I think they raised their prices, it’s good but $ 16 for general tsos chicken ?! I hope its all white, no hormones. I thought Chinese food was supposed to be inexpensive. Either way I don’t think I’ll be going back do to increased costs.

Just another shout out for LSR our go to Chinese food joint for the past 15 years or more. Many of the same staff still there all these years so you can imagine the expert friendly service we receive. And, the food fahgettaboudit — yes indeed we are YUGE fans…

Got take out from there last night. My daughter said the Won Ton soup tasted funny, but ate it anyway. About 30 min later she was in gastric distress. Returned the second pint this morning and they only wanted to give me the money back for one because I was only returning one! I explained that ITMADEHERSICK and I wanted the money back for both! Finally they agreed but didn’t want to give me back my credit card receipt. Couldn’t believe it. Finally got that back. Not going there ever again.

This place is very good. Try the cashew chicken. It’s tasty! The spare ribs were perfectly basted and not fatty — all meat. The steamed dumplings were hearty. We also had egg rolls, shrimp lo mein and pork fried rice. We’ll be back once our food comas subside.

I love this place so much. Everything I have eaten here is just how I remember chinese food as a kid before it became more of a quick serve genre. Whenever I am in town I have to hit Little Szechuan up. Everything tastes homemade and the service is friendly. Highly recommended.

The duck sauce here is so good I want to fill up a swimming pool with it. Plus I love the tea. But really though, that duck sauce.

The Chinese food here is excellent ! It’s BYOB which helps cut costs though otherwise the meals are not cheap since all side dishes are extra. The service is very good. On a weekend night you may have to wait for a table since its rather small but it’s worth the wait.

Classy luncheon located at Picturesque Little Silver station. Not sure why the mention of Schzeuan as couldn’t find an item in the menu. Weekday meal was satisfactory with Noodles and rice. Gotta comment that it is not an Authentic one as this missed the spiciness levels and panders to the American foodies. Go without any espedereiind and you won’t be surprised why there was a single page menu.

We have been going here for years! The staff is so nice. These guys bust hump to move as quickly as they can especially on weekends when it’s super busy. I don’t think I’ve gotten a dish I didn’t like. It’s always consistent and you can’t go wrong. It’s basically the only Chinese take out/dine in restaurant we go to.

Best Chinese restaurant in the area. I come with my family quite often. Be sure to arrive early. If not, you’ll be waiting around for the table. This place fills up fast! As for the food, you can’t go wrong! My family always get the a bunch of dishes to share. Especially good are the shredded beef with garlic sauce, the Kung Pao chicken, and the shrimp/garlic combo plate. Before you know it, you’ll be stuffed. The orange slices are a great way to clear the palate and end the meal. Highly recommend!

This used to to be a great restaurant years ago, so I stopped in for lunch a few weeks back. What a disappointment! Food was bland and not good quality at all, to say the least. It has joined the pack of thousands of other cheap faux Chinese restaurants taylored to what they perceive as Americans wanting. Not sure, but smells like an owner change, or two, or … Wouldn’t pay good money to eat here again.

Everything we had here was excellent with the exception of their dumplings which were a bit thick and doughy. The tea that comes with all meals is a nice touch as is the oranges at the meal end. Atmosphere is nice and calming, and the service is polite and efficient. Overall a great reasonably priced place to eat.

Came here for the first time today. Delicious food! I had the lunch special. They were kind enough to oblige me with chicken in spicy garlic sauce(as opposed to pork) with egg drop soup and white rice. Everything was delicious. I usually don’t give out 5 star ratings, but the price to value ratio of this place knocks it out of the park. I don’t think they realized that they just made a new regular out of me.

The best Chinese food in the area by far. I tried most of the Chinese restaurants in Monmouth county but Little Szechuan Restaurant has the best tasting food. I started my quest when I got an urge for Peking Duck. I’m not working in NYC so Chinatown isn’t an option. There was another Chinese restaurant on 35 where 5 Guys is now that sold Peking Duck but they’re gone. After checking the menus of a lot of Chinese restaurants, I found that Little Szechuan Restaurant sold Peking Duck for two for about $ 30. I went on a weekend for lunch and even though they don’t normally serve duck for lunch they were happy to accommodate me. My party of three consisted of two duck eaters and one person who ordered a pork dish. Everything was delicious. The Peking Duck is prepared tableside and the waiter expertly wrapped about 8 pancakes. The legs and wings we took home. The pork was moist(velvety) and flavorful. I’m quick to review restaurants I don’t like but Little Szechuan Restaurant deserves a solid positive review. I don’t even live in the same town but it’s worth the extra 10 minute drive to get there.

This is a nice clean place to enjoy a meal or get takeout. It is the best Chinese restaurant around so make a reservation on the weekend too avoid waiting for a table. The food is good, I always get the Szechuan beef. It has a nice spice. The pork fried rice and pork dumplings are also yummy.

Take out order Quart of won ton soup. Soup was excellent, not overpowering or overly salty, very good. egg rolls — Egg rolls were crisp and not soggy. Roast pork with Chinese Vegetables — Pork was good, not too salty and the sauce was perfect. We needed to find another Chinese restaurant as the one we last ordered from was not good.

Coming from NYC its hard for me to give this place a good review… I ordered the tofu and veggies lunch special to go. What a small portion they give you for almost $ 8! Not to mention I asked for it to be spicy, and it wasnt. Little amount of tofu, bland sauce and not even good rice. My rice was a little crunchy? Possibly a little undercooked or just old? Also ordered the beef and brocc. lunch special. Again, nothing special, tiny tiny portion with just a bland flavour. Overall, overpriced, and not worth the money. But I guess if its all you have in the area and your craving chinese food its an option.

FANTASTIC! The Chinese gentlemen and ladies who work there are incredibly nice. I’ve heard they all commute from New York every day just to work here. I love everything on their menu. They do a very nice job preparing their food and it always tastes fresh.

Still the best Chinese food around! The service is on point, the food is always fresh and the line on a fri or sat night is always long! This place somehow finds away to excel in almost every thing I’ve had there. I’ve been going there for 3 yrs now prob 25 or so times and have never had a bad meal! The moo shoo, veggie dumplings and boneless ribs are by far the best I’ve ever had
