My roommate had a ham shipped to our house in Dallas and ITWASDELICIOUS. It had a sweet honey taste and was best at room temperature. My mouth is watering just writing about it. It will definitely be my go to next time I need/want ham.

Pretty good barbecue. Most amazing green beans I’ve ever had! Pretty good and standard sour cream potato salad which I love as well

Been here about 10x and I only get 1 thing, the bbq spud with shrooms. The idea to put cheese dip on a potato. Completely knocks my socks off. It’s my favorite bbq food to get when I crave BBQ and cheese in one! The staff is always polite, they never mess up when I order an unsweet tea too.

Decent food for the price. Terrible service… She had a bad attitude from the beginning. Large groups mean easy automatic tips which is a shame because you don’t have to do your job.

Food is not bad but service is horrible. In large parties, forget it. Had to ask where the rest of our order was three times.

Corky’s has the best potato salad and the pulled pork sandwich is delicious as well. I love that they have a drive thru window. It makes picking up potato salad for parties easy and fast.

The only thing I liked was my Coke. The brisket was overcooked and chewy, just plain inedible. Baked potato was just barely warm. I dont know how they managed this, but the onion inside the onion rings was cold although the outside coating was crunchy albeit just room temp. There were ants on the table throughout the meal. The ladies room was absolutely disgusting and filthy as was the floor in the north room. Saw a comment box but no cards to fill out or I would have written my displeasure. Total waste of $ 20, except for the soda.

On Friday March 20th after the UAMS Match Day our group of 17 went to Corky’s for lunch. The service and food were great. I had ribs. Daughter had BBQ sandwich. Spouse had catfish. Others had wraps, burgers, salads, spuds, even grilled cheese sandwiches. It was great

Great food but the service was terrible. UALR’s assistant coach would be mortified if he knew his business was being run in such fashion. It’s a shame a few bad seeds can ruin the quality and experience of an otherwise great establishment. Let me be clear to everyone that reads this review, the food is quality.

This was a very disappointing meal. We had a table of four. Two of us chose the combination platter and had the pork, chicken and sausage with the Mac and cheese, fries and corn cob. All was inedible but the chicken. One person ordered the brisket with Cole slaw and mashed potatoes. The sides were delish. But the«brisket» was pulled roast beef also inedible. Our 4th order was the BBQ spud was well received and would order again. Only highlight of this whole visit were the dinner rolls but unfortunately not enough to return.

Corky’s is flat out delicious. We had a group of 10 walk-in and were accommodated within 5 minutes,(somehow because the place seemed full when we arrived). Because our group has been known to share plates of food, we ordered Ribs, Chopped pork with bread, Fried Chicken, and Fried Catfish with all the sides. Oh My Lord!!! Pass the sauce! When the plates came out, the aroma had everybody grabbing everything. After about a minute, all you could hear from our noisy bunch… was…‘mmm…mmmhmmm. and uh huh”!!! Great Food. side note: I’m shocked reading some of these other reviews… don’t know what they’re talking about.

Wow! Leaving a non-fast food restaurant full and with leftovers for less than $ 20 is pretty impressive! We came here to try some Southern BBQ and were not disappointed. They also give you a basket of absolutely tasty buttered rolls. The BBQ sauce was not phenomenal, but everyone’s opinion is different. Huge portions for low prices.

