Wink Eye Care

Dr. Tran and the staff of Wink Eye Care gave my 16 yr. old daughter and myself excellent service and care. We were both tested for glaucoma, per our regular eye doctor’s recommendation, who also referred us to Wink Eye Care. Dr. Tran completely explained the types of glaucoma to us and went over all the test results thoroughly. From the 35 years I’ve had to visit eye doctors annually, Dr. Tran quickly became one of my favorites of all time! If an eye exam for glasses/​contacts or glaucoma testing is needed, I highly recommend him and his staff at Wink Eye Care.

Amazing team here! My daughter came for her first visit to the eye doctor this past week and they really made it a memorable one. It began with the team up front who was able to get us in the same day! They also helped to look for glasses for my daughter and even had some other suggestions set aside for her once our appointment was done. I loved how the team and Dr Tran spoke directly to my daughter and made the appointment about her, allowing her to take command and answer all their questions on her own. Then we were given all our options for which glasses and protective coatings we could choose, without any pressure. And the best part. they took us right on time and we were out of there in less than an hour!

Great staff and doctors! Family and I enjoy visiting this office and will continue to do so.

I have been seeing Dr. Tran for about 2 years now. He is very knowledgeable and answers all my questions. He and his staff are super friendly and are always willing to help you in any way possible. I like they are very close to me and it was easy for me to make an appointment when I needed.

LOVE that they are open on Saturdays! So nice to go to an appointment while my husband could watch our kids. I had a really good experience with Wink Eye Care. Every year around this exact time, I block out my schedule to make the trek up to Little Elm for my annual eye exam here.
Why drive so far? I assure you will not find better customer service. The office is new and clean. You’ll be certain to find a large variety of eyeglasses to choose from. The entire staff is extremely friendly and will make sure you are well taken care of. Heather was sweet and kept me company while I waited with some chit chatter. Jorge made sure I was all set up for Dr. Tran with the preliminary tests.
Dr. Tran is unlike any other optometrist you will ever see. He is extremely patient, knowledgeable, and is open to address any questions you may have. Just ask and voice your concerns! He really does care. At my last appointment, we went into depth about the eyes’ ability to to see 2 dimensional vs 3 dimensional. It was extremely enlightening. I walked out understanding how to take care of my vision for the long run.

This is my second time visiting Dr. Tran at Wink Eye Care. Dr. Tran and the staff are great and very thorough in their patient care. Dr. Tran took the time to explain how my eyes are doing and gave me great tips in taking care of eyes durint the allergy season. I definitely recommend it.

I just started to wear glasses over the last couple of years as I have gotten older. I went to another eye clinic a while back and they really didn’t help me much. Dr. Tran listened to the problems I was trying to solve and has done an excellent job of providing the right prescription to solve my problems.
I really like the Optical Lab Manager, Jorge. He clearly knows his stuff and was super helpful in not only guiding me to a new set of frames that better suit my needs, but he also made some much needed adjustments to my current frames to make them much more comfortable and effective.

Dr. Tran has been our family Optometrist for the past two years. My entire family transitioned from eye glasses to contacts and he was so knowledgeable and patient and he took so much time to make sure we had the perfect fit from our teens to my husband and I who had multi vision. What we love about Dr. Tran is that he is professional yet funny and his staff is top notch. I would highly recommend Dr Tran and his staff at Wink Eye Care to anyone. Dr. Tran is patient and takes time to explain and answer questions. Jorge was knowledgable and pleasant and Heather was great at helping me pick frames that suited my taste. Never tried to talk me into anything. She explained the options for lenses clearly so I could pick what worked best forme. A great team!

Dr Tran and his staff has been caring for our family for years now even before this location. They are always very friendly and helpful. I’m a long time contact lens wearer and have occasional issues with infections. I’m always able to get in to see Dr Tran right away and he always diagnoses the problem quickly. Don’t hesitate to make an appointment with Wink and Dr Tran!

There were only 9 eye clinics around me that accepted my insurance. .so, I took a gamble and chose Wink! I gambled right. I have nothing to say that would have made my experience better.
From the convo. on the phone before my appt., to being greeted in the office, to being examined, to picking out glasses. Everything gets an A+!
I even started to feel guilty taking up so much time at my appointment. They explain everything in detail! I left knowing a lot more about eyes. They explained everything so well, I could give the eye exam and help you pick glasses!

I first visited Wink Eye Care In August of 2013 because my optometrist of 10 years quit accepting my insurance. My optometrist was also a family friend that had known me since I was 3, so I was really skeptical about going anywhere else. This all changed when I met Dr. Tran. He explained to me everything he noticed with my vision, my eye health and and choice of previous contacts. He took the time to explain everything very thoroughly as to what he was doing, what he recommended and my options. I have very irritable eyes and some vasculature in my eyes that was the result of wearing contacts too long. He suggested dailies and my eyes have never felt better. The office price matches
, so you know you are getting a fair price. I would recommend visiting Dr. Tran without hesitation.

Dr. Tran is extremely knowledgeable and thorough. I’ve been a lifelong glasses wearer and during this years yearly exam, I decided to give contacts a try. I have astigmatism, and over the years I haven’t had that much success in achieving clear vision and a comfortable fit with contacts. Dr Tran was very confident that my vision could be as clear or even better with contacts. Through a bit of trial and error and a few tweaks to my prescription, I am finally wearing contacts! Although I may never wear contacts full time, I finally have the option. And guess what… .I can see pretty darned well with them :-)

This is by far the best eye care experience my husband and I have ever had! Dr. Tran is beyond helpful and knows how to communicate effectively to his patients. I have damaged my eyes due to bad habits from not changing my contacts and he is the first doctor to show me the ramifications. Due to Dr. Tran’s eye exam I have changed my ways and have become more aware of my eye healthcare.
My husband and I were overwhelmed by the great customer service of the staff and how helpful each and everyone of them are. The choice of frame ware is by far the largest I have ever seen in one retail space and with so many great selections to choose from! The environment is boutique, clean and welcoming. I definitely recommend Wink Eye Care to anyone in the Dallas metro area. My husband and I will continue to be a customer!

I thoroughly appreciate how detail oriented Dr. Tran is. He goes above and beyond to educate his patients regarding their eye exams and health condition. It’s refreshing to interact with his staff who’s very aware of the industry and they tend to share interesting facts. There’s a great mix of eye glasses for the entire family (including for kids). The location is easy to find and the office is very modern. The office strives for world class service.
