Stopped off here around 3:00 in the morning one night while playing designated driver. The server was very cool and had us seated and menued pretty fast. The food was a few notches above what you’d expect from Waffle House: the hash browns are good and plentiful although on the greasy side(pro tip: smother them with country grave so you don’t notice), the waffle was a decent waffle. The decaf she had to brew for me and I recall that being a step above your usual diner coffee. Not bad at all, esp. for the price and the time of day. Dug it.

This place is great because it’s so inexpensive! The service has always been fast and the only reason they don’t get 4 or 5 stars is because my bacon is almost always overcooked and it’s never that clean… I would also recommend air conditioning as it is always so hot in there.

I certainly don’t go into the Waffle House with the highest of expectations but shouldn’t I be able to expect friendly service and at least DECENT food? First of all, everyone in there had an ATTITUDE. I was told we could sit anywhere so my son picked an empty booth. Well apparently this booth needed to be «wiped down» so one of the waitresses huffed and puffed about it and acted like it was the biggest inconvenience to her while she proceeded to deliberately take her sweet time wiping the table down while we just stood there feeling awkward. Another waitress SWOOPED in to take our drink order. I mean we were barely seated. I realize things are a lot quicker-paced and a lot more casual in these types of places but geez, let me SEE what you have to drink first! The waitress looked at me like I had committed some kind of offense for telling her we were going to wait for the rest of our party to show up. I’m sorry, is there some kind Waffle House etiquette I should know about? Anyway, this waitress was totally pushy and acted like she was irritated the WHOLETIME. EVERYTHING was just a huge rush with her. With each encounter she turned right around to bad-mouth me to her co-workers. She acted like she was annoyed by the fact that I ordered the hot tea that she never offered to refill. She repeatedly interrupted me while I was speaking. I told her that both my son and I wanted SOFT bacon. I listened to her call out the order to the cook and it didn’t sound like she even bothered to tell him that, plus my son and I both ended up with bacon that was BURNTTO A CRISP. For the side salad, she brought me this huge bowl of gnarly brown lettuce seemingly void of any other veggies but I couldn’t tell because everything was so brown. Apparently another thing you can’t expect from the Waffle house is for your salad to come out before the meal. When the waitress brought the«salad», I told her I was going to pass because for one, I expected it first, and two, it looks disgusting. Quite frankly I’m shocked by the fact that she could even bring me something that looked like that in good conscience! I have over 20 years of waitressing experience and I’ve worked in various types of establishments including the diner and the hole-in-the-wall. If I happen to see something that doesn’t look so pleasing, I let the customer know! Sorry that’s just who I am. Anyway, when the waitress inquired as to how everything was, I mentioned the overly crisp bacon. She barked, «do you want me to have him re-make it?!» No thanks! Again, she turned around to bad-mouth me to her co-workers who were clearly amused by the whole thing. She saw me looking at the bill and jumped right on me and rudely asked, «Do you have questions about the bill?» I said, «SHOULD I have questions about the bill?» Proceeded by, of course, more bad-mouthing. She was even badmouthing me to another customer!!! Unbelievable! As far as the food, I guess you can’t expect too much but it was COLD, the Philly meat was DRY, the hash browns weren’t even edible because they were cooked to oblivion, and of course the bacon was prefab and overcooked. The waffle tasted ok but it was COLD. The COLD syrup made it even worse! I would think a place that specializes in waffles to have syrup warmers or to at least provide warm syrup somehow. I guess that’s just me. I wouldn’t have even bothered to write a review if it weren’t for the behavior and attitudes of the three people working this night but I really don’t appreciate the way I was treated, and getting bad-mouthed and mocked RIGHT in front of my face! I never stiff a server no matter how bad the experience is so that was a first for me but ultimately I’m with this other reviewer who suggested that McDonalds would be less of a less of a letdown!

We eat here about once a month and the food is both(1) tasty and(2) very inexpensive compared to most other local breakfast options. You can order breakfast here at any time of day! This is a diner so don’t expect a 5-star experience, but the servers and cooks are always friendly, and the food is very consistent. My kids really love eating here.

