Probably my favorite local spot. The beer is always good, it’s not pretentious, and specials every night. They have tap takeovers every other week so you get to try a few beers from a brewer you may have never known about. Service is always good no matter how busy, and the wait staff are friendly and personable. Great place to watch any sporting event, especially if you’re a Mets fan. Their burgers and pizzas are great as well as their appetizers. The aesthetic of the place is cool, surfboards on the ceiling, music memorabilia on the walls, and an old piece of rail as a footrest at the bar.

I’ve been here 3 times now. Unfortunately the second and third time really changed my opinion of this bar. It was a drastically different experience than the first. The first time, the staff were really attentive and knew the drinks/specials/food well. They were always checking on us, provided good customer service, and seemed to really care. The last 2 times… complete opposite. Everyone seemed to be confused on what they had, specials, times for happy hour, and who was actually waiting on us. They had attitudes about everything and no personality. Everyone seems to be in an awful mood… always. It’s the culture here for sure. The food was ok, but the waiter didn’t write the order down and got so much of it wrong. Pizza was good because it’s freshly made first 2 times. Last, completely burnt and like cardboard. Terrible. Drinks were wrong twice. Beer didn’t seem to have any carbonation. Service…complete mess with a lot of attitude. I really don’t understand why people can’t write down orders especially for a bigger table. As a result so much of our food and drink orders were wrong. The waiter and female bartender both just didn’t care. No personality no customer service. It was unreal. Would I come back for a 4th time? NO. I wouldn’t want to have another bad night like my last experience. There’s plenty of other places around.

So it’s my second time my friends and I are checking this place out. It’s somewhat in the cut– has its own parking lot and haven’t had a hard time finding a spot either time. When you enter it has a sports bar feel to it. There are tvs everywhere, surfboards that decorate the ceiling and tables that run along side of the bar. They have a pretty good selection of beers(I’m no beer drinker so I wouldn’t know much about it but seemed to have a lot). The cocktails all looked yummy– my one friend and I were raving about a ginger beer, whisky mix that is just phenomenal. They offer a pretty good variety of food– apps, burgers, salads etc. last time I just picked at some apps. I wasn’t crazy about them but how much can you really say about a mozzarella stick. This time around I got the blackened salmon salad as well as the cantadida artisan pizza. Both were absolutely delicious. The salad was nice and fresh and the salmon had a nice kick to it and the pizza was MMMMM!!! There is a man stationed in front of the stone fire oven that makes the pizza so you can see him. My friends seemed enjoy their food as well. Prices are reasonable(10 – 12 bucks on average) and they are cheaper during happy hour. Now the service was amazing the first time we went there. The server was attentive and informative. He mentioned the theme nights(e.g. All you can eat taco bingo night), specials, happy hour times, etc. this time around– the orders came out wrong and our server wasn’t quite as warm and attentive but I will say the staff was proactive about comping items and compensating for the mistakes without us having to get up in arms. Bottom line— chill place to come with friends(or solo). Seemed like the age group was about 30 – 50. Good food, good drinks– will be going back.

Great pizza, great service, and the best happy hour. Half priced apps from 4 – 7 and beer specials. I go here often with coworkers. Also has a small outdoor area with a big screen.

Unilocal’s classification of «American(New) + Sports Bars» is accurate and for this area it is a very rare breed. Essentially it takes the sports bar experience up a notch, without being pricey or snooty. Pizzas and quesadillas are top notch. Really enjoyed watching the pizza made and cooked behind the bar in the open oven. Solid staff. Nice beer selection.

Great local bar, plenty of TVs, great food and drinks. Only downside — SMALL. If you go during a busy time(happy hour, super bowl, any sporting event really) be prepared to stand. Other than the size the service was great and yummy food :)

Five of us stopped in here on a Saturday night for a UFC fight. We tried getting in around 8:30(long before the 10:00 main event start time to secure a table), but a guy who appeared to be the manager said they were closed for a private party until 9:30. As an aside, he said it was a 150-person party and the place was packed, both indoors and at the outdoor bar. To kill some time, we went around the corner to a very depressing Hooter’s where families were bringing in their newborns, baby carriages and all. 9:30 couldn’t have come sooner so we jetted out of Hooter’s and headed back over to 381, where the bouncer tried to tell us we couldn’t get in until 10:00. We challenged him based on what the manager previously told us, so he let us in. We secured some seats at the bar, got great service and ordered a bangin’ meat lovers pizza($ 12.95). Thin crust, crunchy, fresh. They were serving these until 2AM. The rest of the menu was off limits after 11:00. I wanted to make it back here to try their burger since the photos on Unilocal looked so great, so a group of us went back 2 weeks later for another UFC fight and that’s just what I ordered. The bleu cheese burger was delicious and I really appreciate it the«381» stamp on the bun. Clever. This place probably has 7 – 10 unique draft options I had never heard of. I tried the Shiner Holiday Cheer and the UFO gingerbread. I much preferred the shiner. The gingerbread tasted like a burnt cookie, but still very good. Very casual place with some very interesting décor. Check out the ram’s head on the wall and all the surfboards on the ceiling. I couldn’t tell whether I was in Montana or Hawaii. If you’re going here for an event, such as a UFC fight, don’t expect the volume to be on. They played music all the way up until the final fight. Only one dude at a time in the bathroom, unless you were the couple I was waiting almost 10 minutes for to finish their business … Plenty of parking.

