I haven’t been here since it changed ownership but they don’t deserve the 1 star the pre pious owner earned. I’ll update again as soon as we visit and stay!

Fresh food made to order. Clean! Great service and cool memorabilia from the 50s everywhere.

The few negative reviews for this specific Dairy Queen are centered on one person, the owner. The negativity surrounds her stealing tips from her employees, to going out of her way to embarrass staff in front of customers to trying to collect .90 cents for an order that her worker rung up wrong. Its easy to see how these things are in fact true after my few encounters with her. A boss/leader that would tell her employee to go collect a measly .90 cents from a customer or pay out of her check is a person who is unfit to lead and has severe mental issues, let alone run a business. Which leads to the reason for posting. I rarely eat here and have nothing to say regarding service due to me very rarely going here. However, the warning is to those that will visit this place to know what type of business is being ran here. My daughter worked for the owner and it is easy to see the link between the way she treats customers to how she treats her employees, her most valuable asset. My daughter quit because of her passive aggressive and harassing work atmosphere. She has this attitude of invincibility because she is the owner. So when I asked her who she reports to, she said«the buck stops here», hence she can say anything she wants to her employees and get away with it. This is a person that takes tips from her employees and treats them like dirt. Do yourself a favor, do not support businesses like this. Say no to the bully and instead, choose wisely and support the businesses that have high ethics and that treat employee’s with dignity and respect and not like cattle. My advise to her is some serious training herself on communication and ethics. This is a nasty lady who has a Waterboy speech impediment, communications classes would serve her well.

This Dairy Queen is like going back in time. They have an old time pinball machine and a weight scale they have an old-timers car show outside too. I almost dropped my rating to 4 stars because the wait time was longer than I expected but the food is delicious — all hand made. Let’s all go to the Dairy Queen!

Every now and then I love to splurge on ice cream and DQ never disappoints to satisfy that craving. Folks are pleasant and service is quick.

Awesome place to have ice cream and great to have family. Fast paced but there are many attractions s to keep yourself busy with.

I live in Minneapolis and have visited this Dairy Queen twice while in town. The service at this location is exceptional. They pay attention to the details, hustle to execute the order, and make a great product. I am a small business owner and both times I have left this location I have been envious and so impressed. Keep up the great work!

This location has a very young staff but have to say that i was impressed by the professionalism of the youngsters. It can seem a little hectic as a few of the workers seemed to be training but they brought our ice cream right out to us and were very polite. The ice cream is just normal DQ but the service is what will always get a better grade in my book.

I’ve been coming to this DQ for almost a decade now. The ice cream is, of course, the same as any Dairy Queen, but this location has a brazier grill which means they offer the almighty flamethrower burger. It is one of the best fast food burgers you’ll ever have — spicy, cheesy, has actual lettuce and tomato on top — and I’m so grateful to be able to get something with a little kick on a regular basis. The fries are kind of tasteless but that’s what the extra side of flamethrower sauce is for! The owner is a very nice lady and they fought hard against corporate to keep the ‘50s décor that makes this particular location so special. They got an old wooden phone booth, a jukebox, and the little tableside jukes as well — very cute. Added bonus: they’ve now merged with Orange Julius!

I am totally biased. Raven our cashier and ice cream mixer was so friendly and competent I thought she was the owner. Best ice cream I have ever tasted.

This DQ doesn’t have a drive-thru(I have to WALK in there? Use my LEGS? Seriously??) but the servers are so friendly and entertaining. Service is so slow though — I think the employees sometimes have a wee bit too much fun! If you’re in a hurry, the larking around can be a bit of a pain, but otherwise, it’s nice to see folks enjoying their work, and taking the time to interact with their customers. I’ll take that over the other cruddy fastfood burger options in the area any time.
