I like going here with the kids. I like the trays the food comes on. The staff is always friendly. I like the school fundraisers they do for the community. I like the draw on the wall area for kids. I like their add-ons for burgers and fries. I don’t like the actual hamburgers, especially on the kids meals because they are always falling apart as in the meat is in 3 pieces on the bun. Tip: The coupons are not for all locations so be sure you are going to the location of the coupon if you intend to use one.

They need to rethink things at MooYah. $ 21 for two burgers, one order of fries, 1med drink and 1small drink? This is not Scotty P’s or Fudruckers. Burgers are good but not coming here again to pay that much for that little.

First time at this location and not impressed at all. It was slow and we waited as a few people seemed to be getting off and with the afternoon staff coming in– finally someone took our order and after sitting a realizing no one was cooking our food so after three of them were just hanging around I asked about our order and the guy forgot. They made it and the burger was somewhat warm no flavor and the fries were ok. Not going back. It’s one thing if the establishment is busy but when we are the only people practically in there– no excuse.

Over the year I have eaten at Mooyah Burgers several times. Each experience has been different, thus the 3-star rating. I love the flavor of their burgers and their famous Mooyah sauce. I usually order the same thing: Single Burger with Small Fries and a Lemonade. Toppings include: Tomatoes, Pickles and Mooyah Sauce. Each time is a different experience. Sometimes with lots of each ingredient and some with less. My biggest pet peeve with this location is that my burger is always dripping in grease. I have eaten at other Mooyah locations and have not had that issue, so it is very easy to compare to other locations. No it is not from the pickles or tomatoes, we are talking about pure burger grease. The fries can be hit or miss as well. Sometimes way too salty and sometimes perfect. I would consider driving to another location if Mooyah Burgers is on your to-do list. Service is slow and meals are inconsistent.

My husband and I stopped by for a quick dinner one night to take home. His burger and fries were great. I had the loaded salad which was yummy with chicken. Our shakes were amazing he had a strawberry banana and I had the mint chip which was soooooo yum. The fries are just awesome. We went back a few nights later for more shakes. The staff was super friendly. It’s also very clean and cute in there.

I have eaten here a few times since this place opened several years ago. The first couple of times were ok, not the best, just okay, but usually a step up from the Wendy’s located nearby. However, this last visit a couple of weeks ago was so godawful. I ordered a burger and fries and kids meal to go. It took forever for it to be done. I am guessing about 20 or 25 minutes. When I looked in the bag of fries, I could clearly see they were burnt. But, tasted them anyway and as expected they were horrible. So I had them make them again, and again received the same burnt fries a second time. I had seen several customers complain during my wait but couldn’t hear exactly what they were complaing about and now I knew. The girl calls the female manager over and she proceeds to tell me that«This is normal! and there is nothing wrong with the fries. It’s just the way the potatoes cook»… blah blah blah. Umm, seriously burnt fries are normal for your restaurant now. I left in disgust at her answer. Got home, at least looking forward to the burger and took a bite expecting something to be good and instead it was like I had bitten into a salt stick. So if you have 30 minutes of your life to waste and want burnt fries served with a side of salt burger then this may be the place for you.

So I’ve been wanting to try this place for quite some time and I must say I’m not pleased! the burger was very big but it was sloppy! Like I couldn’t eat my burger because it was sliding all over the place! the vegetables were not fresh!

Oh Mooyah, You make the BEST turkey burger — but you always get our order wrong! Seriously, they make great burgers. Worth the wait to have a custom order. Juicy burgers. Great toppings. Great fries. Just triple check your order.

My favorite place for a delicious burger and fries. Everything is cooked fresh and you get to choose your toppings from a long list! The fries are always cooked fresh to order, and they often give you«extra» fries.(No half-filled fry cups here!) super tasty and the staff is very friendly as well!

Personally, I think mooyah has the best burgers around. The turkey burgers are a win too! My kids love mooyah because they have paper and crayons to color with. The sweet potato fries are amazing, and the regular fries are fresh cut. :)

Ok I went back, dont know why but I did. Much to my surprise, there was a different General Manager, She was Bright, witty, and a joy to talk to. I looked around to see if this was the same place I was at acouple months ago. I explained to her my last experience and she was extremely Apologetic. I wasnt looking for anything free, and I decline anything free just wanted to say her attitude changed my whole way of thinking about Little Elm. I forgot to get her Name, but she has a great personality adn smiled alot. I take back my last review. Glad the change in Management, it made my mind up to come back and spend my money on healthy well cooked food. Thank You Mooyah BTW my food was up and ready in short time.

