My son and I really enjoy going here during the summer. With our season passes we will hit the water about a dozen times. Just remember to get a locker!!!

This was the first time I have ever visited the park. I went on a weekday cause I dont like dealing with huge crowds and it paid off. Now I havent been to a water park in over 20 years and the ones I went to were much larger, however being from memphis this is the only water park within a reasonable distance so it served its purpose. The wave pool, lazy river and slides were all fine, my kids enjoyed them, however I do not recommend any of the food items as they are way over priced and of poor quality. The shaved ice as they call it isnt shaved ice at all, its just ice that they scoop from where they gets ice for the drinks and grind it up into small pellet size pieces, they flvorings were not very good at all either and tasted very water down as they did not put very much on them. As for the staff member running the snack shack, I dont know if he was sick or just tired but I had to say something to get his attention as he was just standing there with his head on the counter. I beleive I will go back, like I said its the only water park within a resonable distance from Memphis, tn, however this time I will bring our own lunch and we will just get our hands stamped and go eat outside of the park and just pay for drinks while in.

My wife, myself and my 1 year old son visited Wild River Country on July 4th2014. We chose this date because as active duty military members our entry was free. My first impression was that the landscaping was nicely done with little gardens and a welcoming entrance. We paid around $ 18 for a large locker but received $ 5 back once we left the park and turned the key in. The park itself was smaller than I had imagined. Due to having my son we didn’t ride any big slides. We did Get in the lazy river which was far shorter and shallower than I expected. The wave pool was big and fun but can be pretty intense when the waves do start to roll. I te come d staying in the shallow end if your not a strong swimmer. However I do feel they had plenty of lifeguards on duty invade of emergency. The food was way over priced and very poor quality. Another reviewer noted ally of the snack Shacks were closed and we ran into the same thing. Overall a fun afternoon and a good place to cool off. Had I paid full price I would have been a little disappointed as I think the rates are a bit high for the size of the park. I have only been to one other place similar to this one in Cape Coral Florida called Sun splash. I don’t recall the rates as it’s been years since I went but the park seemed much larger. So would I go back? Probably the next Fourth of July if free tickets are offered. Otherwise I would probably save my money

Visited for the 1st time yesterday. We used our Groupon Deal. Got a family of 4 package for only $ 55. It’s about a 2 ½ hour drive from Memphis. I give this place 3 stars because it was actually smaller than I thought it would be and also a lot of the smaller ‘sweet shacks’ throughout the park were closed. The shacks sell ice cream and cold treats, there was the main restaurant that served burgers, hot dogs, nachos etc. Also the locker rental is extremely high! The smaller lockers are $ 11 and can only fit about 1 or 2 people’s belongings. Of course it was 4 of us and we had to get a larger locker for around $ 18 I think. The price is high, however, they give you $ 5 back when you turn in your key. Overall we had a really nice time. Although all together the park had only about 10 – 12 slides in its entirety. They had other activities such as volleyball and basket ball also. It’s a lot of fun on those slides and you get really, really wet. The pool goes to 8ft only which I think is safe and there were plenty of lifeguards on stand by. It’s family friendly and also good for groups. Minus the few little things I did not like, I still enjoyed myself. I do think that in the future they should expand and add a few more attractions

Old park and it shows. Could use a cleaning and renovation. Price was average for what you get as is the staff. Locker area stinks like urine and smoke. Rides are short and dated. It’s an average place and not worth a season pass. We bought the afternoon pass on line and paid $ 57 for three people. Would I go back? Only if it’s the last choice on a day of a 110 temps.
