We had dim sum on a Sunday and it was somewhat busy. Wait staff seemed short handed as they didn’t even show us all the selection because not all the carts came by. Our waitress was nice but overwhelmed with more tables than she could handle. Overall, the dim sum was good and had the right flavor. Wish they had more dessert selections but it’s the best LR has to offer as far as dim sum goes. Good enough that I’d eat there again.

NOT coming back. First of all, who charges for a sweet tea refill? You could at least let me know beforehand so I can settle for a water. And even worst, why do you call them crab Ragoons. Change the menu to cheese Ragoons because they had absolutely zero crab

Food was great, service was not. Our waiter had 2 tables and we ran out of tea and water twice, the last time he filled the tea glasses there was no ice at all! When we went to the restroom found him at the bar watching tv.

The food is fantastic — fresh, full of flavor. O was really surprised by the chicken feet — a dish that I’ve almost always had a bad experience with in other restaurants, was particularly delicious here. It was soft, hot, a wonderful delicacy that melts in your mouth and is full of flavor. However, the service is not as good as I’d like. It was a bit slow even though the restaurant was not very busy. I waited at least 25 minutes with an empty glass of water…

I was pleasantly surprised by the authentic Chinese food. Great dim sum. I love their tripe, BBQ pork buns, oyster sauce with broccoli. Paul is the man!

Finally tried this place since people said it’s the only dim sum place in little rock. It’s definitely not SF but the food is decent. I like their spare ribs and their steamed char siu bows. The siu mia didn’t taste that good but maybe I got a bad batch. I also ordered their dry chow fun with beef. I prefer the chow fun with more sauce but the kids liked it. Overall, it’s not bad. Rosa was a very good waitress but they seemed understaffed on Sunday. I would give it a try again.

I was ecstatic to have found a dim sum place in Arkansas. I wish they were in NWA but fortunately, our family makes it out to Little Rock once in awhile. They serve very authentic dim sum including chicken feet and beef tripe(while that is not to discourage those who are looking for the less adventurous items like shrimp dumplings and spare ribs, it is a great indicator of how authentic the dim sum assortment is). The service is good and the atmosphere is very bright and modern(not a hole in the wall). We also found good Cantonese dishes like beef chow fun and Sautéed veggies like water spinach. We were told to call in advance if we wanted dim sum during non-peak hours so that they can prep in advance to reduce the wait.

Have always wanted to try this place and today I finally did. My thoughts: ehh. Service was great and everyone was attentive, friendly and quick. The atmosphere was peaceful and nicely decorated. The food: ehh. I ordered the egg rolls to start off with. They came out about 2 minutes after ordering, so obviously they were sitting there waiting. Like maybe under a heat lamp… not sure, but they definitely weren’t someone else’s by mistake because I was the only patron there. They tasted about the equivalent to the ones I could buy in the frozen food section of Kroger. For my entrée, I ordered the sweet and sour shrimp with fried rice. The fried rice was very bland, the shrimp was pretty greasy, and the carrots and onions that were sautéed into the shrimp, were almost raw. I may go back to give them a second shot, if I just happen to be with someone who really wants to eat there, but I doubt I’ll ever go out of my way to done there otherwise.

Pretty decent dim sum for LR. It’s the go-to dim sum joint for local folks. Service is fast and friendly. Nice décor. Nice koi fish bond at the entrance. My fav dim sum items are chicken feet and big rice noodle rolls with shrimp. Both were decent here, not the best, but decent. Their fried taro, egg custards, and pineapple custard buns are delish! I was shocked to see so many non-Asian folks here for dim sum, but found out they have a Chinese buffet there too. Figures. Dim sum is more of an acquired taste so it made sense.

They have never failed me for providing the slowest and worst service in the world. The manager is incompetent, rude, unhelpful for his servers, and does not fulfill his responsibilities at all. This restaurant does not deserve to be open at all, not at all.

