Mona Lisa Pastry Shop

What happened! Came to get a cake and the bakery is gone! Everything is cleaned up and the sign said its sold. So sorry, we will really miss the pastries and cannoli cake.

I love this place. I like the cookies, the pastries (I will admit that I am not a fan of cannolis in general so that one I always skip), and the cakes. My favorite is their derby with the fruit inside. It is so fresh and light and not too sweet.

Great Italian pastries. Very clean and hygienic. All the pastries taste fresh and amazing. Definitely go for some mini pastries or the tiramisu which is also delicious.

Idk who said they don’t have pastries, when i went in there a few times they always had about a dozen different kinds. Don’t really know about the italian bread, wouldn’t really expect a pastry shop to have italian bread…
Anyway. I have come in here a few times, yes they are cash only. There is a bank across the street if you need a pastry fix and don’t have cash, they have an ATM. They pasties i have tried were really good. They also make triallis (good chance this is spelled wrong). I have bought them from store but never fresh they were great. I would definitely come here if you need some pastries or you just want a canoli.

Real Italian pastries.

I bought a Mocha Cake & some Sesame Street Character cupcakes a few weeks ago and everything was amazing! Fresh, delicious, and the service was helpful & friendly.
I was slightly hesitant at first being I wasn’t from the area and the parking lot seemed empty, but I’m happy I took my business there.
If I’m in the area again, I will be sure to stop in!

You gotta give credit, when credit is due.
The last few times I came to this bakery, maybe I was expecting too much. Maybe I was comparing them to someone else. You know what I realized… You shouldn’t do that.
When you have a favorite spot, no matter who you compare them to, they will always be your favorite and sometimes that results in a not so honest review.
The last time I came here, yea I wasn’t happy. Maybe the pastries weren’t fresh, maybe they didn’t have a lot, whatever… Nobody’s perfect!
Well a funny thing happened to me. A little bird came to visit me, we’ll call her Grace. Anyways, this bird named Grace was chirping that I should give them another shot because this place is really not so bad, and that’s it’s been around for like 40 years. For anyone to be around that long, they must be doing something right.
I decided, you know what… I will go back, and when I do I’m writing a review on exactly how I see things.
So I just got back from Mona Lisa’s. I’m going out tonight and want to bring some pastries over. I asked for the large lobster tails, they didn’t have anymore… Not a problem, the small ones would do just fine. I cleaned them out, they had 7 left, and I took some other pastries as well. I asked for a lobster tail to be separate. I’m a sucker for lobster tails.
So I bite into this lobster tail, and it’s really not bad at all… It actually has a very unique taste to it. I’m actually very happy I went back and decided to give them another chance. A rich creamy texture with a delicious after taste. That hit the spot perfectly! This is what I’ve been missing! Just bring cash… It’s cash only!

No credit card, no Italian bread, never seem to have pastries, and no customers. Wtf kind of bakery is this?!

This is a great bakery. The best pastry around! The owner is an interesting man who loves the Jets.
