Food was very subpar as was service and ambiance. We’ve been to the Teds in Bozeman and it was fantastic and so we were very disappointed with this location. Will not return unless its only for the«Newly Fashion» whiskey cocktail which was very tasty.

I’ve loved Ted’s Montana Grill for as long as I can remember. The quality of the service and the food sort of varies depending on which location you go to. I’ve gotten in the habit of sitting in the bar everywhere I go so I don’t have to wait for service, and I particularly enjoy Ted’s bars because I can also watch what’s happening in the kitchen. This particular location has fantastic bartenders(seriously, top notch). I’m probably only in there about once a month, but somehow they all know my drink and my friend’s drinks and set them in front of us by the time we take off our coats and sit down.(pretty impressive for a place that’s on a wait every single nigh.) As they swiftly refill our drinks after a raise of their brows followed by a nod of our heads, they somehow manage to remember what was going on in our lives last time we were in and ask us about whatever we had chatted about back then. Seriously, I don’t even know how they do it, but it’s just amazing service. Why only 4 stars, you ask? The problem is the kitchen. The ingredients are set up for success – all fresh made daily, hand formed burger patties, potatoes cut freshly into fries right in front of you. All of that aside, I order my burgers«medium» and they come out«mooing» rare about as often as they come out well-done, and they actually arrive cooked to order about 25% of the time. I always gobble it down and pretty much lick the plate, because like I said, the ingredients… amazing…but if I’m going to a meat place I’d like them to cook it right.

Went in on a busy Wednesday night — it was packed, so I chose to eat at the bar. A friendly server greeted me and took my order. Unfortunately it was so busy that I never saw the server again until I flagged him down to pay him. The food was pretty good. The service on this occasion was pretty rough.

The bison burgers at Ted’s Montana grill are excellent. Very juicy and flavorful and mix that their bison nachos– what a feast! I can’t go there often now because I started a new job and took a pay cut and Ted’s is a little pricey. But if you have room in your belly for dessert– their strawberry shortcake is very good too!

We really love Ted’s. Their bison nachos are just about the tastiest thing I’ve ever eaten. I really like their burgers as well. The lemonade is out of this world. However the last time we went there my wife’s prime rib was pretty bad, it was mushy. I don’t know if it was cooked incorrectly or what but it was not good at all.

I love Ted’s and so does my wife. The food is amazing and very well priced. We don’t come in very often since we live very close to Crave, but if we are wanting a really good buffalo burger(or in my case the awesome chicken sandwich) we cone here.

For a break during a particularly hectic day, I discovered this establishment and was impressed with the décor, a la late 1800’s. I almost expected Judy Garland and«The Harvey Girls» to come bustling from the kitchen in full song. Historical architecture geek that I am, I relaxed in the wood-paneled booth, with an «aged» baking tin storing the salt shaker and sweetner container. I wasn’t quite in the mood for bison, so my server kindly suggested an off-menu option, a French Dip sandwich made from prime rib shavings. Wonderful idea, and I carried out the leftovers for my at-work dinner.

We decided to ear here early on a Saturday night. I thought it was loud and pricey for what you get. Our server was a little older and we didn’t seem to be a priority to her at all. The bison was good but I doubt we’ll go back anytime soon.

Good, clean place with good food and location. The steaks, burgers and sides all good. It’s a bit on the expensive side but so close to home, it’s hard to resist if not wanting to fight the crowd at Outback Steakhouse.

Food from scratch. Yummy Onion Rings. Veggie Burger was a little mushy, but I love that it’s house made. Definitely would return. Tried my first Ted’s for the Bison. Now that I’m a vegetarian, it still works!

I love Ted’s bugers! Beef or Buffalo, doesn’t matter, they are all wonderful. I am particularly fond of the green and hot(buffalo, guac & fresh jalapenos). Plus their fries are fresh cut and salty. This location in Southglenn is busy! It is a lot bigger than the one across town in Southlands, so there is less of a wait, but then it gets packed and loud! It is a great option, but definitely not a cheap one. I do need my Ted’s burger every now and then, so I will be back.

I ordered a medium-rare bison burger and after a few bites of bursting flavor, I realized it was pretty much completely raw. I immediately mentioned it to my server who in turn immediately took it away and admitted the burger should not have come out that way. I was very polite… the server was very polite. A few moments later, the manager on duty came over to the table to apologize for the mishap. She comp’d my burger and brought out an entirely new plate. I contended that it was not necessary to offer an entirely new plate but she insisted. It’s great to know that excellent service still exists.

This is a Ted’s, so there’s not that much to say. Excellent burgers cooked exactly how you want them. Meat tastes perfect and even the fries couldn’t be better. Located right across from Drafthouse, this is the perfect place to go eat at first.

This place is one of my favorites when it comes to burgers, fries, ranch, cookies, and booze. I dropped it a star because the burgers can be inconsistent and the beer glasses dirty but it’ll always be a burger of choice to me and I’ll keep coming.

I so wanted to be wowed at a $ 17.00+ burger. With drinks $ 65.00 bill was speedy for a disappointing meal. We have been wanting to try it, drove from Southlands and were certainly not wowed. For the price their are MUCH better places to eat a burger.

Meeeee-diocre! Sub par! Skip it! Go to Subway! Hmmm, where to start? Well, I walked into quite the hysteria at the hostess stand because one of the lovelies got a bug on her. There was squealing and cavorting as a large maimed insect was sent sailing into the dining area. We all watched as the poor bug tried to drag itself off. The staff just giggled and pointed. Hmmm. Big bug on floor, dying slowly, three staff members leaving it there. Minus one star. When we were seated we asked for a booth. There were several open. Miss Lovely the bug victim really did not want to seat us in a booth, leaving us standing, having to ask her partner in insecticide if it was ok to seat us at a booth. She still did not want to do it, but finally, we got a booth. Attitude: minus one star. Once seated, my friend and I noticed the pickle plates they gave us were dirty. Both of them. Did not use pickle plates. We ordered salads, the Farmers Salad, from our server who really wasn’t into it. He returned, thumbs deep into our salads(eeeeeeww!!!). My first bite unearthed a gristly fatty cap end of a leg bone with that gross tendon thing hanging off. Done with lunch. I pointed it out to the server, and he just said said«„„hmmm““» and stood there. I finally asked,” well can I have a plate to put this gross thing on?”…” Sure”. I put the gross bone thing onto a plate, and HENEVERCLEARED it! It stared at me for the remainder of lunch, even with coffee! I quit eating, thoroughly lost appetite. And note, the salad dressing was pure vinegar– no balance to the salad at all. Bluck yuck yuck! I didn’t touch my salad and no apologies or replacements were offered. The salad was $ 18. Avoid this uninspired amateur suburban restaurant at all costs.

I can easily say that I’ve never had a dish from Ted’s I didn’t enjoy. Recently I tried their bison nachos, holy cow. Amazing. Better than any nachos I’ve had at a Mexican restaurant! My other favorite dish is the bison pot roast with aunt fannie’s squash casserole. Last, I love the crushed ice they put in their drinks. Give them a try, I’d be surprised if you didn’t find something you liked :)

The entire staff has changed, and seemingly as a result, quality has gone down. Have given them multiple chances. It’s okay, it’s just not as stellar as it used to be. Great service goes a long way in a chain restaurant. They need to re-step up their game.