I never had s bad experience here. I’ve been going there for over three years now and it’s by far amazing and is the closest I can get to great good tasting like home. Paul is amazing although sometimes the waitress can be a little better and not so frazzled but that’s not going to steer me away. Dim sum amazing Egg rolls finger lickin good

I love dim sum and I didn’t have a big issue with the food. It was either a little greasy or too dry for my taste, but that wasn’t the worst part of eating here. A friend and I went around 1 in the afternoon. The host didn’t give us a dim sum menu so I had to go ask for one. We placed our order and a few minutes later the waiter came back to say that the dessert dim sum is only available on the weekends. That wasn’t stated and he should have clarified our order at the table, which would have made him realize we’d ordered something unavailable. When he brought out the dim sum he didn’t tell us what was what so we asked and he didn’t know so he had to go back and get our order so we could all figure it out together. When he brought out the order he asked if we wanted anything else and I asked for red pepper sauce. It never came. He did apologize toward the end of our meal that he had completely forgot. He also took my friend’s glass off the table to refill it and then never returned it. My friend finally had to ask because he couldn’t wait any longer for a drink. By the end of the meal, my friend and I agreed the service was so bad and the food didn’t come close to making up for it so we’d never come back. I sure hope that the waiter was having the most off day of his career, but it made our experience quite bad. In addition to the waiter, I also noticed the host constantly staring at me. Whenever I’d look directly at him, he’d look away and then when I went back to eating and talking with my friend he’d stare again. He moved from his perch that he had when we walked in to stand in a place where he could see me. It was really rude and disturbing although I could take it as a compliment I suppose. The food wasn’t great and the service was terrible. I’ll never be back.

We stopped into another restaurant with dim sum in its name. No carts and my husband immediately noticed, no Asians. We decided to try Chi’s and I’m glad we did. It passed both the cart and Asian customer tests. Siu mai, steamed chow siu buns, sticky rice in lotus leaf, congee, egg tarts – all my favorites. I was afraid that dim sum meant pan Asian tapas in Arkansas. Chi’s proved that it doesn’t.

Terrible service for takeout. Rude guy on the phone and it took an hour and a half for 2 egg rolls and an order of crab Rangoon.

Very good food. Not as clean as it should be especially the men’s bathroom. Service was a bit slow and had to ask for refills.

I realize that delivery food is not the best example. However, this food was so pitiful I had to make note. Their egg fu yung honestly tasted flavorless and spongy. The fried rice was equally devoid of flavor. To add insult to injury, they forgot my egg rolls. I had to wait for cold, greasy egg rolls sometime later. They charge a $ 3 delivery fee which would have been ok but it was not mentioned on either their online menu nor by the person taking my order on the phone. To say I would not recommend eating here, should be a given at this point.

Superb Dim Sum! If all you’ve ever done is eat at ordinary Chinese restaurants that cater primarily to American tastes you can’t appreciate the excellent quality of their Dim Sum. Some specialty restaurants in San Francisco’s China town make it up to this level as well as places in Chicago and New York but for Little Rock, this is amazing. I’ve been coming here for at least ten years, sometimes for lunch, sometimes for dinner and many times for Dim Sum. The food is always expertly prepared, fresh and very tasty. The kitchen is also capable of preparing many dishes that are not on the menu… authentic Chinese dishes that are astounding combinations of meat or fish with special sauces. I’ve never had a bad meal or bad service at Chi’s. If the other reviews don’t seem especially good, consider the reviewers ability to be a good judge… something requiring experience and knowledge beyond what they have.

Green onion chicken. That’s all I have to say. NOT. This place is pretty good for Arkansas. I’ve tried the regular chinese menu and Sunday dimsum carts. Dimsum is mediocre, but you can’t complain when you don’t have alternatives. What’s on their Chinese menu tho, is great. Good price and they usually give you as much rice as you want. My inexperienced friends often hesitate to try the stuff on the Chinese menu, but don’t. That’s where all the real good stuff is.
