This fits the bill of thoroughly mediocre Asian food downtown. Expect average prices, average service, and completely mediocre food. Their sushi options are more rice than«fish”– and their Korean menu section is not very good. I did like their Chinese style options, but none of them justify a return visit.

Genuinely FRESH sushi? In Little Rock? YES!!! This s my go-to lunch spot. I mean, I could eat the tuna tataki bento box every day. It’s really that good! But then… I wouldn’t get to eat Chef’s stellar sushi and sashimi! And that would just kill me! :) My hubby is retired US Navy, and spent a lot of years in the Orient, and he says this is the most«authentic» Japanese food he’s had since coming stateside. MOST sushi is… «Americanized», and that’s okay, but if you are looking to transport to mainland Japan for lunch or dinner, go to Hanaroo. The food is awesome, cocktails are well-made, the saki is warm and rich, and the Sapporo is cold enough to make your teeth ache(a good thing in my book!)!!

I’m not sure if the special ever changes. The Fried Salmon and Cream Cheese roll is amazing !!!

I am giving this one star because our waitress was absolutely unprofessional and RUDE to customers. She was offended when we asked a question about the rolls, and was rolling her eyes and looking the other direction when we were talking to her. Severe attitude with every encounter as if we were such a bother to her. sorry we came into your restaurant to give you business. I hate to give a bad review to what might be good food, but the service left us with a sour taste to say the least.

Very basic sushi. Nothing special about it.

The sushi at this restaurant is good! The fish is fresh and tasty, not something I expected to find in Arkansas. I didn’t try any other sushi restaurants in little rock, but I also wouldn’t have driven out to get sushi at a different place. I was happy with all the rolls I ordered.

Absolutely love this place. Best sushi I’ve ever had, both in LR and beyond. Don’t be put off by the atmosphere — it is a little quiet and in an older building. There are always free appetizers and it’s the touches like that which make this place exceptional. A humble yet impressive sushi place!

This is the best ratio of quality: cost of sushi in Little Rock. In fact, it may even be the best sushi overall. I think their sushi is superior to many fancier/more expensive places. It’s a cozy interior with friendly staff. I recommend sitting at the sushi bar and chatting with the chefs to get their recommendations. Definitely get the agedashi tofu — they make some of the best I’ve ever had. And obviously cuts vary, but the salmon nigiri here has always been fatty and heavenly. The yakisoba noodles are the only thing I’ve had here that have been kind of meh. I posted pictures of their menu since they don’t have a takeout menu.

The menu had a lot of choices I’ve not seen and seemed to be a larger selection than I’m accustomed to. The sushi was fantastic, seriously I’d say the best I’ve had in Arkansas. The only thing that makes this place less than stellar is the environment and general ambiance, its not fancy in the slightest, but they obviously aren’t trying to be. What they are is a great place to get awesome food at good price in a very casual setting.

Maybe for sushi in Arkansas this is good but I’m not impressed. Tuna tasted off a bit like it wasn’t fresh. The soup and salads were fine but fish dishes were way below average.

The food was great! The restaurant isn’t the prettiest… but the food and service more than make up for it!

Fried rice is salty. No Good! It takes so long to get your order cooked if you get in there on busy day

Arrived about 6:30 pm and I thought they were closed since it was completely empty, then a waitress welcomed me in, it is Monday but being empty at 6:30 is not a good indication… I ordered my beer and service was fast and friendly, beer was very cold and came with a frozen glass! So far this is good. Boy they have sushi: 50+ specialty rolls! My kind of place, I ordered the yellow tuna sushi and was very good and big enough. The fish tasted fresh and the people at the sushi bar were friendly. You wont find nothing unusual, and at the same time this is bad. I believe sushi to be an art, and as any art you have the ones that copy it and the ones that create it. This place is a very good place for copying this art, and trust me for many this will be enough, there is nothing bad with it, but nothing new either. Would I come back… hell yes! would it be my ultimate sushi place? far from it. Are you craving some sushi? this is definitely the place to be. Are you looking for new gastronomic orgasms? move on.

Their bento box lunch cannot be beat! For $ 10 bucks you get 5 pieces of sashimi(usually salmon and one other kind of fish), a very generous portion of tuna tataki, edamame, potato salad, green salad with ginger-carrot dressing, miso soup and rice… I might be forgetting something but you get the idea — order this and you will leave STUFFED and HAPPY!

I stopped in for a late lunch, just wanted one roll of sushi. When I first walked up to the door I was a little hesitant to walk in! I’m glad I did. I had the spicy crab roll & it was wonderful!
