Had Lasik years ago and only went to an eye doctor as my regular doc said I should get my eyes checked every once in a while…
Had no loyalty so called and checked prices with optometrists in the area that didn’t really specialize solely in eye glass sales.
Advanced wasn’t the cheapest, but was about the only place I called that didn’t start trying to sell me on various products over the phone on that initial call.
The exam with Dr. Stanga was a nice experience. He took his time and seemed to be sincerely appreciative of all my questions. He thoroughly explained the whole process and his observations all without trying to sell a single thing. Surprised me when he referred me to the big box stores for the cheapo reader glasses.
Should the need arise for glasses or other eye care I would definitely go back!

Dr Stanga is professional, very good to work with. However, the staff — not so much. They will tell you anything to make you leave. The lab did not provide the glasses requested. Find another place — others are better.

I’ve been going to this office since 2010, and I think Dr Stanga took over in 2011 or 2012. He is indescribably pleasant, patient, and understanding. The prior guy was less patient and helpful, but Stanga is the real deal. He gives you as much time as you need to understand what he’s doing to/​for you, gives you lots of options re: how he’ll conduct various tests. He may be the politest person I have ever met.
They don’t always stock the frames I prefer, but I highly recommend Dr Stanga. He’s great.

Dr Stanga is truly exceptional with children, I’m very happy he took over this practice.
