John Compton – Keller Williams Park Meadows

My husband and I have bought 3 houses in the past years and we never ran into someone so unprofessional like Debbie Dillman. We had the first offer in even before seeing the property as we were very familiar with the area, she mentioned to our realtor that she would allow us in to see the property before any other showings.
As we went there, she was already showing the house to other people, big red flag because she didn’t follow through with her words. Then she mentioned that the house could have multiple offers but ours were still stronger. However, it’s very upsetting when an agent puts the offer first in line but doesn’t follow through with their word or allow a chance to the first in line. It was handled very poorly and unprofessionally. I understand she represents the seller but there is still an ethical way to deal with multiple offers especially when she said we would have first shot before any other buyers would be allowed inside.
It’s plain ridiculous that she didn’t allow us to match the other offer. If I see this seller, I am definitely never doing business with her again and/​or would never recommend her to anyone.
