Missed it the first time. Right at the end of the road. Looped around, found their«private» parking lot and walked down to the inter costal. Food was GREAT. Baked crab dip appetizer — could have just had that for the meal. Almost licked the dish. We both ordered the seafood pot pie. Huge. Took one home for the next night. NO room for dessert. Great place, good service and wonderful and different fare.

Food was great. Service was outstanding. Only hiccup was the rude party sitting next to us. They claimed the oysters were bad after they ate them. They wanted the manager to comp them. It became a little bit of a scene when the party threatened to post negative reviews on Unilocal and other sites. Will return to eat here on our next trip to NMB.

Great place. Very friendly staff. We normally don’t order burgers, but the pub burger with spinach and crab was great. Soft shell crab and oysters were amazing, and the kids loved their fish and chips. We will be back.

I had amazing experience at Fibber’s on the water. Food, ambiance, service, everything was great! My husband and I went there for an early dinner few weeks ago. Complementary bread and homemade butter are delicious. Both of us ordered specials of the day. I had Filet mignon in gorgonzola sauce, baked potato and salad. He had Grouper in Mango and pineapple sauce with rice. Everything was so delicious, we really enjoyed it. We sat outside, nice view, right on the water. Perfect weather, sunset… Fibber’s on the water is a little bit pricier then some other restaurants in the area, but it’s worthy! I highly recommend it!

I’d give Fibber’ s 8 stars if I could. The food here is awesome! Sitting outside, you have one of the best views in the Myrtle Beach area. I love sitting on their deck along the Inlet Waterway watching the boats cruise by, but if you sit inside, the ambiance is also very nice. Sort of Irish Pub meets Carolina Coast. While the ambiance is great, the food is the star! Our group of six had appetizers including the calamari, She crab Soup, grouper bites, fried pickles, chicken wings, and best of all, the scallops. Everything was fantastic!!! Our lunch entrees included the special Waterfront burger with 8 oz fresh ground beef, spinach, Swiss cheese and Crabmeat. Incredible! We also had the Grouper sandwich, peel n eat shrimp(which were steamed perfectly with just a touch of Old Bay), another hamburger, and a couple salads with salmon. They have a good selection of bottled beers and twelve beers on draft. Also a full bar. Everything was fantastic. One member of our party wanted to come back for dinner tonight. We are going to come back Friday evening just cause we are so full. Reservations are accepted for inside, but outside is first come-first served. On busy days the deck stays full as people tend to eat and linger soaking up the view and nice breeze. Do not miss this place! Seriously. The food and the service are top notch and the prices are very reasonable. Ralph, the owner, takes great pride in his restaurant and it shows. The wait staff is as good as you’ll find anywhere! I wouldn’t come to North Myrtle Beach without a visit to Fibber’s.

My grandmother and I came here for dinner yesterday, and I was excited because of the great reviews. I’ll be honest… everything was pretty nice UNTIL we were just about ready to go. A delicious and chill dinner was ruined when a man that either owns the restaurant, or at least manages the place, began arguing with a waitress in the main dining room… he kept yelling«That’s a quit! That’s a quit!» Seems the waitress had an issue with being on the schedule for Sunday(a day she normally doesn’t work) and was trying to explain the difficulty in working that day. The guy was just refusing to hear any of it and arguing with her in front of everyone. So uncomfortable to be around… ugh. No restaurant management or staff should EVER argue in front of dining patrons, let alone a main dining room. It’s now all I’ll remember about my dining experience here, unfortunately. TL;DR Enjoyable dinner ruined by management arguing with one of the waitresses. Would NOT go back or recommend to others.

Great view dining right on the water in Little River. We sat out on the back deck to really make the most of it and it was a beautiful day to watch the boats go by. The food was pretty good too. I had the Shrimp Burger cause it sounded different. It wasn’t like a po boy, it was actually ground up shrimp and spices made into a patty and cooked on the grill. The sauce that came with it was fresh and zesty and added a nice flavor. Cocktails were beachy and full of booze. Would have been nice to stick around for a few more and enjoy the waterway. The service was quick and our server was very polite too.

The bar waitress was extremely rude and asked us to leave as soon as we sat down. The hostess had asked us to sit at the bar while the table was getting ready. When we finally got seated it took 45 minutes for the waitress to make her first stop at our table. Good thing the food is good. A $ 200 meal for 6.

