I had the Crab Au Gratin. It was excellent. Great flavor, good balance of spices. Quite a bit of crab meat. This is such a wonderful treat, you should serve it with a bit more up scale cracker. Maybe a thin garlic bread toasted. But not broken saltines. You have something special here, please don’t belittle it. Ordered the Étouffée. Wonderful. Perfect. Finished it all of with a Chocolate Crème Brûlée. I could not think of a better way to complete my meal. Fantastic! Gary R.

Terrible experience, I was thinking this was upscale establishment, sit in the bar area. Had to endure a vilerigant party yelling vulgar language. Food was very bland, once served we had to wait 5 minutes for silverware, I tried to stop one of the male waiters just to get a fork and he very rudely dismissed my existence. I soon found his name was Derrick, made it my business to get his name. Will never visit this place again. I rather eat at Sharks or Long John Silver at least I’ll be treated better.

The food is overpriced for what you get. I have been to Cajun’s twice in the past year and their food was a big let down both times. The bar area was loud and the live band wasn’t any good. I will not be going back to Cajun’s again.

Super cool. Enjoyed the hell out of the guy playing guitar and singing. The peeps that sat down next to me were very friendly also. Waitress was attentive and never had to wait on drinks. Really enjoyed it. I didn’t eat but I will say that the food looks very good.

Overpriced, bland, over cooked food. I have no idea why this place was packed. Ordered the calamari appetizer. The calamari was rubbery, the breading mediocre. The only thing that helped was the sauce«dumped» on the side of the plate. Looking back on it, should have left then but I was holding out hope. Got the fresh fish. It was dry and flavorless. The rice it came with was over cooked and mushy. They should have used the Rosemary spring sticking out of it to season the dish rather than decorate it with. Also got the bacon wrapped shrimp with scallops. The scallops were over cooked rubber pellets, the bacon was cold, rubbery, tasteless and the shrimp bland and also over cooked. The plate was scalding but that only managed to keep the part of the food touching it warm. The rest was cold. The only good thing was the fresh baked bread and sweet butter. We still had to saw it apart ourselves but it satiated out hunger enough we didn’t have to get fast food on the way home. The waitress was nice, too. I felt bad she had to deal with the food. The people at the next table sent some of their food back — brave souls. Save your money. This place is terrible. I should have known better than to hope for good seafood in Little Rock.

We came here to celebrate a friend’s birthday at 7 pm on a Friday night at the bar area. Since we hadn’t eaten yet, we decided to go to the dining area with another couple to eat dinner. The waitress recommended the mahi-mahi and i don’t know what i was thinking, but without looking at how much it costs or what the order included, i went ahead and got that. my wife got the rib eye steak. the other couple ordered pork loin and another kind of fish. my order arrived with some grits and three thin slices of grilled zucchini. i felt my portion was just right – not too much nor too little. my wife’s steak was not properly done so she sent it back to be put back on the grill for a few minutes. my wife’s order came with three onion rings and when she asked if that was all that came with the order, the waitress said that they have a side salad for so-and-so amount. her point was it was a separate order altogether. so we ate. when we got the check, my mahi-mahi turned out to be $ 40 and my wife’s rib eye steak was $ 34. i think those prices were too much for the area, for the portions that we got and for the quality of food. Those prices would more belong to four-star hotels with executive chefs, sous chefs, maitre d’s, wine stewards, etc. it most certainly didn’t belong to a warehouse-turned-into-restaurant place. PROS: good sized crowd. CONS: pricey; mediocre food quality; band not that good.

This is an attractive restaurant with a fantastic view of the river. We had great service and great seafood: the shrimp and crawfish cakes, grouper oscar, and seafood gumbo. Fine fun for two or a group!

Whoa, I came here for a river view, but this place is a small town! So — there’s a restaurant, a bar, a dance floor, and a rooftop patio bar, all under the same roof(!) Realistically, any review can only be for the parts someone actually spent time in, and there’s way too much to see it all in one visit. Superficially, the restaurant and bar both were nice, boisterous, and seemed like a lot of fun. Later in the evening, the dance floor was packed, so if that’s your thing, it’s definitely a good spot to go nuts in a crowd :) The parking lot is enormous, and full, be ready to walk a ways to the bar, or to hunt for a while for an ideal parking spot. For my part, I came just for the rooftop patio and river view, and it was everything I’d hoped for and more! Seriously, I’ve never been to a better place for a casual drink over the river. Check out the pictures, it really is spectacular. I even tried the play-de-do, which is a steal for the price(and I found out later you get to keep the jar it comes in!) but it is a fruity cocktail, so be prepared for that. The beer selection was also nice, and they do have a passable list of wine options too. The service was good, but the place was swamped with only a few servers, so it was slow. The drinks were very good, but the drinks menu was all over the place, there were things on the menu that they didn’t have, other things they did have that weren’t on there, so ask what’s available. We tried several appetizers, the calamari wasn’t bad, the sampler plate was pretty solid, but both were smaller than expected. The one caveat about the patio is that it’s a smoking patio. Which is great for smokers, sure, but for those of us who aren’t, well, it was a little thick. Still, absolutely worth checking out!

