I actually liked this place until my girlfriend found a long hair in her food. I feel like this place has great potential considering the location and the décor, It just seems to be poorly managed.

Beautiful restaurant, I almost thought I was«under dressed» even for a lunch date on a Monday lol but my husband reiterated that it said it was a «Bar & Grill»…menu was mediocre as previously stated by other reviews; nothing really popped out as looking great, but we split a cobb salad, which was fine(something I could’ve made at home myself), and a couple margaritas.(Skip the margaritas! *yuck* all mix, heartburn will occur later, I’m sure) & husband ended up having to finish mine and I just ordered a beer. Service was ok, but just awkward, like the girl hadn’t waitressed before or was hungover and just uninterested in her job… we MIGHT go back for happy hour someday, but it wouldn’t be at the top of our list.

I love this place! It’s small but comfortable. They don’t have the largest selection of beers on tap, but they have enough and not the stereotypical stuff every other paid-off bar carries. They have a happy hour that’s a good deal, daily specials on food that changes and the service is usually pretty good. It does get busy after 5:00 on weekdays which can slow down the service, but usually isn’t too bad. I’ve had a few things to eat here but their street taco’s are incredible! On nice days the patio is great to be out on and enjoy the breeze. Rox is a little out of the way and tucked back in at the end of a side street, but it’s worth the hunt.

I don’t usually leave reviews, but this place smells like farts. If you or your loved ones are sulfur-sensitive, stay clear. One love.

I will never come back here. They made my drink wrong twice and then tried to blame it on me. I have been drinking crown and 7 for years. Crown and soda is not the same think. Very rude.

meh… the atmosphere is good but the service sucks and the food is mediocre. i ordered a steak and paid $ 19. not even worth it… the steak had no flavor and was overcooked… and i’m pretty sure the mashed potatoes were instant. seriously??? also ordered the chips and salsa… the tortilla chips were so salty that i couldn’t eat more than a couple. our server was super slow and could only focus on one task at a time… they sat us in the back of the dining room which was ok until customers and staff decided to go out and smoke. the door opening when it was only 30 degrees and the cold draft made my visit very cold and uncomfortable… i will not he going back

What a disappointment. Sat at the half full bar and felt invisible for 6 minutes. Pork green chili had a dull taste and the tortillas they used for my chix tacos were cheap and fell apart. I was told the food here was very good, not so much. The restaurant seats well over 100 peeps and there was 1 individual men’s restroom. Cheap, cheap, cheap… the towel dispenser begrudgingly spit out a 4 inch x 4 inch sheet forcing me to wave again again to dry my hands. Save ur time and money and chose another place.

Great food, friendly service, nice looking place. I had the pulled pork sliders w/fries — delicious. We’re staying at the Hampton Inn nearby — easy walk to this place.

Great little sports bar, relaxed atmosphere, patio seating with a nice view of the foothills(!!!) and the service was also really efficient. I have been here several times, once with a group of 16, and two other times with a party of 4. On all three visits the service was very good — I would come back now that I know what to order. One note about his place is that it is really good for people who like spicy foods, because it seems like everything is spicy, and it is not advertised as such on the menu, so you will have to ask or be unpleasantly surprised by your order. So, this will be perfect if you like a little bit of heat on just about anything, which some people do! Some favorites from this restaurant are: street tacos(lots of meat!), the fried pickles, the sweet potato tots(yes, that is right — yum!) the tortilla chips are made fresh and are yummy(watch out — the guacamole is spicy and that is not advertised on the menu), the cobb salad was really good, and also the burgers are really tasty. Other things we tried: caprese appetizer(the crostini that it comes on was really crunchy and hard to eat), fish tacos(the fish taco itself was great — however, the ‘house made tartar’ advertised on the menu doesn’t say it is spicy and they don’t have, nor will they make one that is not spicy for you), same with the fish and chips(the fish was actually really tasty but the surprisingly spicy tartar ruined the meal), we also had a BLT on one visit(the bread is texas toast, so it is really thick, it just seemed like too much in comparison to the contents of the sandwich). The three stars here is mostly because of the atmosphere(patio is great — inside is very open and spacious) and service(on all visits the servers were great!) and not as much about the food for me. The prices here seem a little high, but they have a great happy hour every day of the week with great deals! I wish I could say I loved this place, but the surprising spice to all of the fish items on their menu and the guacamole was disappointing. Some people I know would love this feature!

