Excellent bread, coffee and salads. Great place for breakfast and lunch.

I’m a big fan of this place. So much so that when we visit the River Market, I’m always torn between this place & Middle Eastern Cuisine. The sandwiches here are amazing, especially the panini. I’m a big fan of the chicken salad, myself. As far as coffee, this is the best to be found in the Market Hall since Andina Café moved. One of my favorite things here is he «orjeat», which I don’t think actually appears on the menu anymore, but they still make. Its a steamer with almond syrup, good foam, & cinnamon sprinkled on top. It’s about the only coffee-free drink that I’ll pass up my caffeine fix to drink!

Stumbled upon this place during lunch hour and was blown away by the vegan sandwich. By far one of the best sandwiches I have EVER had.

The food is ALWAYS great… when they HAVE it. I have never in my life seen a bread company OUT of bread, sandwiches, paninis, and soup. It’s just weird. And that’s all i have to say about that.

«Do you cook?» «No…but I can make a pretty mean sandwich…» I’ve always admitted to being a sandwich snob, being that I’ve gots my own assembling skills and all… but regardless, this place knocks my skills out of the water. I’m a fan of a thing called meat and never thought vegetarian sandwiches could be soooooo appetizing. Their goatcheese sandwiches are something I crave and the mozzarella isn’t bad, either. The pastrami is also delicious… something about their fresh nutty wheat bread that makes my taste buds want to dance around and do the mambo or something. I come for the sandwiches, but they also provide other baked goods like pastries(the dark chocolate croissant is my favorite) as well as cookies and a selection of muffins(probably not my favorite). The soups are also very very good while they also make specialty espresso drinks. The people are really friendly and are always playing really good music. My only complaint would be that their sandwiches are kind of small for the price. However… that obviously doesn’t deter me from this place, cause I come visit at least once a week.

Man, the bread at this place looks amazing — big, hearty loaves with what I’m sure is a satisfyingly thick crunchy crust on the sourdough, and a decent variety to choose from. I couldn’t resist getting a bearclaw pastry sprinkled with toasted sliced almonds and stuffed with marzipan for my(not) low-carb breakfast snack, and it was absolutely delicious. Flaky on the outside, yummy, slightly gooey marzipan on the inside. I also ordered a latte with a shot of hazelnut syrup, and despite the fact that I got about 5x too much hazelnut syrup in there, I’m still loving this place. They’ve got a varied selection of German chocolates(RitterSport, Kinder chocolate), and they are all about being friendly to the environment here, with biodegradable plastic utensils — they’re made from potato starch! In addition to breakfast pastries and bread, they also offer tasty-sounding sandwiches.
