This is something of a tough review to write, but I’ll do my best–
For starters, these guys are super-​fast on the phone. They’ll answer, get your problem detailed, then send someone over *fast.* I locked my key in my car (first time ever!)
…in my own driveway no less. Is that better or worse?
Anyway, 20 minute wait, tops. And they provided an estimate over the phone that was accurate through the process and very reasonable. I was very impressed with their initial service.
Then, their tech arrived, found me and my car no problem, called and was very polite and friendly, and got right to work. He pulled out one of those air-​pump things and held the door open just wide enough to get a bendable metal poker in there to try to unlock a door. Everything comin’ up roses so far!
Then, it got a little less good.
Turns out my car (a 2008 model Honda) is very, very hard to break into. I always figured it had never been broken into because I was lucky, but maybe my little monster has just been turning carjackers away left and right while I wasn’t looking.
The stick couldn’t grip the lock well enough to open the door mechanically, it child-​locks so pulling the handle from inside was a no-​go, and even the lock/​unlock button on the arm rests didn’t work while a door was pried open. Maybe none of it was clicked, poked, or pulled well enough, but from the outside it look convincing. Much to his credit, the ²⁴⁄₇ tech worked hard at it, trying over and over, and approaching multiple options from multiple doors. The armrests are angled under a curve of the door, to resist just this kind of fiddling, so it wasn’t an easy effort either.
But.
At the end of the day, I would not have gotten into my car this way. The only reason I did get into my car was because my neighbor (bless her heart!) came over with an unbent clothes hanger, which the tech was able to use to fish the key (which I’d conveniently left sitting smack in the middle of the driver’s seat, just to taunt myself) out the door and unlock it.
The tech’s only comment on this subject was «even if she fishes it out, you still have to pay for the service.» No apology, no thank-​you, no couldn’t-have-done-it-without-you. The tech only had one tool for this job, and it wouldn’t have done this job by itself, so without my neighbor, I would have been SOL.
I’m torn, because on the one hand, I only got into the car because my neighbor thought to bring out the clothes hanger, AND I’d left the key somewhere easily accessible. Without those two things, the tech couldn’t have done it. On the other hand, we couldn’t even get the hanger in the door without the tech’s air pump.
At the end of the day, I gratefully paid the service fee, and promised my neighbor a snazzy six-​pack in gratitude.
All in all a positive experience, just know that if your car is a newer, smaller model, it may resist the basic locksmithing service. Still, these guys are not bad, and I do recommend their work!

I was having an awful afternoon. I locked my elderly dog in my car while packing her up for the vet. I freaked out. I found ²⁴⁄₇ on Unilocal.Called them immediately and was told they’d be at my place in 10 minutes. They were here by that time or even quicker, it seemed. Edward, the guy who showed up, was quick, professional, friendly, and didn’t hurt my car in any way. I’m adding them to my phone list for the next time I do something else stupid involving keys and locks. I’ll definitely use them again, if I need to… but hope I don’t have to. :)

Fantastic fast service with excellent prices. I will definitely use them again. I called them out to unlock my car, they were there very fast and knew exactly what they were doing. I had price checked a few locksmiths and these guys were the cheapest.

I Lost the key to my truck. The Chevy dealer told me I had to have my truck towed to them bc my key had a chip in it and it needed to be programmed. I called these guys they were at my house within an hour and made me a new key and programmed it right in my driveway. And they were cheaper than the dealer!
