We went here for a family dinner Friday night and it was so bad, I am on Unilocal for the first time to let people know how horrible it was. The food was disgusting, literally. The only reason why I am giving it 1 star is because our server was nice. The manager was supposed to come over and take to us, but instead skated by to get out the front door to smoke with another server. The kids meal was a few frozen taquitos, the steak sandwich came hard and tough on burnt bread, the fries were raw and the so papilla was soft and doughy. We would never go back here and will let my friends know about this awful experience.

To the Jack-N-Grill people on Belleview & Santa Fe: My husband and I have been coming her for as long as you’ve been at this location. But lately… we can tell you’re cutting corners. I usually order the Carne Adovada Quesadilla w/a side of guac & sour cream. I love the smoky, deep flavor of the Carne Adovada — it is AWESOME! But at our last visit… my quesadilla was overcooked and EXTREMELY salty. There was no smoky, deep goodness… it was just like«YUCK — I can’t eat this — there’s too much salt in it!». Then, I tried my side of guac. The guac was definitely not fresh. My husband then gave me some of his Chicken Chimichanga. The chicken definitely tasted like it was about a couple days past it’s prime. I hate writing reviews like this because I sound like a big complainer — but I’m not. I love this place and I just want you guys to get back to the awesome food that I remember.

I’m actually surprised at the 3 star rating that I see this place has. Parking is fine, the building and decorations are nice. The staff is always friendly even if they are busy or the customer is overly-demanding etc… The food comes out after about 10 – 15 minutes like it should(they cook it you know, it takes time, it’s not instant). The food is amazing and spicy if you wish, and it’s great the next day too. Give this place a shot and I don’t think you will regret it. Get green and red chile chicken enchiladas.

Over priced and way below average food! Just paid $ 18 for a burrito that was very salty and barely had any meat in it and didn’t have the other side I had ordered. Service really sucked as well, even when we were the only ones there. Not going to jack and grill ever again.

This is the second location I have tried. I’ve heard many great things about this place but maybe I should have ordered a Mexican dish instead of a hamburger. As you can see in the picture I took the hamburger was significantly smaller than the bun. At the other location(westminster) the meat equalled the size of the bun if not overlapped it slightly. The service was ok but could have been better. Overall wasn’t that impressed with the south location. Next stop Federal.

Your review helps others learn about great local businesses. Food was ok, not great. Margarita was good & priced well. Would go back four drinks but not to eat. Service was good — think they should decide to be a burger joint noT Mexican, they don’t do Mexican well– pretty bland. Please don’t review this business if you received a freebie for writing this review, or if you’re connected in any way to the owner or employees.

Two stars, only because the wait staff was so kind. Food was bleh. Queso was nacho cheese from the movie theatre and wasn’t warm. Salsa was fine. Chips were standard. Burger was okay, but not warm. Very disappointing experience because this place used to be so delicious. Maybe next time we will just go for drinks. If you’re hungry, walk next door to The Pint Room.

When Jack-n-Grill opened it was a fun spot to dine at. Lots of food and inexpensive prices. I never thought it was 5 star worthy, but it was decent food at a great price. In the last 6 years it has suffered in quality. We would frequent every week or so, but after a hiatus we returned to slouching quality. This concerned me, however the price was right and the food okay. We returned again a year later on 11⁄5 and found the experience sad. They tout their pride in New Mexican food, but sent out rice from the kitchen that was hard and stale and the Carne Asada was chewy and bland. The red chili was decent, but both it and the mediocre green had an odd tinny flavor I couldn’t get past. All in all, I was disappointed and will not be returning to Jack-n-Grill. May your stomachs find happiness elsewhere.

Where else in little Littleton can you get juicy burgers and huge burritos at the same time you get a lot of food for a reasonable price. jack Martinez is the greatest. The wait staff is the greatest! I have to try the 7 pounds burrito one day.

This place serves over priced garbage. Ordered something simple(breakfast — steak and eggs) as I was unsure about the place from the start. When the food came, the beans were dry and tasted like they were canned. The rice was very dry and the hash browns were seriously undercook. The green chili was a joke; all I tasted was pepper. The steak however was cooked to my liking, but far from a steak cut.

They had me at hello! Friendly staff and lots of food. The red and green chili takes me home. I love the calabasitas and Posole. One of my most favorite breakfasts places with a great variety. Excellent hangover food! They take special requests with a smile and I am always greeted like an old friend. I recommend the taco sampler. My «favorite» changes every time I order it!