I’m giving it 3 stars for the ambience and view. Also, the deck with live music is pretty fun. Food is very middle of the road with not much going for it. Had much higher hopes when I drove up to the place. If you just want a good drink and something small to eat while listening to music and overlooking the river, it’s worth it. For dinner, not so much.

Well well… My 600th review and I wanted it to be special. But… here I am with Anderson’s in Little Rock. The first issue is that the GPS was taking me a way that wasn’t even open… as in I couldn’t find the road, a sign or anything. OK… so I switch gears and decide to get there my way… we do. It’s large, on the water, comfort dim lighting with wood interior. I’d be afraid to see how clean this place actually is if we turned the lights up… We got a nice table by the window overlooking the rapidly moving river. I ordered a Caesar salad and was not impressed with the browning veins of the lettuce. My friends house salad didn’t impress either. We both got the steak and bacon wrapped shrimp combo… it was ok, just ok… not massively impressive as I expected. I saw so much online about how amazing and I guess I had really high expectations. If I had to guess I’d say that the kitchen has lost some passion over time… service was very good, it’s a nice place… but the food just doesn’t live up to the prices in general for me. I was excited to go here and left disappointed.

Me and my wife started off with the hot crawfish and shrimp dip which was great. Loved the way it came together and had large pieces of shellfish in the dip to catch with your bread. For my entrée I had the bacon wrapped shrimp. The shrimp were good but I thought the menu said it came with grits. Instead it was served with mashed potatoes which was disappointing. The mashed potatoes were very good and had a healthy dose of cayenne added for flavoring. My wife had the six-and-six which consisted of six scallops about a half-dollar sized and six large grilled shrimp on a bed of rice. She said it tasted good(I didn’t try it). For desert I had the Bailey’s Irish Cream Cheesecake which was passable. I’ve had much better cheesecake but it wasn’t the worst either. Service could have been a little bit better but I can’t really complain about it either. Also it could have been just a little cooler in the restaurant.

I love seafood and this is supposed to be a popular seafood spot, failed… It wasn’t bad but it wasn’t good. Let’s just say I love bacon wrapped shrimp, I didn’t finish. The oyster that was stuffed was delicious though. Scallop was blah, no flavor! Service was slow and he didn’t even tell me about the specials I was hearing from other waiters across the room. It will be hard for me to come back since I’m only in town two days out of the month throughout the year.

Came highly recommended, so we went. nice spot on the river. Although it wasn’t busy(Tuesday night) I had to request a table with a nice view. Service was slow. Bread came out after almost done with our salad. Salad was nice with the house dressing but was surprised to find blue cheese in it. Had a sea bass plate and it was tasty. I eat way to fast and even I felt rushed to finish. More than half a plate full when asked about desert. Sides were not explained and ala cart.. Over priced for what you get.

Been here many times for drinks and once for food. I think it has a really great atmosphere and love how it overlooks the river! You can’t come here and not have a play-de-doh.it’s their signature drink & so delicious. I had the six & six — bacon wrapped stuffed shrimp & scallops… Amazing! Pricey but worth it in my opinion since there aren’t many seafood restaurants in LR.

This is our absolute favorite spot. We love the food, people, atmosphere and the entertainment. There’s also a very fun maze of little alcoves of private dining areas that allow you to have a very unique experience. This is all before the humongous deck overlooking the Arkansas River with live entertainment with its own little liquor Hut.

This review is only for the seafood offered. The place is overpriced and their seafood is not that great. If you want some real Cajun seafood try the Flying Fish in downtown little rock. The location and ambiance are very nice. I’ve been told their steaks are good.

Stopped in to have drinks and enjoy the view of the river. No complaints about the appetizers, but was not overly impressed, either. The service was excellent, especially considering we were a large group. Would return again!
