Love that Southwest plaza brought this place in! Great addition to the mall restaurants.& a healthy one at that. Super friendly and helpful staff. The wait time has been about 30 mins every time I’ve come in(you have to wait in a line the entire time). That’s a little longer then I like to wait. I’ve only ever gotten salad here and it is delicious! I recommend The Van Gogh, the mad Molly Brown, the Ivan & the Edgar Allen Poe. You also have the option to create your own. The price is around $ 10 for a salad. The side, Trio hummus is excellent too!

This is a new restaurant at Southwest Plaza mall. I worry this place is going to go out of business after barely getting started. Their salads are great, the staff is friendly, but the two times I’ve been here I had to wait at least half an hour in line. That’s too long for fast food. Several of the people in front and several people behind me left. I feel like Mad Greens losing a lot of business. The person taking the order is the same person that starts making the salads. How cumbersome. If they added even one more person it would speed things up immensely. I hope they do because this place is really good.

So very glad to now have a MAD Greens in my neighborhood! I tried the Olomomo Salad(mixed greens, feta, apples, coated pecans and craisins) today. On a scale of 1 – 10, I’d rate it a 10. I’ll be a regular!

I have to start this review with a disclaimer. I’ve been a long time Mad Greens consumer and this rating in no way reflects their business directly by any means but rather how I felt my experience was. My fiancé and I came to this location for our fifth time to grab a quick dinner. When we arrived we placed our orders and were waiting for our salads to be made. There were four bowls ahead of us and the girl taking orders stood there instead of helping out the crew and moving us along.(There was no one behind us). My fiancé had asked for the quinoa to be placed in his salad but they informed us that they were out. as we moved down the line we saw two cambros full of it. As I began to tell the girl what I would like in my salad she stared at some chart behind the glass and did not acknowledge what I was requesting but interrupted me to tell me they were out of onions(even though I had just told her I didn’t want any, as they pulled out a fresh cambro of them) I get down to the register to pay and she tells me my total is $ 18 for a regular Greek salad priced at around $ 5-$ 6. I tell her that I am only paying for my salad, not both and that my salad is the regular Greek. She ignores me and asks me if I had a big Olomomo. We must have went back and forth three times before she finally listened to what I was saying to her. She charges me $ 8 and out of frustration I just pay her without realizing my salad was $ 6. I ask her about it and she mumbled something to herself and took almost 5 minutes to reprocess my order. I go to give her the change she gave back to me(which was incorrect from the receipt she had) and she reprocessed my order. After a ridiculously unnecessary long transaction we finally were able to sit down and enjoy. I have full respect for the crew working and that this is a learning experience for them being in a new location but I would like to call attention to the fact that they should talk less and listen more, not assume that one person is paying for the ticket, be timely with their interactions and offer up better customer service. I will still eat at Mad Greens, but my experience was the worst to date.

My husband and I stopped in for lunch on Friday, February 19th. We had both just gotten the bad news that the position we held at our respective jobs were being eliminated. Needless to say, we were in a somber and stunned mood when we came in to this Mad Greens location with a promotional coupon we had received in the mail. One of the associates, Mary, asked my husband how his day was going as she was making his salad. He reluctantly told her of our news as I tried to fight back tears. Mary gently told us to save our coupon for another visit, and that she would be buying us our lunch that day. I am sure that the total price of our lunch didn’t amount to much, but we consider Mary’s gesture priceless.

First of all, the place is WAY too small! I went during the lunch rush today and it was so crowded and loud. I had to sit outside because it was the only spot open. I ordered the Veggie Hamlet and was told to go down to the register to pay because I wasn’t getting a salad made. Went I got there, there were a lot of people just standing around and there didn’t seem to be any order. When I finally got to the register and told the cashier that I was instructed to pay here for a panini, she groaned and said«I hate when they do that!» There was another cluster of people at the beverage station, and when I finally got my turn to get some tea, there was no ice.(Still no ice 10 minutes later, by the way.) There was a nice selection of brewed iced teas. My panini was okay, nothing special. For $ 8, I expected more veggies. And the bread was soggy from the mushrooms by the time I got to the second half. The red pepper dipping sauce was probably the best thing about the dish. I probably won’t go here again, I’m sorry to say. I was not wowed or impressed. Oh, and where is the Soup of the Day listed? I couldn’t find it anywhere!

I received a coupon for $ 10 at the new Southwest Plaza location. I wasn’t sure what to order and got great suggestions from the lady at the register. I chose the olomomo salad with grilled citrus chicken and ½ a pinini. The girl making my salad was friendly and obviously very new. I had to wait a little long to check out but was told twice by the lady at the register she would be right with me, which was nice. I had my food to go and realized when I started eating my salad that she had forgotten the grilled citrus chicken. The salad and pinini were excellent and would have been even better with the chicken. I will go back and am happy to have them in the neighborhood.
