I would give negative stars if I could. this was the worst $ 60 no lesson painting experience I’ve ever walked out of before we even got started. I went to enjoy a lovely ladies night on an open canvas evening(open canvas nights are nights that no class directions are given and the painters are just given a canvas and some paint and go to it). When I arrived I learned that even though there was no instruction, and the cost was the same, we were only given a 9×12 board to paint on unless we paid $ 10 more to upgrade to a canvas. Seemed like a gyp, but I paid for the upgrade so I could hang my painting at home. Then I made the mistake of painting! Apparently, even though no instruction was being given to the open canvas patrons, we were not allowed to paint until the patrons who were taking a class were allowed to paint. ??? And if you make my mistake, you can expect to be loudly called out on it and reprimanded… she even stopped the teacher for the other class to do it! Then, the owner spied that i had sketched a template on the canvas for one of my friends upon my friend’s request. The owner told my friend that it wasn’t allowed and TOOKTHECANVASAWAY. saying that no one was allowed to help her. WTF??? Didn’t we pay to come have a good time here??? Needless to say, I won’t be spending any more money to let this power hungry lousy business owner tell me what I can and cannot do on my own or my friend’s PAIDFOR painting.

Had a blast, although I’m not artistic I enjoyed painting a masterpiece. Fun easy and relaxing all while painting. Don’t be afraid to try this place very easy and it’s designed for people like me who have no clue on art.

This business is full of promises. They create contest to get likes on facebook and then doesnt follow thru. I have a friend that won the contest one month and then she got canceled classes and rushed out even though she wasnt done painting. The owner is childish, I brought to her attention that I had done what they asked for the contest to which it took 4 days for a response and i had a class with them that night, where i was ignored and never spoken to from the owner who is also the greeter and bartender. There is also price gouging on the wine, but if you bring your own she will charge you $ 10 per bottle to open them. The other painting places have no charge like this. I would never recommend this to anyone. Go to painting with a twist or spirited arts to get painting. Thank you for your time.
