Great food and atmosphere, at a surprisingly good price. The décor is nice, and the staff are pleasant and helpful. Lunch on Mother’s Day was a real treat.

This is a sumptuously appointed neighborhood restaurant with excellent French food. For appetizers, we enjoyed the onion soup, and a delicious salad. For mains, the duck confit was well prepared, and the cassoulet is highly recommended. Service was great. A real find in the Heights. Loved it!

First time visit was excellent. The wait staff was superb! Atmosphere was very pleasant. The pan seared salmon was quite tasty. I travel extensively and it is rare and pleasing to find a restaurant such as Terry’s. A fine dining experience that I highly recommend! A great place to take someone that you want to impress.

Surprisingly Great French food in Little Rock, AR. Excellent escargot and pâté. Perfectly cooked duck breast w cranberry coulis. Limited, but solid wine list that was very reasonably priced. My new favorite place in LR!

My boyfriend and I have eaten here several times — every time it has been EXCELLENT. We love it and so far I have greatly enjoyed every meal I’ve ever had there. Hands down, some of the best desserts in Little Rock have been here — which they do change up, they aren’t always the same. The poached pear… I’ve had dreams about that one. Delish! The place is quiet & tasteful and though you don’t necessarily need reservations, I’d consider it before just showing up — especially if you have a party of 4 or more. A lady from work took me here the first time as a gesture of appreciation for something that I did for her — and I raved about it until my boyfriend said«let’s go». I highly recommend this place for someone who is looking for a local place that thus far, has been extremely consistent with great service, great food and a nice ambiance. FYI — I don’t think this place requires jackets or anything like that… but not so sure I’d be wearing shorts and tanks in here, either. It’s upscale casual. Older kids, fine. But this isn’t the best locale for the youngsters that get restless or want to run around. Great date night place, however!

As other reviewers mention, this is a quiet /quaint restaurant with a very nice /upscale atmosphere. Enjoyed our anniversary dinner here this weekend. Service was good. Would order the spinach salad, mushroom soup, scallops and Dover sole again. Scallops were the best we’ve had — seared perfectly to our taste. Will give crème brûlée another chance though. The flavor was good, but cool on the bottom and chewy top vs crisp. Wife found new favorite Pinot Gris — Schlumberger Alsatian.

Wow, Terry’s has to be the greatest restaurant in LR. Start off with the watermelon salad or their incredible Caesar salad. As far as entrees go, the duck breast is hands down, the best duck breast I have ever had. It came with okra and the most flavorful mushrooms in the world. Also, the seared Ahi tuna with roasted corn and quinoa is ridiculously flavorful. The wine selection is unparalleled. The entrees range from $ 20 – 35. Very affordable for the quality and service that is provided. Go there!

This gem is tucked away in the Heights! The menu has so much to offer and the chef delivers on the flavor of each dish! I went there for a romantic dinner and the ambiance was just was I hoped for: low lighting, quiet atmosphere for intimate conversation and beautiful décor. We started out with Escargot and baked Brie and while both were good the Brie was divine! My date had the pork medallions and she raved about them for days. I had the lamb and it was cooked to perfection! The sides and salads were fresh from the garden and seasoned well! While expensive, it is worth every dollar spent! Great wait staff and their service was impeccable !

The Turkey Pear Crêpe was delicious and the overall meal was just magnificent! It wasn’t too crowded for Saturday brunch and the décor was very tastefully done. While you’re there, check out the grocery store side as well, and you’ll really appreciate the artisanship that comes with the local area’s small businesses.

Pretty good food and a quiet atmosphere. However, my credit card statement showed that I was charged three times the meal price. After three phone calls and help from a friend, I was able to get the charge reversed and corrected. A simple apology was in order, but that never happened.

Best meal I’ve had in a long time. I can cook pretty well but this was outstanding. Duck breast with an okra, shitake mushroom, tomato mélange as a side. Could not have been better. .

My friend and I went in for lunch on a whim. I had heard of Terry’s but never actually knew where it was. When we got there we were greeted by our waitress, Darcy, who sat us promptly telling us we could sit wherever we’d like. Extremely sweet waitress. Brewed a fresh pot of coffee for us, which only required cream — great stuff! This is a «splurge» sort of restaurant, not something my friend and I can do every week but we both agreed we’d be back. We ordered homemade pâté to start. My friend who was born in France was impressed… nuff said. It came with delicious sliced baguette along with gherkin pickles and a little jar of mustard. I had got the Croque Madame and my friend got the pan seared salmon. I wish my Croque was a little crispier on the bread, but the thin homemade pomme frites were great. Ketchup came in a little jar… so classy. The pan seared salmon came with a caprese salad. My friend said she’s used to having just a basil leaf on top of the mozzarella drizzled with some olive oil, but the restaurant’s fresh pesto was a nice substitute. Despite the fact the food was very good, the thing that makes us want to come back was the atmosphere of the restaurant and the excellent service we received. Our waitress was attentive to the point where she wasn’t hovering, but I didn’t need to grab her attention. Her kindness and hospitality shined through(boss man, if you’re reading this… she definitely deserves a raise!) The restaurant itself was welcoming and comfortable. My friend and I felt a little under dressed in a sweatshirt and jeans, but the clientele seems to be a little more upscale. Nonetheless we were welcomed and given the same service as anyone else. The restaurant had dim lighting, sort of older feeling furniture that made you feel like you were in someone’s wealthy grandparent’s house… that’s a good thing though. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Not sure if we could afford dinner, but lunch is reasonable and we will definitely be back!

This hidden French restaurant in the Heights that is attached to Terry’s Finer Foods. Terry’s is actually a gourmet grocery store but behind it they have a small French restaurant that only has a few tables and it’s a very intimate atmosphere and the food is amazing.

One of the finest NY strips I’ve had in little rock. agree the service was average at best. Wife’s wine glass still had scent of dish soap. Pay attention to the little things and they easily get an extra star.

From 3÷15÷14 We brought two bottles of wine. A 2011 Benzinger obsidian point cab and a 2012 Enkidu Sav. blanc. Since I did not make them the reservations I was hoping the food was going to be as delicious as the wines we brought. Indeed, the escargot was wonderful and baked Brie was very nice as well. For the mains, our fillets were great and on point w/our cab. One point though– our server was not interested as much as we were with the food. Not that it mattered bc it was a busy Saturday nite and dessert was next. We all shared two desserts between the four of us. Mmmm! Thanks Terry’s!!!

I’d like the table by the detergent please… So this spot is an interesting one, set up inside of a market, but a fine restaurant none the less. They have great steaks, decent duck, friendly and enthusiastic service. If anyone I know is traveling through Little Rock, I’d definitely recommend this spot.
