Last time I ate here I was not impressed. My friends food wasn’t even cooked all the way. My meal was good, but wasn’t as impressed as I hoped to be.

I won the free lunch drawing here. Yay me! Went to pick it up and was told I needed to prove that I won by showing a copy of the email on my phone. I offered to prove that I was indeed myself with My ID and afterwards was treated like it bothered them to hand over my food. Guess I didn’t even deserve Bread LOL. My Advice Keep your head down and don’t participate in any drawings at this restaurant unless you want to be treated like a criminal.

Loved the chicken and the Caesar salad, everything is so fresh and homemade — you have to try this place! I’m so glad we did

Excellent Happy Hour specials. We love coming here as a family and leave feeling like we have had some great food and wine at a great price. Vegetarian choices.

I just took a client there to write a contract and have a little privacy, and it was overall a really good experience. My only negative to it is that if you are looking for good beef carpaccio, probably not the place to go as they over cook it with a flame. The Salume Di Giorno was great so that really offset the toughness and quality of the carpaccio. Nice place, but I don’t know that I would go out of my way for it.

Went here for a birthday lunch and the two calzones were cold in the middle. My dish was too salty. I have been here several times and the quality of their dishes varies.

My favorite place around! You won’t be disappointed if you stop by. The food is amazing and the atmosphere is quaint. Open kitchen to watch the chefs, small outdoor patio. Always have had really great service.

Waited 10 minutes no service no water no menus. I recommend just driving by an going to Virgilio’s Texas Roadhouse. Really they don’t deserve any stars.

Small place hidden behind Kipling ave. I had the linguine pollo e carciofi. It was very good. The bread and pesto spread was excellent. Kids loved the pasta dishes. Since this place is small, it can take a while to get seated and to get your food, you have to be willing to wait. One thing that I can’t review is if the food was worth the cost, we were invited here and treated to dinner so no bill for me! Yah! So based solely on taste, the food was good and would try it again.

We have been eating at Bacco Trattoria for years always a 5 star review… unfortunately, the recent menu change removed my wife’s 2 favorite dishes and changed preparation on my favorite dishes. The server mentioned Chef Christian was looking for some changes(bored maybe). We wish he looked for some changes by adding specials rather than an over haul of the menu. Still good, but we thought the dishes were better before.

What a great find! I stumbled on this family owned Italian restaurant and was blown away. Everything is fresh and pretty much made right in front of you — from the appetizers, to the main entrée’s to the desserts. Plus the service was outstanding. Our server was able to help pair some good wines with our meal. I look forward to a return visit.

Conveniently situated just off C-470, the small Bacco Trattoria will be a big hit for those people who want good Italian. Most notably, their menu is huge! There are lots of choices. Plenty of wines, appetizers, soups, salads, pastas, entrees, and desserts, are available. The pasta is doughy, homemade, and very tasty. Portions are reasonable. You could certainly save some for a future meal but you could also finish it happily without feeling overly stuffed. Admittedly, the service is a little less attentive than you may like. That’s partially because it’s small and few waiters work there. Mind you, because it’s small doesn’t mean that it’s loud but you will be close to the other diners and the restaurant is not setup for a romantic dinner. Additionally, if you haven’t made reservations, you will find yourself waiting in a tiny waiting area where you have to dodge other customers and employees. If you want good Italian and good past, Bacco Trattoria is a great place. You will find the trek their worth the tasty and well-priced food.

2.5 Stars for food, but 3 stars for service. I really want this place to be great, but it is just okay. Service was good, and so is the fire roasted artichoke. My wife really wanted scallops, but there were out. It was a Wednesday night, but maybe everyone ordered the scallops that night. The wife settle for chicken saltimbocca, and it was pretty good. Since it was not what she really wanted, she wasn’t satisfied. I had the veal piccata, but it was not good. Both meals were served lukewarm. The sauce had no acidity, and was completely broken. I really couldn’t eat it. The veal was also very chewy. Great potential, but the execution just isn’t there. Café Jordano is a better option for Italian on the west side of town, even if you have to wait.

The shrimp scampetti appetizer was amazing you have to try and my kids loved their chicken and mashed potatoes and spaghetti and meatballs. We have found a little taste of Italy here.

Dined here for the first time, because my husband’s coworker said was amazing. We shared a few tapas, lasagna and cannoli. Our waiter, Philip, was enthusiastic, friendly, and attentive. I definitely appreciate that! Avocado Bruschetta was nice. Unfortunately the rest of the food wasn’t impressive. Lasagna had no cheese, salami plate not great… and cannoli was worst we’ve had. Shell was hard as a rock and the filling was not traditional, or tasty. That being said, we will likely go back and try some of the pastas Philip recommended and give it another chance. Great service and atmosphere compensated for disappointment of food. Also liked happy hour wine prices.