Great service! Ample parking, Wall mounted flat screen TV’s for sports lovers and comfortable seating. Décor is varied memorabilia with a sports influence in the bar, cozy subdued lighting in the main dining room and lots of open sky in the glass walled atrium. Prices vary, but are quite reasonable given portion sizes and overall quality. A really broad menu of catfish, ribs, smoked turkey, beef, pork and several chicken choices with a good selection of vegetables to go with. Good salad and appetizer menus plus an interesting selection of other Mexican and American dishes like spaghetti and meatballs or a big tamale plate? We started with onion rings which appeared to not be food service stuff but real hand sliced and battered fresh onions. They were almost too hot to pickup when served. The four of us indulged in ribs, catfish, brisket and a smoked turkey salad. There was very little left to take home as it was all too good not to finish. The smashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, BBQ beans and hot rolls were all very tasty, hot and decently prepared. I sampled each dish before writing this and they were all very good. Three of our party had glasses of wine and I had 50⁄50 sweetened and unsweetened tea which was just right for me. Drink prices are quite reasonable and their selection of beers and wines, while not broad, appears to be at least adequate. Our food was on the table quickly and one additional plate was added for a split on the catfish/ribs plate-no extra plate charge. We all enjoyed our food and finished up with some excellent peach cobbler before our retreat. The food was well prepared and presented without much fuss… everything was cooked well and, fried or not, wasn’t oily or greasy. Dinner for four with an appetizer, wine and dessert was right at $ 80 including a decent tip…$ 20 each isn’t bad given the excellent quality of the food and service. Service was attentive and friendly with no mistakes or excuses… excellent bartender/waitperson/busser. Corky’s is a good example of Arkansas at its best in most every respect. If you are passing through town, its well worth the short drive from the freeway. If you live here you are lucky to have a place like this.

Well, to start, lets discuss Corky’s food. Its good for the prices they charge. No complaints here. The Corky’s location I’m reviewing is the Little Rock location. Now, to preface this, we have 25 – 30 people come to this location every Tuesday at 11:30 to meet and have lunch in one of their dinning rooms… Where I will call them out is with their day managers, Carla and Casey. We have been bringing a group to their restaurant for a couple months with no issues to date. One day, I discuss the seating arrangement with Carla and how it would be optimal for our groups weekly meetings. That’s where things went south before our next meeting. I receive a call from Carla that she arranged our tables the way we requested but, that we would start having to pay $ 50 to use the room in the future. When I called back, Casey answered the phone(another manger) and said that Carla discussed the following with him as to why we needed to pay a $ 50 room fee next time. Casey/Carla: We had people not ordering food when we had our meeting Rebuttal — Not true. Everyone ordered food except for 1 person, a lady who doesn’t eat lunch… Casey/Carla: The waters/waitresses are not making enough in tips Rebuttal — Hmm. lets see. We have 25 people ordering food with an average check of $ 10(food drink) and Corky’s adds an automatic gratuity«per ticket» of 20%. So, thats $ 250 in food with a guaranteed $ 50 in tips for the waiter/waitress. She said they were only getting like $ 20. Sounds like creative math to me! Bottom line: Joe Kline and partners are now out +/-$ 12,000-$ 15,000 annually in revenue because their management staff is group hostile. Not only will our group not return there for meetings, but most of our 25 members voiced they didn’t like the treatment and won’t be back either. I sure hope that Corky’s Little Rock has some deep pockets because acting this way towards repeat business isn’t smart.

I’d say Corky’s is decent. Although they started out a few hours away in Memphis, it definitely feels like a chain(as it is) vs. a hometown restaurant. I typically go for the pulled pork sandwich with various sides(salad, baked beans, mashed potatoes, etc.) Probably the best thing about Corky’s are the complimentary rolls(try with some honey!) Service is always a little sketchy, yet not terrible. I’ve never encountered any long waits, as they have a pretty large dining area. You’ll also find a coupon for them in the Entertainment Book.

Driving across the US, my partner in crime and I knew that we wanted delicious bbq. We were scheduled to be in Littlerock on Sunday. Perfect, right? No. Apparently a lot of bbq restaurants close on Sundays. Luckily, Corky’s was open and came to the rescue. Our waiter was super cute and super sweet. The food came out pretty fast and was good. It was good but it was just a little lackluster.

Good BBQ. Yummy beef brisket with sauce and 2 sides. Only complaint: Sides are a bit drippy with oils. Wait staff good. Hostess good :)