Food is meh & overpriced. I work close to this location & occasionally pick-up lunch since it’s convenient. Today I ordered a calabacitas taco salad over the phone(what I believed to be on lunch special for $ 8.29). Upon arriving I was charged full-price, nearly $ 12.00. I asked why and the waitress told me that the«veggie» taco salad is on special, not the«calabacitas». This confused me as the calabacitas is the only vegetarian option listed under the Taco Salad section of their menu(which I will also point out is not listed online). I asked what the difference was, and she replied«beans». The veggie taco salad is calabacitas with beans. I had no way of knowing this as it isn’t specified anywhere, and was still charged the full amount. So essentially, I was just charged $ 3.50 for no beans. Pretty disappointed. If you’re looking for delicious Mexican food at a great price, visit Los Dos Potrillos instead.

Stopped in Friday night for dinner after looking for somewhere new to go. Ordered the Therese. First of all, there is no reason for a 10 oz hamburger on an oversized bun. The cheese barely covered the center of patty. It’s also misleading to state fresh green chili when the intent was to add one tiny green chili. I assumed it was green chili sauce. Wrong. The meat was bland and the only real edible part of the burger was the slice of bacon added on top. Service was slow for what appeared to be a slow dining room. It will not be a place I’m returning too but it appears others like it so I’m sure it will stick around longer than it should.

Okay jack n grill. I was pleasantly surprised about dinner. We have not eaten here in over two years because the quality was so bad before. The waitress was attentive. We both had gorditas that were really tastey. And the kids meal was fine too. Jack-n-grill is back in our rotation of restaurants

To stay a was very weak. Shredded beef was slightly warm. No guacamole or sour cream. They charged 1.29 for sour cream, should have been there to start with. There was not enough beans in it. The chips where not fresh or warm. And they had the Gaulle to charge 1.49 for them. The salsa was watery. The only reason I gave it 3 stars the staff was great. I saw most people eating burgers and onion rings. I would not come here for Mexican food. That does not seem to be there specialty. Even know they are a Mexican restaurant. I think this Mexican food was made by someone white. This was the worst Mexican food I have had. I should have realized the Mexican food was not very good. Most of the people here where eating hamburgers. Ending is if you come here for Mexican food, you are a idiot.

I’m on the border of A-OK and Yay! I’m a fan and I’m going to give this place the benefit because the service has always been outstanding. I always find my self in Matts area(bar) and he’s always been great and is the reason I keep coming back. His service and his promptness is great and always seems to go above and beyond. My only reason why I’d say A-OK is because the place doesn’t taste or feel(atmosphere) like authentic Mexican restaurant. However this place has great food and a great happy hour. Try the verity of many tacos(beef/chicken, etc) on happy hour or the BBQ tacos.

This was my first time here and I’m kind of shocked by the poor reviews. I came here to say farewell to s good friend before he departs the country for awhile. I arrived early and sat at the bar. I was quickly taken care of and was offered a food menu and water. No complaints. When the rest of my party arrived the bartender offered immediately to transfer my tab. I insisted on closing at the bar because I’ve worked in the industry and believe the bar deserved the tips. The table service was great also. The service could have been a bit faster. The food was really good though. I got a chicken burrito. Another person got the calabacitas(sp?) which were the best out of he burritos and tacos ordered. The Sopapilla bites where really good to finish everything off. Overall it’s a 4⁄5. The service at the table could have been a bit faster and there was a white spill in the corner of the bathroom. I’d be happy to dine here again.

This place has gone downhill since the last time I was there… which it had already slid further down than from the first time. This place is overpriced, average staff, and not a good representation of New Mexican cuisine. Stuffed sopapillas are supposed to be stuffed, not just sandwiched between two pieces of fry bread. The green chile was typical of Denver… no flavor. The red chile tasted like it was scorched when it was being cooked. I don’t think I am headed back. The next time I get the need for better New Mexican cuisine at more realistic prices, I will head to Little Anita’s or Twisters. Congrats to the restaurant for making it on the food network for a huge burrito. Too bad that is the only gimmick that keeps people coming in the door.

After all the Man vs. Food hype, I don’t know what I was expecting… But something more than what I got. First off, the waitress offered chips and salsa OR a special app with several salsas and queso. We opted for just the chips, but low and behold we got charged $ 2! If you’re going to pimp me for a couple bucks, at least tell me so I can enjoy it. The food… 2 chicken enchiladas and a bowl of green chili. Enchiladas were great, but $ 4 a la cart was a bit much as was the $ 5.95 half bowl of chili. Finally, the exit out the back door was anything but great(I recommend a power washing to get the blood/raw meat smell off the parking lot!) Would I go back? Uh, not a chance!