The food at Fibbers is amazing! Their pan seared scallops are by far the best I have ever had. The service is quick and polite and the servers have just the right amount of humor without being annoying. I would highly recommend saving room for dessert and get the key lime pie.

The food, the food, the food. As northerners on a first time visit down to the Carolinas, this place was recommended by a local and we were not disappointed! The outside appearance would more likely lead you to believe there was just fried bar food inside, but this food belongs at a high end restaurant. Also the outside seating along the intercostal was a great back drop.

So we decided maybe they had a bad day and tried the place once again. This time same thing without the full moon thank god. But they added something new to the mix. The owner was drunk at the bar…

Place seemed very promising after reading the reviews but wasn’t as good as we thought it would be. The fish was very good but over priced and the sides on the plate were nothing much. Seemed like canned pineapple etc for the grouper paradise.

Fresh, fresh, fresh! We were on a dolphin tour and we saw the fishermen loading freshly caught seafood into the restaurant. This restaurant is situated right on the water… Nice for the view and the fresh food. Prices were horrible. Service was great. I love this place and will be back upon my return to myrtle beach. Review pictures for meal details. We shared several appeitzers… All of which were fresh and yummy.

We spotted Fibbers as we rode past on a dolphin watch boat ride. A fisherman was unloading his catches from his boat and we all agreed instantly this is where we were going to for lunch! Talk about fresh yumminess all around! We seriously devoured the super duper fresh calamari, fish, shrimp, and scallops. The coconut sauce that came with the coconut shrimp was soooo awesomely fresh, delish and creamy! I almost forgot to mention the absolutely fresh, creamy, flavorful delightful key lime pie, which was the very best I’ve ever had the pleasure of gobbling up! You must eat outside on the patio to enjoy the beautiful view of the waterfront and watch the fishing boats returning with their catches. Yum + fun= bookmark to return on next visit!

Service was great, food was delicious it was my first ever she-crab soup and I loved it;) My fish order was cooked perfectly and tasted very fresh. This was a great find right on the water. Only complaint is that I wish more outdoor seating would have been available and that our bread wasn’t served warm.

This is a nice little place on the water. Started off with some beer and Bacardi and diet. Then ordered the special of the night crab dip… This is why I gave a 4 and not a 5 crab dip was more like cream cheese dip what a let down. What wasn’t a let down was the amazing Parmesan crusted haddock. Amazeballs! Fish was cooked perfectly with a delicious crispy cheese top and some Siracha to add. I would definitely recommend this place for a nice night out and some local bars surrounding to end the night with a shot!

I tried this restaurant based on Unilocal reviews. I ended up going there twice: one with my father and a second time with some friends visiting from DC. All four of us really enjoyed Fibbers. It is an unassuming place on the Intercoastal Waterway. Thus, the back deck overlooks the water and on weekends you can see considerable boat activity. We had the steamed spice shrimp as an appetizer. They were excellent. The calimari were unfortunately average and mostly tasted like fried bits rather than succulent, tender calimari. The fish sandwiches are good. Both my father and I –as well as our waitress– recommend the fish and chips(haddock) over the grouper sandwich. The haddock had a better flavor. Also, the onion rings are excellent. It is a bit pricey for appetizers and sandwiches, but I will definitely return for the food and laidback, local ambiance among the Grand Strand’s over-commericializaiton.

What a cool little discovery we made on our last vacation to the beach. Fibber’s is located on the waterfront along with 3 or 4 other restaurants and bars. We stopped in on a Wednesday evening and were quickly seated outside with a great view of the inter-coastal waterway. We tried the special of the day, crab dip. Lots of chunks of crab. For dinner, the wife had the pasta and crab dish and I tried the blacken grouper w/scallops. Very tasty but pricey($ 31). Nice craft beer selection too. Overall it was a great experience and I look forward to going back. Next time, I’ll try one of the sandwiches.

I ain’t lieing! Fibber’s was a pleasant surprise on our 3.5 hr drive back from Myrtle to Raleighwood. We often stop in Wilmington to eat, but I thought to take the road less traveled and see if there was anything along the Little River waterfront. There is plenty folks! When you first walk up the restaurants all look like dives! Seriously, you’ll want to head back to you car. But, venture the nerve to walk in and you’ll see ‘A’ sanitation grades, lovely interiors, clean restrooms for the ladies, and a nice deck to watch the boats go by. And, of course, the food! We ordered a spinach salad w/salmon, fries to share and a crab cake sandwich. Huge portions and excellent! I’ll be back for sure!!!