I’ve tried the place out about 5 different times over the past year since it’s so close to home, and that was 5 times too many. I will not be returning after my last visit. I’ll start with where they’re consistent: 1. Unclean and unsanitary. The floors are sticky in some area, slimy and slippery in others. It seems like the floor is selectively mopped with dirty mop water. 2. Something always gets messed up on my order. They’ll either leave something off that I requested or put something on. That I didn’t ask for. 3. The staff is either unmanaged or incompetent. I’m normally very tolerant of bad service and probably give too many chances to make things right in case it was just a bad day for someone. Here are my experiences: I tried the online ordering option but gave up after I couldn’t figure out how to order what was already a $ 6 burger with a bun that didn’t cost an additional $ 3.50. I always thought burgers included a bun. I then tried to call in the order and was placed on hold for 5+ minutes. I decided to eat somewhere else in this case. On one visit, I placed an order online and arrived 10 minutes later. I waited another 30 minutes to get my order because they kept having to remake orders of other patrons. I counted 4 patrons whose meat was practically raw. I sat all that time waiting and never got an apology, nor was I offered a drink or other nicety to compensate for the long wait. As I was leaving, I was handed a card for a free burger. I waited all this time, got home, and found the order was wrong. On my last and final visit, the person behind the register never acknowledged my presence and instead yelled for another person who was wiping down tables with a filthy rag. This employee seemed to be either under the influence of something or just lost in general. She looked all around and read a ticket next to a burger in progress, then said«it’s not ready yet» and stared dismissively into space. Feeling awkward, I just went to sit at a really greasy table. Space girl started wiping tables again, and the first person that never greeted me called my name out. I got home and discovered they succeeded in messing up this order too. The burgers are far overpriced for what you get. The meat is thin and either under or over-cooked, and has absolutely no flavor. They’re trying to use the same style as 5 Guys where they serve fresh cut fries and top the bag off with them. The fries are actually somewhat decent, though still not as good as 5 Guys Sadly, the service and burgers are much better across the street at McDonalds. I’m surprised they’ve last as long as they have.

Excellent burgers. Definitely in my top 10. The price is right in line with what you’d expect. Be careful with the fries. You get a TON with just a small. They are out of this world good.

We are big mooyah fans. It’s a better deal for lunch, and of course you get 10 lbs of fries which is great. It’s gets a little pricey as a family, but I’ll take pricey over mcdonalds value any day, which is why we come here.

While the food is generally on par with other Mooyahs, the environment is far more dirty and unkept than the Plano or the new Frisco location. On more than a couple occasions it’s been the same situation, filthy floors with fries strewn about. Milkshake machine looked like it had not been wiped down all day. Employees with filthy uniforms. Not sure what the problem is but we avoid the Little Elm location.

I’ve written reviews of Mooyah’s before, so if you know their food, it’s no surprise that they are consistently good, no matter the location. This one is more about what I ate and that Bleu cheese makes a burger that much better. Bleu cheese, grilled onions, tomatoes and mushrooms and the Mooyah sauce. Not a bad combination. Bacon could have made it better, of course, but I chose not to add it. Still, a great product from a great small chain.

When I’m short on time and want a really good burger MooYah is my place. Upon entering you several options for placing your order. One option is to complete your order on a card and then proceed to the cashier. Another is to submit it via an online system they have in the store. This can be used to submit and pay for the order. Of course there’s the traditional proceed to the counter and place your order. Okay, now to the important part. the food!!! Their burgers are quite tasty and sort of addictive. The meat is fresh(never frozen), the cheese is almost like cream and the trimmings(lettuce, pickles, etc) are fresh and plentiful. And their fries are some of the best around. Be warned, Mooyah is very generous with their fries. A small order will easily be enough for 2 people. Thankfully, the burgers and fries are cooked at the time of the order so your food is always hot. I’ve also had MooYah’s turkey burger. It’s equally delicious! So if you’re into beef try their turkey burger. As for this location, I noticed a few comments about the service needing to improve. Service has never been an issue for me. The staff has always been super friendly and attentive. And most important, my order is always accurate. For me when it comes to ‘fast food’ type burger places, there’s MooYah and then there’s everyone else.
