Ended up in a bind one evening and needed a room for my husband and I and our two small dogs. This is by far the best and cleanest pet friendly hotel we have ever stayed in. It’s on a marina so you can walk your dog all around the docks. Complimentary breakfast in the morning tops it off. Clean rooms and very friendly front desk staff. I’d definitely stay here again.

Loved staying here. We have enjoyed our yearly beach trip by staying at this location 2 years in a row. Staff is accommodating and courteous.

In searching for a hotel, I was looking for the following: –A hotel in the North Myrtle Beach vicinity –Pet friendly(My chihuahua goes everywhere with me) –Very Clean(Pet-friendly and clean shouldn’t be mutually exclusive, in my opinion) –Comfortable and quiet –Not too expensive After scouring the Unilocal reviews, this hotel seemed like the best bet, and boy am I glad I chose this one! Thanks, fellow Unilocalers! I highly recommend this hotel, especially for those of you who are: –Traveling with a pet –Looking for a quiet, comfortable place to stay Now for more details: *The Location* This hotel is not located by the ocean, but the beach at Cherry Grove is a very short drive away. The Myrtle Beach attractions are 10 – 20 minutes away(Perhaps allow more time for traffic during heavy tourist season). Calabash, NC, is just a few minutes away to the North, with an assortment of fine seafood restaurants. I actually like that the hotel is not located in the middle of all the Myrtle Beach craziness, but then again it was quieter anyway since I stayed during the off-season(January). *Pet Friendly* As of January 2012, this hotel charges a $ 25 fee per night per pet, and there is a 40 lb weight limit. Pets stay on the 3rd and 4th floor in either smoking or non-smoking rooms. How delighted I was to discover I didn’t have to stay in a smoking room because I have a pet(which is the case with many hotels. Yuck!) There isn’t a specifically designated area for your pooch to potty, but there is plenty of space to walk your pet along the hotel grounds. Just a note – the beds are quite high off the floor, which was way too high for my pup to jump on his own.(You could remedy this by placing the desk chair right next to the bed). *Cleanliness* This hotel was incredibly clean from the hotel lobby to the halls to the room itself. It looked to be recently remodeled. Carpet looked fresh and new, as did linens, and room was nicely appointed. It was so clean that I walked down down the hall to the soda machine in my socks and didn’t think anything of it. *Comfort* High on my list was that it was super quiet. I am a very light sleeper. Again, I was there during the off-season and the hotel wasn’t full by any means. Due to the location, maybe it wouldn’t be so crazy full of noisy Spring-breakers and other college kids during tourist season. As for the mattresses, they were a little too firm for me, but I slept just fine. It was FREEZING cold outside, but I was able to keep the room sufficiently warm. *Price* Price is a great value, especially if you have a AAA discount or a friends and family discount. Additionally, every staff member I encountered was super friendly and helpful. When I arrived, I was given a free bottle of water for being a Priority Club member(I signed up when booking this hotel online). After checking in, I went upstairs to look at my room and it smelled like smoke.(Shouldn’t have, because this was specifically a non-smoking room). I went downstairs and – no problem – was switched to another room down the hall, which smelled nice and fresh. Check out was a breeze, and extended checkout was no problem. All in all, I was very pleased and will certainly return here when I am in the area.

This is a nice hotel for the money 89 a night you might be like its just going to be somewhere to lay my head but i was so impressed by this hotel will defiantly go back and stay there. Also the continental breakfast is very nice not just your regular muffins and coffee but real food to eat and very clean and has a grab host who does it.

This hotel was just fine for my family and I. It was just outside of all of the ‘happenings of North Myrtle and Myrtle Beach’ but that’s ok, it was just a short drive from things. The room service wasn’t bad and the rooms were well appointed. I believe that just completed a renovation, so it was like staying in a brand new hotel. If you have pet allergies though beware, the hotel is pet friendly so if that bothers you just ask for a no pet floor. The price was REALLY reasonable too.

We stayed here for a last minute trip to Myrtle Beach. It was a short drive to all the attractions, which was no problem, since we got a great rate. The room was clean, hotel staff was friendly and accommodating, and there was a great pool. The bed was comfortable, and the shower was great-a rarity for the beach. The only downside(which was a small one) was that the room was a little damp unless you ran the air conditioner all the time. We asked for an extra blanket,(which was brought quickly) and it was all good. Good value, we’d stay here again.

This is a nice clean place. It’s not by the beach, but got a GREAT price! The staff is very friendly. You’re about 10 minutes from North Myrtle Beach attractions.