This place is a nice casual restaurant. It is not a fancy overpriced woopty Doo Italian restaurant but the food is phenomenal! They probably could charge twice as much. The place is open and small and you can see the chef cooking your food in front of you since they have a open kitchen. If you are looking for phenomenal Italian food and you want to pay a decent price and not pay through the nose for atmosphere. This is the place to go. It’s usually open for lunch and dinner hours and Fridays and Saturday evenings are packed. I think the person who created the menu originally was a top chef from Italy.

I read the reviews. I was excited. Real Italian? In Littleton? We went at 4:30 on a Friday. Place was empty and we were the first people there. Wine list was Ok– not what I expected, but Ok– it’s a suburb strip mall joint. We needed a minute after getting the menu. We got 20. The wait staff had better things to do apparently. She and the other server were chatting. Ordered the Valpolicella– wine was WARM. I realized they have their wine caddy on the wall adjoining the kitchen. Ordered an app which was good, and dinner which was average to poor. The eggplant was thicky, seedy and pulpy. Not cooked all the way. Lobster ravioli tasted… dated. Since the ktichen is open, we peered in and saw a cook(very young– high school?) wipe out a pan with a dish rag, bang it IN the garbage can to loosen debris, and the use it on the pan again. Sad and so grossed out. Will never eat here again. If they can deliver what the menu promises, that would be good. Poor service, poor food and not worth the time or money.

Wow! Amazing Italian food right across the parking lot from a huge competitor… which I have also reviewed a few times. Somehow I managed to miss this little gem just a few steps away. Service — amazing. Our server knew absolutely every dish on the menu and everything was superior in taste and preparation to their competitor across the street. The waitress has worked at this establishment for 6 years– she was really knowledgeable and helpful because the menu is definitely broad! Food– The bread and pesto that comes as a starter can fill you up alone! We also ordered several of the appetizer/tapas plates… amazing! For dinner, I had a salmon dish with gnocchi tossed in pesto– looked amazing and tasted soo good! We also had the sausage risotto– it had a sweet balsamic glaze that I just couldn’t believe how amazing the flavor profile was… I haven’t sat and just enjoyed a bite of food like I did this dish in such a long time. There were two other dishes that were equally amazing for dinner. Dessert — can’t go wrong with the tiramisu… and the portion is huge! Also we had the mascarpone cannoli… yum! This place is certainly a step above the rest… check it out for sure. It will be a staple in my local dining from now on!

I ventured into Bracco Trattoria with a couple of friends last Friday night for an early dinner. After driving by and seeing it for years and hearing another friend and co-worker rave about it, I had high hopes for some yummy, traditional Italian food of the non-chain variety. Man, was dinner super disappointing(and VERY expensive)!! First, the wine list. So very lacking in imagination and so very run-of-the-mill for an independent Italian restaurant. Yes, there are a few good offerings, but it’s the same-old same-old here. Second, the bread and pesto. The bread was so dry I felt like I needed to dunk it in my water glass. The pesto? More like a mouthful of pureed parsley and grass. No basil flavor. No nutty flavor. Just ick. We started with the Avocado Bruchette. It was passable. The sweet chili sauce was okay, but tasted much like something you’d get out of the specialty food aisle at King Soopers. The avocado was mushy. It was served on the same dried out bread that we were given when we sat down. We all ordered salads/soups. I enjoyed my Caprese Salad, and I think my friend also enjoyed her Argugula Salad(although the pancetta was inedible because it soaked up all of the lemon dressing on the plate). The Minestrone Soup that was ordered by my friend’s husband? Not enjoyed and tasted canned. I tried it too. Yuck. For dinner, we ordered the Lasagna, the Salmon Estivo, and the Capesante Rustico. After waiting nearly 30 minutes for our entrees, the Lasagna was promptly sent back to the kitchen. My friend’s had ordered it and was able to take only one bite. It was bland, and frozen-food tasting. The waiter didn’t ask if he’d like to choose something else, he just took the plate away. What? The salmon on my friend’s plate was totally overcooked, as were my scallops(mmmmm…rubbery seafood!), although the sauce was fairly tasty, but with no hint of sage as was described on the menu. The pancetta was super fatty and cheapy pancetta. I didn’t eat it. The gnocci was passable, but nothing special. Throughout dinner, we had to flag our waiter down time and again, as well as the gentleman who was supposed to be refiling drinks, etc. Bad service, horrible food, and a long wait for it all = not coming back. We even skipped dessert even though this dinner was a birthday celebration dinner. Boo, Bracco Trattoria. Boo.

Small, super casual and more the environment of a sandwich shop than fine restaurant, although you wouldn’t know it by the total of our bill. Looking to explore a new place, it was our first visit here to meet old friends for appetizers, salads, entrees, wine, and… well, we never got to desserts because they thought we were taking too long to enjoy our evening with friends, and asked us all to leave so they could sit another party. The waiter dropped the check on the table and asked us to come back another time. That’s a first! Never to return! If you go here — Eat & Get Out! That’s their motto.