I was hesitant to go in. From the outside the place looks vacant with lots of big weeds around the building. Opted for only a drink once inside since no one in the bar was eating.

I tried this place recently and I thought it was great. We had fish and chips and a Cobb salad, both really delicious, the fish was not greasy or caked in batter, really nice and wholesome. The Cobb was equally good, lots of blue cheese chunks, avocado — really good, very fresh. But the highlight, besides a great environment — deck, bar, everything — was the grapefruit beer! I’m not into wheat etc beers, but that grapefruit beer that Erica recommended is killer. So refreshing and so delicious, I’ll be going back just to have that on draft again. (thank you Erica! great server) It’s a Sam Adams offshoot, something…‘Shandy’ and I went to their site to find all the bars in town that have it on tap, which is quite a few. Try it, you’ll like it. Breakfast beer!

I am unaware of any other restaurant with such high staff turnover. Almost always a new server and hostess. I called in an order for takeout and they lost it. No apologies, just attitude from the staff I once asked a server what beer they had on tap as I wanted her recommendation. She said nothing and handed me the menu. Yes, they serve food but it is nothing to brag about.

OUTSTANDING street tacos! My sister and I shared them and that was plenty for both of us. There was so much chicken in them and VERY tasty! My brother in law had the wings and said they were ok, not great. Service was slow, but super friendly. This place has a GREAT deck, small but awesome views!

This place is so close to us, yet we seem to have it about third on our list of places to make a «go to» place, frequently and regularly. After Saturday night — that may change. First of all, daily happy hourS. Happy hourS — every day. Top that — every day, seven days a week, every day that ends in y. And by comparison, an excellent happy hour as you almost expect it to suck because it is every day, but it doesn’t — a solid beer, Bloody Mary, marg, cocktail and wine selection. Now on to the food — super delicious. The fish tacos are tough to beat, the happy hour street tacos are ridiculously meaty and flavorful. The burger is a contender for best burger, and the wings actually are better(to me) than BW’s. Service is consistently attentive, and the deck in warm weather, is tops. The establishment is clean, clean, clean, and well appointed. So why not 5 stars you ask? The acoustics are a bit warehousey, and loud. It can feel like you are eating and drinking in an empty garage. Pee in the ladies room in cold weather — you will bounce off the seat as fast as you sit. It is on an outside wall, and super cold. Clean and well decorated — just ridiculously cold. Other than that — give it a shot! It is well within distance of a few chains like Old Chicago, Applebees, Chilli’s, Yardhouse, etc, and is a step above and well worth the try!

I have eaten several lunches and dinners here. The food selection is your basic American type meals. The service is very good and the beer selection is pretty good. We also had a desert and it was good. It’s a good place for a group of friends or to take the family. You won’t go wrong if you go to Rox’s.

After reading the reviews both the recommended and not recommended I was not expecting to leave here happy. I was wrong. Server was great! Prompt, very nice, vast menu knowledge,. The menu is simple and straight forward. our party had a BLT. Steak sandwich, and the classic buger. All were really good. The fries are excellent and I’m picky about fries. I had two beers both the same from Nitro that were tasty. this place doesn’t have a large beer menu but the Nitro was d’lish. Our experience don’t match the Unilocal reviews. Give it a try.

Everyone knows about their Fish Tacos and their wide selection of beers and adult beverages. Love their salmon and rice dish as well. I am a huge fan of their outdoor deck when the weather is right. Best-kept Secret: Jamaican Jerk Chicken is on the menu and very good!

Great fish tacos! Also, try the Asian slaw. I like to add that to the fish tacos. They have a great choice of beer and cocktails as well. Happy hour is great.