We ate at 381 last night. Wife and I were looking for a bar to watch college football. We were looking for a lot of TVs, good bar food, and friendly staff… We found it! Great bar to watch not only college football, but any sport. I can see the place getting nuts for Giants/Jets or MMA events. We had the nachos w chicken– WOW. They were huge and surprisingly tasty. I had the Texas BBQ Burger– delicious. Wife had a regular burger– also tasty. Really like the French fries on the side(super crispy). Waitress was very friendly and had good knowledge of the beer selection. Lots of choice when it comes to beers on tap and bottles and craft beers. We didn’t sit outside, however there was a nice outside section with a big TV. We’ll be back for sure…

This place was rather interesting. The bartenders were nice and quite helpful with the beer selection. I liked the bar counter area; it was well lit, roomy and clean. The lighting was brighter than an average bar. The pictures online are kind of deceiving, because I was expecting this place to be more swanky but came to be disappointed when I realized that it is just an average sports bar. The clientele ranged from young college boys to middle-aged divorced people. There was an outdoor patio section, which is basically where smokers hang out. The parking lot is strange. It’s a one way and there’s not enough parking for an amount of patrons that would show up on a busier Friday or Saturday evening. Definitely will not be going back here.

Great pizza! Crunchy, flavorful, and lots of toppings. The wings are small, but cooked perfectly and sauced to your taste. The ‘toxic waste’ is just the right amount of heat without being inedible like some places spiciest offerings. The beer is cold, with lots of selections. I have to go back and try a burger, because I’ve heard nothing but raves about them. Only drawbacks are the service can be spotty sometimes. Everyone us very nice, but occasionally the can be a little inattentive. And the place is small, so it can be loud. We went on Trivia Tuesday, and it seems most people that were there forgot their ‘inside voices’. This is no fault of the staff though. Great place to grab a bite, a brew, and watch a game!

God I love this place. I usually go for the pizza– DELICIOUS. It reminded me of real Italian pizza(meaning, the pizza I had while in Italy, Sicily to be exact). So I pretty much get the pizza every time. The original brick oven & the grandmother pie(nonna Pie) are my favorites. They also have really good seasoned fries, wings, pretzel bites. I’ve really never had one bad thing from them. Décor is pretty fun, pretty sure I notice something new every time I’m in there. They’re a huge collector of surf boards. The staff for the most part is pretty on par, I can’t say that they’re better or worse than other places. I don’t know her name but there’s a shorter blond woman who is probably my favorite server. Definitely recommend :))

solid service and décor, good food/drinks and prices are relatively fair. Apparently they fixed up the inside quite a bit and there’s some pretty cool things(different surfboards on the ceiling). They have the pizza oven behind the bar, which was neat as well. We were there for bingo on wednesdays and everyone seemed to enjoy the food for the most part(although the wings and fried pickles with boom boom sauce seemed a bit of a letdown). Will likely be back to try other specials.

I’ve only been here a few times, but every time I do it’s always good. The bartender was EXTREMELY nice and she hang around to talk with our group. In terms of food and drink they seem to have a large amount of craft beers and the bar pies(which my friends got) was really good they said. They had the Hawaiian pie. I just got a Heineken and disco fries, but I would have to say that they were as good or better than most disco fries from diners in the area.

Ambiance — 3 Stars: No idea what the theme is… but it’s a bar after all. Lot’s of TV’s, usually something good to watch. Service — 1 Star: Their service is not good. At all. We have been to 381 maybe 10 to 15 times. Average time to your first beer is easily 10 minutes. The service staff doesn’t care about you unless you’re a local or one of their friends. Countless times I’ve seen them texting, chit chatting with the other wait staff, or chatting with a single customer for 15 minutes, instead of filling my beer. If they actually filled my beer by the time I was done, I would probably end up drinking more than 1 or 2 that I manage to get in before my meal is over. One time we visited, I timed the wait: 22 minutes for the server to ask what we wanted to drink. Seriously? Have had an order screwed up once, but they redeemed it by giving us a free round. There is one bar tender here we really liked, not sure what her name is — hard to miss her as she’s the only one that’s actually friendly. Food — 4.5 Stars: Their burgers are downright delicious. Probably one of, if not THE, best burgers I’ve ever had. Their fries are also really good, but I think they may have changed their supplier as the fry quality degraded recently. Pizza is also pretty awesome for a bar. Drinks — 4 Stars: Always have a good selection of craft beers on tap and bottle. They also just added a few more taps, so even greater choices. Cost — 4 Stars: Decent prices. Not too expensive. The biggest reason why we didn’t visit this place for dinner more often while living in LF was the service. Many times we would be craving a good burger, but just couldn’t deal with waiting 30 minutes before our food order was taken. They definitely like their locals.
