried Bart’s Blazin’ BBQ sauce, it’s about time that you stop by the shop or buy it at Safeway, it’s the most unique, savory BBQ sauce that I have ever had, It has a sweet pickle base note to it that works with everything, and the spicy version has just the right amount of kick. Way to go guys, best of luck!

There is NOONE better than Dave! He has a passion for BBQ! Three of my friends bought Mak Pellet Smokers. He was very helpful in how to properly use the smoker and cooking tips. You do not have to re-invent the wheel, Dave knows!!! His own BBQ sauce is highly recommended. Highly Reccomend!

Best BBQ around. Simple as that. Let me explain. I am a servicemember who was previously stationed at FT Campbell KY before coming here. That place is known for BBQ(the state, not the base). So being the new guy in my unit here, I was told that everyone was to be treated to some holiday lunch. I was expecting a pretty low-key outing, but I was gladly mistaken. Bart’s Blazin’ Q was the main course, with seemingly the entire staff on hand to provide everyone an excellent BBQ lunch. The pulled pork was soft and flavorful, not dried out like most places. The ribs were as tender as can be, superior to any sit-down restaurant in the area. The chicken breasts were possibly the best that I have ever had. The sauce, to which all of this goodness was smothered in(or off to the side waiting to be smothered on something), should be the standard in which all sauces should be judged(and will be in my book). The owners, whose names I unfortunately can’t remember(I blame it on the mind focusing on the delicious food not making room for anything else), were genuinely happy to be there to provide us our holiday meals. Friendly, accommodating, and truly passionate about their craft. It is a shame that not enough people are aware of this establishment. I am going to make it a point to stop by sometime, even though I live in Fremont, just to chat with the owners again and allow my family to sample what they missed that day. Thank you Bart’s Blazin’ Q, on behalf of 368thMIBN. We definitely look forward to meeting again in the near-future.

Dave and Deny are fantastic! They catered our wedding in August and helped our special day be even more special. Our guests wouldn’t stop talking about how amazing the food was, even to this day, and for years to come. From the tender ribs, to the juicy smoked chicken, everything was perfect. We really owe them a great deal for how it turned out. They were great, from the very beginning stages, right up until they packed up and headed home. We can’t thank them enough. If you are looking for someone to cater an event, don’t hesitate and call Bart’s Blazing BBQ! You will not regret it. They are genuine people who truly love BBQ and take pride in their work. Oh yea, their BBQ sauce is insanely good! Even if you’re not looking for a caterer, stop by their storefront and pick up their very own BBQ sauce, it is incredible! Sweet, smokey and just right. Thanks again guys, we’ll never forget it.

I bought a beautiful Big Green Egg from Dave with a mahogany nest, and custom trays. I got a solid deal, as expected. With my new BGE, Dave threw in some of his BBQ sauce. OK, sure, whatever. I’ve gotten free sauce before for buying stuff. Sure, I’ll take it… OH — MY — GOD… Everyone has a BBQ sauce. It’s not hard to make, and they all pretty much get it done. Nothing special; it’s just sauce. NOPE! Not Bart’s Blazin Q BBQ Sauce. It’s INSANE! This is, by evolutionary leaps, the absolute BEST sauce that I have ever tasted. It really caught me by surprised. I have tried a LOT of sauces, and nothing even comes close to this stuff. It is a bit tomato forward, and a little sweet. Not too much tomato, and not too sweet, but just right. The flavors actually separate and stand out individually. After swallowing, you think your done and then, POW, you get a subtle finish of spice. Again, not too much, but you know that it’s there. OUTSTANDING! I recently made the absolute best slab of ribs that I have ever made, and I credit this sauce. I just ate a pulled port pita and poured some sauce in and found myself compelled to write this review. I promise you that a better sauce would be hard to find, and I doubt that this is a matter of opinion. RUN to the Bart’s and get this sauce.

They have a retail shop at this location as well as running the catering business now. Great place — they have lots of high end charcoal, rubs, sauce, wood chunks, all the stuff you would expect in a dedicated BBQ supply shop. I didn’t pay much attention to the gear but I know they sell Big Green Eggs because somebody was buying one while I was there. Very nice people running it — I picked up 100 pounds of charcoal there today and the owner loaded it into my car which I always see as a good sign with these places. Check the link for their hours — they’re not open every day, and they’re kind of tucked into a business center. Look for the Kelley Moore and go behind it and then start looking at the numbers on the buildings. It’s not hard to find, just don’t expect it right on the main street.

Holy Smokes this was some good Q! Completely surpassed all expectations and my family can be a tough crowd! Wanted to do Father’s Day bbq, but give the guys a break… checked Unilocal and found Bart’s Blazing Q. Not a restaurant, strictly catering… Owners Dave and Deny are a local family in Livermore. They do this on the side because Dave is a BBQ Master! They also cater for some winery events and enter oodles of bbq contests. We had a small order(10 adults) but Dave said he’d accomodate us cuz they had other orders they were cooking for that weekend. So figure 2 entrees and 3 sides for about $ 15 — 20 per person. Sounds like alot until you visualize what you actually end up spending on a big party or bbq… ok that’s probably just me. i’m an «over doer». We got chicken breasts, pulled pork, potato salad, pasta salad and Bart’s famous beans and they threw in garlic bread! Dave and Deny personally showed up to deliver and set up the food! AND there was ALOT of food… could’ve easily fed 20! Raves from all on the sides and you know how hard it is to find a really good potato salad! The pasta salad was super yummy! The beans are worth the upgrade-everyone loved ‘em. Even the garlic bread was perfect. But the meat… ah…The Meat… Chicken Breasts were perfectly done, moist and smoky… Pulled pork was served with a bottle of q sauce to go over but almost all of us loved it just plain. I wish I could add the smell to this review… Mouth watering. We were in bbq heaven… and the guys all said they have to up their game now that Dave has raised the bar and thrown down the gauntlet! BBQ envy…

Awesome BBQ catering! Full disclosure, we’ve been long time friends of the owners Dave and Deny, but we hadn’t actually had them cater a party for us until recently. They were awesome! The menu included ribs, tri-tip, potato salad, spicy thai noodles, green salad, beans and corn bread. The meats were paired with their own bbq sauce, made from scratch. Our party was at noon, so they came in at 10am to setup. Their BBQ trailer was parked in front of our house, filling the air with rich BBQ aroma. Yum! Lunch went off without a hitch, and Dave and Deny not only made sure everyone was well fed and happy, but also found time to chat with our guests about the finer points of BBQ. Everyone really loved the food, and at the end of the party, I could relax since Dave and Deny did such a good job of cleaning up everything. My husband and I could spend most of our time socializing, and we didn’t need to worry about prepping the food. If you’re thinking of having them cater your party, any of the meats are superb. You really can’t go wrong with any selection, but as for sides, my tip would be to break out the extra bucks to get the Blazin’ Beans and pair it with a side of corn bread. They were sooo good. Nice and spicy.(I’m not a fan of overly sweet baked beans.) Also, we started serving food shortly after guests arrived. It didn’t occur to me that if your guests arrive an hour or 2 before the food is done, they get a chance to check out the BBQ trailer and the cooking process. Next time, we’ll definitely do that.