Love this place and the staff that work there. Everyone is incredibly nice and helpful. Although not all cooks are the best there are three that really know how to cook. Randall, Gage, and Dutch. Three terrific cooks who seem to make the most of the traditional diner style food. Service is quick and food always hot. This place has formed me into a dedicated regular. The great thing is that the folks working there can recognize me and I’ll have a warm cup of coffee waiting for me. I’ve made friends with most of the night staff and it’s always great to have some company. This place is truly a home away from home. Worth the 15mi drive to visit every once and a while.

Man I love this place. Service is really good and fast. So far the food has been good every time. The wait can be a little long to sit down, but that’s not the staffs fault it’s just a size issue with the building. Today we sat at the counter, and that was really cool because it seemed like we got better one on one service.

Reminds me of back home in New Orleans. It is more comfort food to me than anything else. It is not gourmet food by any means but it is very inexpensive. In NOLA we have Waffle House and Popeye’s Chicken everywhere but this is Colorado so it is Mexican restaurants and marijuana dispensaries. Always reminds me of back home going to a Waffle House:)

I don’t know why I gave it another shot. Service is great, however… I don’t recall a blackened hash brown menu item. I guess one again I get screwed by tipping on a to go order

I don’t like waffles but that is not why we go to Waffle house. This is no 4star eatery so it is hillarious to read some of these reviews on here. This is an old fashioned diner and it represents well. Love the place!

There is an article in this month’s «Bön Appetit» about Waffle House, so off I went to try it. The cheese omelet was filled with American cheese. The egg part was okay, but the cheese part was not worth eating. The pecan waffle was pretty good, but certainly not worth going for. The hashbrowns, ordered well done as recommended in the article and topped with onions and jalapenos, were pretty good. There is better food at other places. As for the price, it doesn’t seem expensive until you think about the quality you’re getting for the price, and then you realize it’s really overpriced. Go elsewhere, spend a little more, and get something much better.

Simply put. the food SUCKS! Doughy waffles, something disgusting I think they call sausage and a minced scrambled egg. Cheap, yes. So crappy it should be free. You couldn’t pay me to go back. Gag.

Dude the cook was off the chain. I have him a 5 dollar tip he was very appreciative the service sucked so I left 1 dollar tip. The guy next to me got a dirty look for complaining about me watching tv on my phone. What an ass. I recommend this place for its awesomeness

Yeah, I know. It’s waffle house. ‘Nuff said, right? But the thing is, I went to this place expecting waffle house, and it STILL disappointed me. There’s a McDonald’s around the corner, go there instead.

Ya — You know what are getting. Cheap breakfast food in an old diner atmosphere. A traditional stop for some friends of mine after concerts at Fiddlers. I had the waffle and bacon. The waffles aren’t hard but more like pancake consistency. Three strips of OK bacon. Coffee is so so as was everything else. No surprises!

OK waffle house for what it is. Quick good not healthy on any level whatsoever. That said 5:30 in the am needed a quick hot breakfast nothing’s better. This waffle house has always been quick with service and coffee. The food is fresh and consistent by greasy spoon standards. The juke box rocks with music selection if I want breakfast to Elvis, Led Zep, ZZ Top, Johnny Cash, Queen it’s all in there to make it complete. I’m giving them 4 stars by greasy spoon standards. Be brave order hash browns there ALLTHEWAY with everything.

I echo the«Cleanest Waffle House» sentiment. This one is large, open, and shiny. Went late for a Delicious Waffle, and it hit the spot.(Fake butter, Fake Syrup and all!) The man had the«Texas Cheesesteak Sandwich» with scattered, covered, and smothered hash browns. While plentiful, the hash browns were undercooked in the middle, and the«Covering» and«Smothering» were sadly nearly MIA. One slice of American Cheese does not a Smothering make. The Texas Toast on the sammy was, naturally, delicious. But the steak there always has an odd taste to it(in my opinion. He thought it was greasy goodness!) Generally, I believe the Waffle House should be saved for Post-Witching Hour eats, preferrably when your senses have been dulled by substance. But this one is so shiny and bright, it might even be a safe bet for breakfast.
