Route 12 got me to/from the airport(LIT) saving me from having to pay cab fare for a day trip to Little Rock. I disembarked at the Clinton Presidential Library for a quick sightseeing tour, and had a pleasant stroll through the city’s tourist district to my destination. The route runs roughly every 40 min. during the week, and was on schedule, as far as I could tell. Be prepared for a bumpy ride by the airport. It’s not so much that the road isn’t smooth as it is the bus’s mechanics. I bought a day pass, but a one-way ride is only $ 1.35.
The transit center hub can be unnerving for a visitor, and was the source for unwanted attention, but as long as you’re able to hold your own(or at least look like you can!), you shouldn’t have any problems. The drivers seem to be a bit aloof, but they will let you know where you need to go if you ask.
