Running Wild

I was sad to hear that Running Wild has closed its doors. The owner, Michael Hermann was very welcoming and genuinely interested in being a part of the running community.

Running Wild is great for both experienced runners and those just starting out. It’s a specialized store where people REALLY know about running and want to help you be the best runner you can be. The very knowledgeable staff will spend a lot of time with you and give you individualized service and great information.
If you’re looking for shoes, you can try them out on the in-​store treadmill or even, on a nice day, outdoors before you buy them. You will not feel rushed to a decision; the people at Running Wild want to make sure you’re really getting the right shoes for your feet. There are no pushy salesmen. Your budget will be respected, and you won’t get into a high-​pressure sales situation; in fact, they will look for ways to save you money. The shoe prices are better than those of any other specialized shoe store I’ve visited.
