Ok, I am updating my review AGAIN. See how considerate I am? Ok… so the millipede situation is now under control… has been for a couple of months now, but man that was a doozy. I can;t say that I want to stay in this particular unit after my lease is up, because man, I can’t live through that again. The staff is really pleasant and they definitely respond to questions and maintenance issues rather quickly. That’s a huge plus. The property is slightly overpriced, but that’s just the nature of the housing market anywhere in the 5280 right now. Everything is overpriced. The maintenance team is above par, they definitely go above and beyond to make sure that things are taken care of in a timely manner(usually within 24 hours for normal stuff). The maintenance guys are also extremely friendly and say hello to everyone while they are out and about on the golf carts. Same complaint about the dog poop. There’s been dog poop in my hallway since I moved in 6.5 months ago, which is totally dried up and will hopefully disintegrate soon. And Alliance doesn’t say anywhere in the lease that they will clean up the walkways or parking lots when it snows. They do a first run through as a courtesy after a storm, but the build up from wind or traffic will not be cleaned up. There is ice all over the walkway near my unit and the handicapped ramp and parking space is thrice covered in ice. I utilize this ramp on the daily because I have a baby carrier and stroller… so it’s making life super difficult right now and apparently will continue until winter is over. It’s quite a hazard, but Alliance has covered their bums by stipulating it in the lease, so even if you fall, it’s not their issue.

Worst maintenance schedule. No help on the weekends. Only if an emergency. I guess water leaking out of your freezer, all over the floor is not one. Front desk ladies seem to not care about the well being of their tenants. Apartments are old and need updated.

Pinnacle at Mountain Gate has gone down hill fast! fact: The so called business center has had no internet connection for 6 weeks straight. Now that internet is up, there is still no way to print! Fact: The pool heat went down and the jacuzzi was cold for two straight weeks! Fact: There are TWO trash collection fees now… one for trash collection service and one for Valet pick up of trash at your door whether you need it or not. Fact: I paid a 200 non refundable pet fee AND a 100 refundable pet fee AND25 per month for pet rent. Each pet gets a separate pet rent fee! But 35 of your«refundable» fee goes to neutralizing the carpet when you move, guaranteed. So why do they call it refundable? FACT: Get your notice to vacate signed and copied for your files, because when they lose it, they will tell you they never got it. Happened to two tenants! So their rent obligation was extended. Fact: expect to pay for some standard repairs. They will tell you it should not have broken and it’s your liability. It use to be nice to live here… but not anymore!
